ALLAH'S HELP IS SO NEAR

ALLAH'S HELP IS SO NEAR ............ In this modern world of technology, getting things we want has become very easy— too easy. We can get almost anything we want from any shop worldwide . We can order whatever food we want and it’s on our doorstep in twenty minutes. We can have unlimited free entertainment and a huge social network just sitting at home. The negative side of all this is that we have become too used to instant gratification in everything. This has reduced our attention span (a problem discussed widely in education systems), and we have become impatient. We carry this impatience forward to making dua– we want instant results, otherwise we lose hope.  *_But eliciting Allah’s help is not like ordering pizza online. We can’t demand from Allah if He doesn’t answer; everything in the universe belongs to Him. He is our Rabb— even we ourselves belong to Him. If our prayers are not getting answers, we should think maybe there is something wrong with our attitude and ou...

BEEN PATIENT DURING DIFFICULT TIMES IS ACTUALLY AN ACT OF WORSHIP

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 7th/8th day of Rajab. (Tuesday, 8th Febuary 2022). *_BEEN PATIENT DURING DIFFICULT TIMES IS ACTUALLY AN ACT OF WORSHIP_*. BismilLah.  If you have been sick and suffering, surely it is not easy. But again, know in your mind and believe in your heart that it is indeed better for you. For, if you bear patiently, it will be a means of expiation for your sins and a source of great reward. The Prophet (sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) said: 'There is nothing that befalls a believer, not even a thorn that pricks him, but ALLAH will record one good deed for him and will remove one bad deed from him.' (By Imam Muslim). On the Day of Resurrection, when people who had suffered afflictions are given their reward, those who were healthy will wish their skins had been cut to pieces with scissors when they were in the world (when they see the immense rewards for the afflictions they suffered).' (By ImamTirmidhi-Saheeh by al-Albaani)....

WE ARE THE ARCHITECT OF OUR OWN SUFFERING

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum al-ithnayn, 6th/7th day of Rajab. (Monday, 7th Febuary 2022). *_WE ARE THE ARCHITECT OF OUR OWN SUFFERING_*. BismilLah. Alhamdulillah for blessing us with another blessed day of the week.  The sad reality we find ourselves today as humans especially in we Muslims is the fact that we hate each other, we envy each other, we blame each other, we focus on accusing and abusing others. We never focus on ourselves first and try to be good human beings. We all know the many hadith and Qur'an verses on this points I'm raising today. The Prophet sallallahu Alaihi wasallam said no one can claim to be a believer if he does not love for others what he love for himself. This is a well known authentic hadith right? But sadly majority of we Muslim today cannot claim to pass this basic rule of our deen. We hate our own parents and children, we hate our wives and husbands, co-wives hate each other etc. This is a serious issue that require us to sit down,...

In this way, companionship continues._ _As for turning away from good qualities, and only observing shortcomings even if they are very few then this is from being unjust, and the husband can hardly be settled with his wife.’_ [Bahjat al-Qaloob 153-154] _To be continued… ุฅู† ...

GIRLS ARE GOLDEN

GIRLS ARE GOLDEN A STORY BY LATEEFAH ADEWUNMI JUMAH:LAJFINGERS EPISODE SIXTY-FOUR The lunch break gradually approached. Abidah was still racking her head for a lie to tell Adam in order to escape the lunch date he proposed. "How long will you tell a lie? Remember you'll be here together for a long time. Just tell him the truth," Aneen said to Abidah. "What's the truth?" Abidah asked, staring blankly at her. "The truth is that you're not interested in him," Aneen replied. "This guy has the support of my sister so I need wisdom. I want to tell him with my attitude and not words. I want to continue avoiding him till he's able to read the handwriting on the wall," Abidah stated. "What if he's not wise enough to read the handwriting on the wall?" "Don't worry, he'll read it by fire by fire." "It's 10 minutes before 12, he'll soon be here, what will you do now?" Aneen asked. "Okay,...

Today’s Beautiful Hadith is about Fairness

๐ŸŒ  Today’s Beautiful Hadith is about Fairness.  An-Nu'man bin Bashir Al-Ansari (RA) narrated that his mother, the daughter of Rawahah, asked his father to give some of his wealth to her son. He deferred that for a year, then he decided to give it to him. She said: "I will not be pleased until you ask the Messenger of Allah (SAW) to bear witness." He said: "O Messenger of Allah (SAW), the mother of this boy, the daughter of Rawahah, insisted that I give a gift to him." The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "O Bashir, do you have any other children besides this one?" He said: "Yes." The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "Have you given all of them a gift like that which you have given to this son of yours?" He said: "No." The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "Then do not ask me to bear witness, for I will not bear witness to unfairness." (Sunan an-Nasa'i 3681, Book 31, Hadith 10) Always be fair with your children. If ...

Stoop to Conquer: 10 ways of honoring servants

*Stoop to Conquer: 10 ways of honoring servants*  By Sadaf Farooqi Most Muslims in Eastern countries employ domestic staff as a norm. For some, domestic helpers are a priceless resource who significantly ease our day-to-day chores. Conversely, for others, they can be a source of distress and chagrin.  Many women complain to each other about the trouble they face from the incompetence, treachery, and intentional misdemeanor of their servants. However, we need to remind ourselves that it is in managing our helpers according to Islamic injunctions where the secret lies to get the best out of them. *1⃣ Think of their pay as Sadaqah*  We need to change the way we view our servants’ wages. By considering it an “expense,” we tend to extract “full value” of the money. For instance, even if a maid is sick, her employer might say, “I pay her to work, so she must work.” But if we consider the salary a “Sadaqah” that helps fill their bellies, we will Insha Allah be more toleran...

AN ORPHAN CHILD

AN ORPHAN CHILD  ๐Ÿ›‘ Definition of Orphans In Islam, an orphan is typically a child who lost their father before maturity. This definition is different from the Western definition of a child who has lost both parents. However, this definition is changing. UNICEF is now defining an orphan as a child who has lost a parent, mother or father. A child who is isolated from their parents is called a “social orphan.” Children who have lost both parents are “double orphans.” There are currently more than 153 million children around the world who are orphans. Of these, 23 million are “double orphans.” ๐Ÿ›‘What does Islam say? Providing for orphans is a significant act in Islam. It is so significant that Allah mentioned orphans in the Qur’an at least 25 times! In addition, the Prophet (peace be upon him) reminded us of the virtues of caring for an orphan. Of the most famous sayings of our Beloved Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), is: “‘the one who cares for an orphan, and myself w...

BismilLah.  ALLAH have promised us in the Quran that those of us who obey HIS rules and worship HIM sincerely will be driven to Paradise in groups with Prophet Mohammed  sallalLaahu Alaihi Wasallam as our imam in front till we get to the gate of paradise and its keepers say, "Peace be upon you; you have become pure; so enter it to abide eternally therein.
