JUMUAT KHUTBAH

 THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat. 22nd day of Jumaadal Awwal 1444AH (Friday 16th December. 2022). *_JUMUAT KHUTBAH_*. BismilLah. 


ALLAH commanded the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam in Qur'an 18:110 to say to Mankind, "I am only a man like you, to whom has been revealed that your LORD is ONE. So whoever would hope for the meeting with his LORD - let him do RIGHTEOUS WORK (in accordance with the prescribed laws of ALLAH,) and NOT ASSOCIATE in the worship of his Lord anyone." ALLAHU AKBAR. 


This is what is meant by seeking the pleasure of ALLAH alone with no associate or partner. These are the two basic features of acceptable deeds: their intent is for the sake of ALLAH alone, and are done in accordance with the way of the Messenger of ALLAH.


Imam Ahmad recorded that Abu Sa`id bin Abi Fadalah Al-Ansari, who was one of the Companions, said:

"I heard the Messenger of ALLAH say,

ALLAH will gather the first and the last on the Day of Resurrection, the Day concerning which there is no doubt. A voice will call out, "Whoever used to associate anyone with ALLAH in the deeds which he/she did, let him seek his reward from someone other than ALLAH, for ALLAH is the least in need of any partner or associate.

 *BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD* It is best to delay this prayer to the last third portion of the night. Abu Hurairah reports that the Messenger of Allah said: "Our Lord descends to the lowest heaven during the last third of the night, inquiring: 'Who will call on Me so that I may respond to him? Who is asking something of Me so I may give it to him? Who is asking for My forgiveness so I may forgive him?"' This is related by the group.
