AT THE END OF TIME

FAJR REMINDER: AT THE END OF TIME

By: Umm ‘Affān

Jumādā al-Ākhirah 16, 1447 (8-December-2025)

As referenced yesterday in the Ḥadīth narrated by Anas Ibn Mālik (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anhu), the occurrence of the Last Hour will take place when knowledge becomes increasingly scarce. The Prophet (ﷺ) elucidated this shortage of knowledge by stating: “Verily, Allāh does not withhold knowledge by snatching it away from his servants, but rather he withholds knowledge by taking the souls of scholars, until no scholar remains and people follow ignorant leaders. They are asked and they issue judgments without knowledge. Thus, they are astray and lead others astray.” [Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 100, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2673]

The Ḥadīth further notes the widespread occurrence of open illegal sexual intercourse alongside an increase in the female population. It is evident that women now surpass men in number within society, a fact supported by statistics from various health and medical institutions.

Additionally, Abū Hurayrah (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anhu) reported that the Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) stated: “There will come a time when there will be no one left who does not consume Ribā, and whoever does not consume it will nevertheless be affected by residue.” [Sunan An-Nasa'ī 4455]

The consequences of Ribā include the rich becoming wealthier while the poor become poorer, as the affluent accumulate resources from the less fortunate. This is perpetuated through loans imposed on the poor, often laden with exorbitant interest for every unit borrowed. As previously mentioned: “Its residue will nevertheless affect everyone.” Indeed, this impact is felt through conventional loans, digital transactions, credit cards, and unfair sales practices.

O people! Let us strive to correct our ways and keep our focus on the Day of Judgment. I beseech Allāh to illuminate our hearts with the truth. Aameen.

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Thursday, 13th November, 2025.  *_HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN_*. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality, we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W) said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH Azzawajallah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will make it easy for him in the world and the hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will conceal his faults in this ALLAH Azzawajallah world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ "Muslim 2699. AlhamdulilLah.  With this I hope with immediate effect we will all strive to help each other in any possible way such as making dua for each other, supporting our relatives and those in need in ou...

THE EXPIATION

FAJR REMINDER: THE EXPIATION! By: Umm Affān Dhū al-Qa'dah 3, 1447 (21-April-2026) Do you know how to live a good life and die upon goodness? I mean the deeds of expiation that help a person meet Allāh free from sins, as pure as the day they were born. Some people may imagine that this is achieved by repeating Astaghfirullāh a million times, praying hundreds of Rak‘āt without even facing the Qiblah, or locking themselves in a dark room for a year while engaging in invented forms of Dhikr. No—this is not the way. Rather, the path is what the Prophet (ﷺ) taught. Ibn Abbās (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anhuma) said Allāh’s Messenger (ﷺ) said: “My Lord came to me tonight in the most beautiful form (I think he said, in a dream). He (Allāh) said, ‘O Muḥammad, do you know what the chiefs on high (the Angels) disputed about?’ I said, ‘No.’ He put His Hand between my shoulder-blades and I could feel its coolness on my chest (or just beneath my throat), then I knew everything that is in the heavens and on e...
