Some friends are fun to hang out with, but that is pretty much it; you cannot exactly rely on them. Other friends are there for you but don’t always give you the best advice. But there are some friends, or that one friend, that truly has your back. The friend you would call to bail you out, because you have no doubt that they will, no matter how much trouble you are in.  ﷽ ➖➖➖ *BEWARE OF YOUR FRIENDS* ➖➖➖ *Man is upon Religion of his Best Friend* ➖➖➖ Allah ﷻ says about Qiyamah, *ٱلْأَخِلَّآءُ يَوْمَئِذٍۭ بَعْضُهُمْ لِبَعْضٍ عَدُوٌّ إِلَّا ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ* _Close friends will be enemies to one another on that Day, except the righteous,_ [43:67] _ The good friends will intercede for their friends, who they see are being punished!  Isn't this reason enough to surround yourself with the good company, company of the righteous?  Abu Huraira رضي الله عنه reported: The Prophet ﷺ said: _“A man is upon the religion of his best friend, so let one of you look at whom he befriends.”_ [Sunan al-Tirmidhī 2378, Grade: Sahih according to Al-Nawawi] _ The regret of those who kept bad company, they will cry out!   *وَمَآ أَضَلَّنَآ إِلَّا ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ*   _And nobody has misguided us except the criminals,_   *فَمَا لَنَا مِن شَٰفِعِينَ*   _now we have no intercessors,_   *وَلَا صَدِيقٍ حَمِيمٍۢ*  ...

 FAJR REMINDER: *ABU BAKR'S UPRIGHTNESS* By: Umm Affān Dhul-Hijjah 24, 1443 (23-July-2022) What can you say about a man who is not only upright in Jahiliyyah (Period of Ignorance) but also in Islām? Perhaps that was why embracing Islam became easy for him. In the book Makārim al-akhlāq (83), Al-Hāfidh Ibn Abi Dunya (Raḥimahullāh) said: *“There is no good manner or beautiful action except that Allāh has connected it to Islam.”* A'ishah (RadiyaLlāhu 'Anha) said: *“By Allāh, never did Abu Bakr chant poetry, whether in Islam or Jahiliyyah. He and 'Uthman abhorred drinking intoxicants in Jahiliyyah.”* She also said: *“Abu Bakr had made intoxicants forbidden for himself even in Jahiliyyah.”* This was our mother presenting her father; Abu Bakr to us.
