*GOOD MANNERS*

1⃣ Abu Darda (رضي الله عنه) reported that Rasulullah ( صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ) said, “ *Nothing is weightier on the Scale of Deeds than one’s good manners.* ”(Al-Bukhari)

3⃣ Abd Allah ibn ‘Amr (رضي الله عنه ) said, “Rasulullah ( صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ) was never obscene or coarse. Rather, he used to tell us that the best among us were those with the best manners.” (Al-Bukhari)

4⃣ Anas ( (رضي الله عنه) said, “I served Rasulullah ( صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ) for ten years. During that time, he never once said to me as much as ‘Oof’ if I did something wrong. He never asked me, if I had failed to do something, ‘Why did you not do it?,’ and he never said to me, if I had done something wrong, ‘Why did you do it?” (Al-Bukhari)

5⃣ Abu Hurairah ( (رضي الله عنه) said that Rasulullah ( صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ) said, “ *If one has good manners, one may attain the same level of merit as those who spend their nights in prayer.* ” (Al-Bukhari)

6⃣ Abu Hurairah reported that Rasulullah ( صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ) said,“ *And what is most likely to send people to Paradise? Being conscious of Allah and good manners.* ” (Al-Bukhari)

7⃣ Nawas ibn Sam’an (رضي الله عنه) reported that Rasulullah ( صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ) was asked about doing good and evil. He replied, “ *Doing good is having good manners. Doing evil is what troubles you inside and what you would not like others to know about.* ” (Al-Bukhari)

8⃣ Rasulullah ( صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ) said, “ *He who does not show mercy to our young or show esteem for our elders is not one of us.* ” (Al-Bukhari)

*"And keep reminding, because reminding benefits the believers."*(51:55)

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

One of the question asked is can a Christian enter Jannah today?

One of the question asked is can a Christian enter Jannah today? Alhamdulillah, it is clear from Quran and hadiths that any christian who dies believing Jesus is God or son of God and do not believe in prophet Muhammad Peace be Upon Him will enter hellfire. Allah says, Al-Ma'idah 5:17 They have certainly disbelieved who say that Allāh is Christ, the son of Mary. Say, "Then who could prevent Allāh at all if He had intended to destroy Christ, the son of Mary, or his mother or everyone on the earth?" And to Allāh belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them. He creates what He wills, and Allāh is over all things competent.

PURIFICATION OF THE HEART

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm al-khamis, 20th day of Swafar 1447AH, Thursday, 14th August 2025. *_PURIFICATION OF THE HEART_*. BismilLah.  A sister asked me yesterday how we can purify ourselves to achieve the immense benefits mentioned in our reminder yesterday.  The command to purify our hearts from sins was an essential Islamic teaching ever since the early stages of the revelation in Mecca. This is known as “purification of the soul” (tazkiyyat an-nafs).   ALLAH Azzawajal says: He has succeeded who purifies the soul, and he has failed who corrupts the soul. Surah Ash-Shams 91:9-10. Also, ALLAH Azzawajal says: A day when there will be no benefit in wealth or children, but only in he who comes to ALLAH Azzawajal with a pure heart. Surah Ash-Shu’ara 26:88-89.  We learn from these verses that our success in the Hereafter depends upon the purification of our hearts in this life. We must purify our hearts from spiritual sins such as greed, malice, envy, arrog...
