﷽ *First Hadīth Of The Day* حَدَّثَنَا  إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ أَبِي حَازِمٍ،  وَالدَّرَاوَرْدِيُّ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ،  عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ‏.‏  كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُجَاوِرُ فِي رَمَضَانَ  الْعَشْرَ الَّتِي فِي وَسَطِ الشَّهْرِ، فَإِذَا كَانَ حِينَ يُمْسِي مِنْ  عِشْرِينَ لَيْلَةً تَمْضِي، وَيَسْتَقْبِلُ إِحْدَى وَعِشْرِينَ، رَجَعَ  إِلَى مَسْكَنِهِ وَرَجَعَ مَنْ كَانَ يُجَاوِرُ مَعَهُ‏.‏ وَأَنَّهُ  أَقَامَ فِي شَهْرٍ جَاوَرَ فِيهِ اللَّيْلَةَ الَّتِي كَانَ يَرْجِعُ  فِيهَا، فَخَطَبَ النَّاسَ، فَأَمَرَهُمْ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ، ثُمَّ قَالَ ‏"‏ كُنْتُ أُجَاوِرُ هَذِهِ  الْعَشْرَ، ثُمَّ قَدْ بَدَا لِي أَنْ أُجَاوِرَ هَذِهِ الْعَشْرَ  الأَوَاخِرَ، فَمَنْ كَانَ اعْتَكَفَ مَعِي فَلْيَثْبُتْ فِي مُعْتَكَفِهِ،  وَقَدْ أُرِيتُ هَذِهِ اللَّيْلَةَ ثُمَّ أُنْسِيتُهَا فَابْتَغُوهَا فِي  الْعَشْرِ الأَوَاخِرِ وَا...

Surah Al-Anaam, Verse 155 and 156

And this is a blessed Book (the Qur-ān) which We have sent down, so follow it and fear Allah (i.e. do not disobey His Orders), that you may receive mercy (i.e. saved from the torment of Hell). Lest you (pagan Arabs) should say: "The Book was only sent down to two sects before us (the Jews and the Christians), and for our part, we were in fact unaware of what they studied." #COMMENTARY Because the diligent studies of the earlier People of the Book were in languages foreign to the new people of Islam, or because they were meant for circumstances different from those of the new world after Islam.

SEEKING FORGIVENESS REGULARLY

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad 14th day of Rabeeu ath-thaani (Sunday 29th November. 2020). *_SEEKING FORGIVENESS REGULARLY_*. BismilLah.  Satan love to make us feel that ALLAH (Al-Kabeer, The Great) will not forgive sins we commit always so no need to seek forgiveness. That's false. ALLAH, The Most MERCIFUL love to forgive without considering your sins you keep committing. Strive to stop your sins and at the same time never stop seeking forgiveness for your sins.  Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said: A servant committed a sin and he said: O ALLAH, forgive my sin! ALLAH the Exalted says: My servant has committed a sin and he knows he has a Lord who forgives sins and holds him accountable. Then the servant returned to his sin and he said: O ALLAH, forgive my sin! ALLAH says: My servant has committed a sin and he knows he has a Lord who forgives sins and holds him accountable. Then the servant returned to his sin and...

Stories Of The Qur-ān By Ibn Katheer Part 10 Dhul Qarnain

﷽ *Stories Of The Qur-ān By Ibn Katheer* *Part 10* *Dhul Qarnain* Allah the Almighty says: {And they ask you about Dhul-Qarnain. Say: "I shall recite to you something of his story." Verily, We established him in the earth, and We gave him the means of everything. So he followed a way. Until, when he reached the setting place of the sun, he found it setting in a spring of black muddy (or hot) water. And he found near it a people. We (Allah) said (by inspiration): "O Dhul-Qarnain! Either you punish them, or treat them with kindness." He said: "As for him (a disbeliever in the Oneness of Allah) who does wrong, we shall punish him, and then- he will be brought back unto his Lord, Who will punish him with a terrible torment (Hell)."But as for him who believes (in Allah's Oneness) and works righteousness he shall have the best reward, (Paradise), and we (Dhul-Qarnain) shall speak unto him mild words (as instructions)." Then he followed another way. Unt...

SIFAT SALAAT AN NĀBI ﷺ* *(The Prophet's Prayer Described From The Beginning To The End As Though You See It) Episode 30 The Rukoo' (Bowing)

﷽ *SIFAT SALAAT AN NĀBI ﷺ* *(The Prophet's Prayer Described From The Beginning To The End As Though You See It)* *Episode 30* *The Rukoo' (Bowing)* After completing his recitation, he (Sallallaahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam) would pause for a moment382, then raise his hands383 in the way described earlier under the "Opening Takbeer", say takbeer384, and make rukoo'.385 He also ordered "the one who prayed badly" likewise, saying to him, Indeed the prayer of one of you is not complete until he makes an excellent ablution as Allaah has commanded him to ... then he celebrates Allaah's greatness, praises and glorifies Him, then recites the Qur'aan as much as is easy for him from what Allaah has taught him and allowed him, then says takbeer and makes rukoo' [and places his hands on his knees] until his joints are at ease and relaxed386 The Rukoo' Described "He (Sallallaahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam) would place his palms on his knees"387, and ...

Let's Change Our Mindsets About Marriage Episode 309 Principles In Familial Stability

﷽ *Let's Change Our Mindsets About Marriage* *Episode 309* *Principles In Familial Stability* *10. The Tenth and Final Principle: It is his saying صلى الله عليه وسلم , “The best of you are those who are best to their family, and I am the best to my family”.* This is a tremendous principle. ‘Those who are best to their family’, i.e. if a person has something of benevolence, virtue, or honoring, then the greatest whom he can honor is his family, his wife, his mother, he honors his father, he honors his children... These are his family, he is good with them, he spends on them; they are more befitting and better to spend on than other than them, and this goes for the husband and the wife.  The greatest person you can display love and affection to, give beautiful speech and a beautiful appearance to is the husband. And the greatest person you can honor, smile to and laugh with, gift a beautiful character, and exert yourself to deal in goodness with is the mother of your children, ...

First, Second and Third Hadīth Of The Day

﷽ *First Hadīth Of The Day* حَدَّثَنَا  عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ  ابْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ أَنَّ رِجَالاً، مِنْ أَصْحَابِ  النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أُرُوا لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ فِي الْمَنَامِ  فِي السَّبْعِ الأَوَاخِرِ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏ أَرَى رُؤْيَاكُمْ قَدْ  تَوَاطَأَتْ فِي السَّبْعِ الأَوَاخِرِ، فَمَنْ كَانَ مُتَحَرِّيَهَا  فَلْيَتَحَرَّهَا فِي السَّبْعِ الأَوَاخِرِ ‏" ‏‏.‏  Narrated Ibn `Umar:                         Some men amongst the companions of the Prophet (ﷺ) were shown in their dreams that the night of Qadr  was in the last seven nights of Ramadan. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "It seems that all your dreams agree  that (the Night of Qadr) is in the last seven nights, and whoever wants to search for it (i.e. the Night of  Qadr) should search in the last seven (nights of Ramad...

Surah Al-Anaam, Verse 153 and 154

﷽ *Surah Al-Anaam, Verse 153:* وَأَنَّ هَٰذَا صِرَاطِي مُسْتَقِيمًا فَاتَّبِعُوهُ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا السُّبُلَ فَتَفَرَّقَ بِكُمْ عَن سَبِيلِهِ ذَٰلِكُمْ وَصَّاكُم بِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ "And verily, this (i.e. Allah's Commandments mentioned in the above two Verses 151 and 152) is my Straight Path, so follow it, and follow not (other) paths, for they will separate you away from His Path. This He has ordained for you that you may become Al-Muttaqun (the pious - see V. 2:2)." #COMMENTARY Note again the triple refrain with variations, in verse 151, 152, and 153 of Sūra Al-An'ām. In verse 151, we have the moral law, which it is for our own good to follow: "Thus doth He command you, that ye may learn wisdom." In verse 152, we have to deal justly and rightly with others; we are apt to think too much of ourselves and forget others: "Thus doth He command you, that ye may remember." In verse 153 our attention is called to the Straight Way, the Way of Al...

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt 13th day of Rabeeu ath-thaani (Saturday 28th November. 2020). PRAISING ALLAH FIRST BEFORE SEEKING HIS HELP

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt 13th day of Rabeeu ath-thaani (Saturday 28th November. 2020). *_PRAISING ALLAH FIRST BEFORE SEEKING HIS HELP_*. BismilLah.  It's very disrespectful and not right to just raise our hands seeking help or protection etc from ALLAH without praising HIM first. Even on Earth, we all witness especially in Africa such as Ghana, how chiefs are praised before even talking to them. You cannot just go in front of any Chief and start talking without praising him. In Islam we are thought to First praise ALLAH using HIS names and attributes then send praises to the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam next before even praying for yourself, family and other Muslims.  ALLAH(Al-Alim, The All Knowing, The Omniscient) has described HIMSELF in the Quran through HIS Names and Attributes. We Muslims believe that studying these Names and Attributes is one of the most effective ways of strengthening one’s relationship with ALLAH(As-Sami‘e, The All Hearing)...

2 Great Mistakes of a lifetime 1st Mistake

*2 Great Mistakes of a lifetime* 1st Mistake  Brothers and Sisters ~ Let's try and read the complete Quran with its meaning cover to cover at least once in our lifetime. Wallahi it will be a great disaster to live in this world for 20 years, 30 years, 40 years, 50 years, or 60 years and you never read the message of the Quran from start to end. We have studied every accounting textbook or every biology textbook. We spent a lifetime searching for money and fame. But we never care to make time for the message of Allah. One is surely a loser if he or she dies without reading the Quran.  2nd Mistake  You read hundreds of novels or so, you watch every episode of your favourite TV show, you watched every Premier or La Liga season matches, you know almost all the porn stars on the internet, you watch over a thousand TikTok videos, but you never make time to listen or read the Seerah (Biography) of the most beloved person to Allah, i.e. Prophet Muhammad PBUH. As Muslims we ...

Stories Of The Qur-ān By Ibn Katheer Part 9 `Uzair(Ezra)

﷽ *Stories Of The Qur-ān By Ibn Katheer* *Part 9* *`Uzair(Ezra)* Allah the Almighty says: {Or like the one who passed by a town and it had tumbled over its roofs. He said: "Oh! How will Allah ever bring it to life after its death?" So Allah caused him to die for a hundred years, then raised him up (again). He said: "How long did you remain (dead)?" He (the man) said: "(Perhaps) I remained (dead) a day or part of a day". He said: "Nay, you have remained (dead) for a hundred years, look at your food and your drink, they show no change and look at your donkey! And thus We have made of you a sign for the people. Look at the bones, how We bring them together and clothe them with flesh ". When this was clearly shown to him, he said, I know (now) that Allah is Able to do all things"}. (Al-Baqarah, 259) And, {And the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say: Messiah is the son of Allah. That is their saying with their...

﷽ *SIFAT SALAAT AN NĀBI ﷺ* *(The Prophet's Prayer Described From The Beginning To The End As Though You See It)* *Episode 29* *Funeral Prayer* "The Sunnah is to recite al-Faatihah359 [and another soorah] in it."360 Also, "he would be silent for a while, after the first takbeer."361 Tarteel (Recitation in slow, rhythmic tones), & Making the Voice Beautiful when Reciting  He (Sallallaahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam) used to recite the Qur'aan in slow, measured rythmic tones as Allaah had instructed him, not racing or hurrying; rather, his was "a recitation clearly- distinguishing each letter"362, so much so that "he would recite a soorah in such slow rhythmic tones that it would be longer than would seem possible." He also used to say: It will be said to the reciter of the Qur'aan (on the Day of Judgment), 'Recite and ascend; recite slowly and rhythmically as you used to do in the previous world; your place will be at the last aayah ...

Let's Change Our Mindsets About Marriage Episode 308 Principles In Familial Stability

﷽ *Let's Change Our Mindsets About Marriage* *Episode 308* *Principles In Familial Stability* *9. The Ninth Principle: Pardoning when able is a means to repel disputes and the continuation of familial cohesiveness.* Allah —glorified and exalted be He— made pardoning desirous, He said: “But whoever forgives and makes reconciliation, his reward is with Allah.” [42:40]. He — glorified and Exalted be He— said: “And march forth in the way (which leads) to forgiveness from your Lord, and for Paradise as wide as the heavens and the earth, prepared for Al-Muttaqun. Those who spend (in Allah’s Cause) in prosperity and in adversity, who repress anger, and who pardon men; verily, Allah loves Al-Muhsinun (the good-doers)”. [3:133,134). And our Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “And Allah will not increase the servant for [his] pardoning except honor”. [Muslim, 2588]  The best people you can pardon are those who are in your own home; the best people a man pardons are those who are closest ...
