Let's continue from yesterday's reminder with our studies with Deep Commentary & Explanation of Qur’an 113.

Verse 4

وَمِن شَرِّ النَّفَّاثَاتِ فِي الْعُقَدِ

“And from the evil of those who blow on knots.”

Refers to witchcraft and black magic. “Blowing on knots” was a common method used in siḥr

Meaning: Islam acknowledges siḥr exists, but ALLAH’S protection is stronger.

Verse 5

وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ

“And from the evil of an envier when he envies.” Hasad (envy) is one of the most dangerous spiritual diseases, It can cause: Broken relationships, Harm through the evil eye, Hatred and resentment

Meaning: Envy harms both the envier and the envied. “In a world full of unseen dangers, ALLAH Azzawajal did not leave us unprotected.

HE taught us to say: ‘I seek refuge in the Lord of the daybreak.’

Whoever holds firmly to ALLAH Azzawajal, no darkness can overcome him.” To be continued tomorrow in Shaa ALLAH. *_May ALLAH Azzawajal keep guiding and protecting us from any satanic influences_*. Aameen.

Alhamdulillah, it is clear from Quran and hadiths that any christian who dies believing Jesus is God or son of God and do not believe in prophet Muhammad Peace be Upon Him will enter hellfire. Allah says, Al-Ma'idah 5:17 They have certainly disbelieved who say that Allāh is Christ, the son of Mary. PURIFICATION OF THE HEART

 DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm al-khamis, 20th day of Swafar 1447AH, Thursday, 14th August 2025. *_PURIFICATION OF THE HEART_*. BismilLah.  A sister asked me yesterday how we can purify ourselves to achieve the immense benefits mentioned in our reminder yesterday.  The command to purify our hearts from sins was an essential Islamic teaching ever since the early stages of the revelation in Mecca. This is known as “purification of the soul” (tazkiyyat an-nafs).   ALLAH Azzawajal says: He has succeeded who purifies the soul, and he has failed who corrupts the soul. Surah Ash-Shams 91:9-10. Also, ALLAH Azzawajal says: A day when there will be no benefit in wealth or children, but only in he who comes to ALLAH Azzawajal with a pure heart. Surah Ash-Shu’ara 26:88-89.  We learn from these verses that our success in the Hereafter depends upon the purification of our hearts in this life.
