STORY OF A SISTER
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
I read about a Muslim woman who was reportedly suffering from severe spiritual difficulties. Her life became so challenging that she almost lost hope and even contemplated taking her own life.
According to the account, powerful evil jinn were tormenting her. As a result, men avoided marrying her, she was dismissed from her job for no apparent reason, and even members of her own family found it difficult to be around her. She experienced several other painful challenges that she could hardly share with anyone.
For over five years, she searched for a cure, travelling from one place to another, but nothing seemed to work.
One day, she listened to an Islamic radio station where a speaker discussed the virtues of reciting Surah Al-Baqarah, the second chapter of the Noble Qur'an, for protection against Shaytan and spiritual harm.
She decided to put this advice into practice with a sincere heart. She began reciting all 286 verses of Surah Al-Baqarah three times every day: in the morning, afternoon, and evening. She reportedly maintained this routine for two months.
The results, according to the story, were remarkable. Before the fifth week, she had a dream in which she saw the evil jinn burning and fleeing in fear.
Soon afterwards, her circumstances reportedly changed completely. More than forty good men proposed to her for marriage within just two weeks. Eventually, she got married and was blessed with children.
She also secured a new and better job before her wedding. She reportedly became one of the most loved and respected people in her family and village.
Allah is the Greatest!
Through her dedication to reciting the entire Surah Al-Baqarah, she reportedly experienced tremendous blessings and a remarkable improvement in her circumstances.
MY PEOPLE!
Are you tired of being sick and worried? Are you spending money on doctors and treatments without experiencing the improvement you desire? Are you experiencing sadness, fear, or a darkness in your heart that you cannot easily explain?
Allah (SWT) has given us a tremendous source of healing and mercy. It is not a secret medicine; it is the Noble Qur'an.
Allah (SWT) says:
وَنُنَزِّلُ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ مَا هُوَ شِفَاءٌ وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
"And We send down of the Qur'an that which is healing and mercy for the believers."
📚 Surah Al-Isra' 17:82
What does this mean for you? It is simple.
The Qur'an is a source of healing. It is a blessing from Allah SWT. It brings comfort to troubled hearts, strengthens our faith, eases our worries, and provides spiritual guidance and healing. It is also a means of seeking Allah's protection against Shaytan and spiritual harm.
BUT LISTEN CAREFULLY!
This healing and mercy should be approached with sincere faith, trust in Allah, and adherence to the teachings of Islam.
A true believer does not seek help from fortune-tellers, soothsayers, magicians, or anyone who claims to possess knowledge of the unseen. They do not engage in shirk, offer unlawful sacrifices, give prohibited offerings, or follow suspicious instructions given in the name of spiritual healing.
They believe in the truth of the Qur'an. They do not merely recite it; they strive to understand it, practise its teachings, and live by its guidance.
MUSLIM FAITHFUL!
Your faith and reliance upon Allah SWT are essential in seeking His healing and mercy.
However, never allow your sins to make you despair of Allah's mercy. Even someone who has repeatedly committed sins or fallen into shirk should sincerely repent, abandon wrongdoing, and return to Allah. His mercy is vast.
NOW,
Think about this simple action:
Aside from creating time to read at least five pages of the Noble Qur'an daily, you can also make Qur'anic recitation part of your nightly routine.
For example, after performing your Isha prayer, you can play a recording of Qur'anic recitation at a comfortable volume while preparing for bed. You may also listen attentively before sleeping or whenever you wake up during the night.
Imagine making your home a place where the words of Allah SWT are regularly recited and remembered!
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
"Do not turn your houses into graves. Indeed, Satan flees from the house in which Surah Al-Baqarah is recited."
📚 Sahih Muslim 780.
My dear brothers and sisters, do not abandon the Qur'an when life becomes difficult. Make it your companion in happiness and hardship.
Remember that healing comes from Allah SWT. Continue making sincere supplications, observing your obligatory prayers, reciting your morning and evening adhkar, and seeking permissible medical treatment whenever necessary.
May Allah SWT make the Noble Qur'an the spring of our hearts, the light of our chests, the remover of our sorrows, and the relief of our worries.
آمين يا رب العالمين.
