*HARMFUL EFFECTS OF STRESS*
We have often heard that we need to manage our stress levels because it is harmful to our health . We however do not know much about the kind of diseases that stress can cause. Stress affects how our heart, stomach , lungs and our nervous system works. Specific disorders and diseases include angina, coronary heart diseases, palpitation of the heart , elevation in the blood cholesterol levels and high blood pressure . Others are asthma, indigestion , constipation , peptic ulcers and insomnia. It is therefore important to know how to cope with stress to prevent these diseases . Stay tuned.
