CALL IT INTEREST ON LOANS, RIBA OR USURY, IT'S ALL FORBIDDEN AND ITS HARAAAAAM AND A MAJOR MAJOR SIN FOR BELIEVERS IN ALLAH AND HIS MESSENGER MUHAMMAD ABDULLAH sallallahu alaihi wasallam

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, 10th day of Shawwaal (Thursday 13th June, 2019).
*_CALL IT INTEREST ON LOANS, RIBA OR USURY, IT'S ALL FORBIDDEN AND ITS HARAAAAAM AND A MAJOR MAJOR SIN FOR BELIEVERS IN ALLAH AND HIS MESSENGER MUHAMMAD ABDULLAH sallallahu alaihi wasallam_*. BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem.

We just ended resetting our relationship with ALLAH as such, I would like to remind myself and all fellow believers about one of the evil major sins that we commit easily without realising its effects in our lives and punishment awaiting us with ALLAH so that we can consider repenting.

Riba, Usury, Interest etc is of two major kinds: Riba An-Nasia - Interest on lent money. Riba Al-Fadl - Taking a superior thing of the same kind of goods by giving more of the same kind of goods of inferior quality, eg. FRESH OR DRY DATE'S of superior quality for dates of inferior quality in great amounts.

In the Islamic terminology interest means effortless profit or that profit which comes free from compensation or that extra earning obtained that is free of exchange in commodity or service. Riba has been described as a loan with the condition that the borrower will return to the lender more than and better than the quantity borrowed.

As muslims, our main concerns when it comes to financial transactions is to avoid Riba or interest in any of its forms, despite the fact that the basic foundation of the world economics and finance today is that of riba and dealing in usury. The fact that they drink alcohol, eat pork, making Zina halaal to themselves etc doesn't mean you follow their suit isn't it? So why their interest based dealings which is worse than all mentioned above?

The Prophet  has foretold us of a time when the spread of riba would be so overwhelming that it would be extremely difficult for the Muslim to avoid it. This situation calls for Muslims to be extra cautious before deciding on what money payment of financial methods to use in any personal or business transaction.

To make sure that we are safe from Riba, we have to learn which transactions lead to it. But before we go into that let me point out that ALL loans from any non Islamic bank is HARAAM, a major sin and whoever give, receive or help in its operations such as working in non Islamic Bank, credit financial institution etc has raised a WAR WITH ALLAH, This is mentioned in QUR'AN chapter 2 vs 278 (read it for yourself). Let's fear ALLAH and rather choose to remain in puverty instead of putting fire to our stomach. Frankly, I can confidently say that our selfish interest to make life better by ALL MEANS make some go for these loans or credit cards with interest because, no one can get these facilities if you are not working anyway and if you are working why don't you manage the little you have and seek blessings from ALLAH to make it in life the halaal way? Debit card is acceptable to take so that you can get paid on it by your job but dont accept credit cards, overdrafts or loan please. Stop working with these financial institutions. All those pyramid type introducing people and making money are all forbidden. Let's to sell our eemaan to sheitan.

*_May ALLAH have mercy on us all_*. Aameen. Allow me more time to respond to any questions as I'm extremely busy relocating, painting by myself  and hardly touch my phone.

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Thursday, 13th November, 2025.  *_HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN_*. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality, we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W) said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH Azzawajallah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will make it easy for him in the world and the hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will conceal his faults in this ALLAH Azzawajallah world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ "Muslim 2699. AlhamdulilLah.  With this I hope with immediate effect we will all strive to help each other in any possible way such as making dua for each other, supporting our relatives and those in need in ou...

THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm athalaatha, 3rd day of Rabeeul Awwal 1447AH, Tuesday, 26th August 2025. *_THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF_*. BismilLah.  Islam encourages Muslims in general to stand out among people, readily distinguishable by their dress, appearance and behaviour, so that they will be a good example, worthy of the great message that they bring to humanity. According to the hadith narrated by the great Sahabi Ibn al-Hanzaliyyah, the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam ) told his Companions, when they were travelling to meet some brothers in faith: "You are going to visit your brothers, so repair your saddles and make sure that you are dressed well, so that you will stand out among people like an adornment, for ALLAH (SWT) does not love ugliness." Reported by Imam Abu Dawud, 4/83, in Kitab al-libas, bab ma ja'a fi isbal al-izar. The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) considered an unkempt and careless appearance, and scruffy clothes and furnishings, to be...
