*The Beginning and the End*

*Episode 9*

*How Adam (Alaihissalaam) was Created*

Allah (Sub-haanahu wata'aala) has clarified that Adam was created from earth; as is exemplified in different ways. In the following ayah, Allah (Sub-hānallah wata'aala) says that Adam was created from dust:

Indeed, the example of Jesus to Allah is like that of Adam. He created him from dust; then He said to him, ‘Be,’ and he was. [3:59]

In this ayah Allah (Sub-haanahu wata'aala) says that he was created from clay:

He it is Who has created you from clay, and then has decreed a stated term (for you to die). And there is with Him another determined term (for you to be resurrected), yet you doubt (in the Resurrection). [6:2]

Here Allah (Sub-haanahu wata'aala) says that he was created from sticky clay:

… ‘Are they stronger as creation, or those [others like the heavens and the earth and the mountains, etc.] whom We have created?’ Verily, We created them of a sticky clay.

[37:11]

Allah (Sub-haanahu wata'aala) says that He created him from clay like that of pottery:

He created man from clay like (that of) pottery. [55:14]

He (Sub-haanahu wata'aala) that He created him from sounding clay of altered

black smooth mud:

And indeed, We created man from sounding clay of altered black smooth mud. [15:26]

In any case, Adam was created from one substance.

Allah (Sub-haanahu wata'aala) created Adam from clay, and he passed through different stages. He stayed like this, for as long as Allah willed; thereafter Allah breathed into him the soul which He created for him. Allah (Sub-haanahu wata'aala) says:

And (remember) when your Rubb said to the angels: ‘I am going to create a man [Adam] from sounding clay of altered black smooth mud. So, when I have fashioned him

completely and breathed into him [Adam] the soul which I created for him, then fall (you) down prostrating yourselves unto him.’ So, the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together. Except Iblees [Satan] - he

refused to be among those who prostrated. [15:28-31]

Mankind thereafter procreated from a weak water-like substance (sperm). Allah (Sub-haanahu wata'aala) says:

Who made everything He has created good, and He began the creation of man from clay. * Then He made his offspring from semen of worthless water [male and female sexual discharge]. * Then He fashioned him in due

proportion, and breathed into him the soul (created by Allah for him), and He gave you hearing [ears], sight [eyes] and hearts. Little is the thanks you give! [32:7-9]

As the first man was created from dust (which is of earth) man shall return to it, and from it he will be resurrected on the Day of Resurrection. Allah (Sub-haanahu wata'aala) says:

Thereof [from the earth] We created you, and into it We shall return you, and from it We shall bring you out once again. [20:55]

GIVE CHARITY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Ath-thalaatha. 28th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Tuesday 7th May 2024). *_GIVE CHARITY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD_*. Aameen.  Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: The Prophet (SallallahuAlaihiWasallam) said, "Charity is obligatory everyday on every joint of a human being.* If one helps a person in matters concerning his riding animal by helping him to ride on it or by lifting his luggage on to it, all these will be regarded as charity. A good word, and every step one takes to offer the compulsory congregational prayer is regarded as charity; and guiding somebody on the road is regarded as charity." [Sahih Al-Bukhari, 4/2891]. To show gratitude to ALLAH for keeping your body safe and sound, you should give in charity or do charitable deeds. Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: ALLAH'S Messenger (sallallahuAlaihiWasallam) said, "The strong is not the one who overcomes the people by his strength, but the strong is the one w

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will p
