The dunya is nothing.
Alhamdulillah, today we are dying for dunya and people are neglecting Allah s.w.t to seek for wealth, mansions, car and selling their deen.
This is the life we live today.
As narrated in the Hadith,
Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah(s.a.w) said:
Rush to do good deeds. A Fitnah will occur that is like a portion of the dark night, morning will come upon a man as a believer, who will be a disbeliever in the evening, and evening will come upon a believer, who will be a disbeliever in the morning. One of them will sell his religion for goods of the world.""
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2195.
As we can see today, people are selling their religion to please people or the world.
Today a woman can commit Zina for iPhone 14 or for a car and that.
A person cannot pray at work because he fears his boss or colleague.
This is the life we live.
Allah s.w.t praised some people in Quran saying,
An-Nur 24:37
[Are] men whom neither commerce nor sale distracts from the remembrance of Allah and performance of prayer and giving of Zakah. They fear a Day in which the hearts and eyes will [fearfully] turn about.
Today many are apostate for dunya and has left the deen.
Abu hurayrah r.a said,
Be prompt in doing good deeds (before you are overtaken) by turbulence which would be like a part of the dark night. During (that stormy period) a man would be a Muslim in the morning and an unbeliever in the evening or he would be a believer in the evening andan unbeliever in the morning, and would sell his faith for worldly goods.
Sahih Muslim 118.
May Allah ease our affairs for us in this world of trials.
