BismilLah.  One of the companions of the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam, Shaddad ibne Aws (radi Allahu anhu) once began to cry, People asked why he was crying, so he replied, “It is something I heard from Rasulullah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) which makes me weep when I remember it. Rasulullah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: ‘I fear for my people Shirk (ascribing partners to ALLAH) and hidden desires.’ I asked: ‘O Rasulullah! Would your people be guilty of idolatry after your death?’ Rasulullah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) replied: ‘Yes (but) they will not worship the sun, the moon, a stone or an idol; but they will act for display (without sincerity). Hidden desire is that one of them will start the day fasting, but when one of his desires will present itself to him; he will abandon his fast (...

The hijrah of the prophet salla Allahu alayhi wasalam and Abubakr r.a  and what happened..  Narrated Al-Bara':: Abu Bakr bought a (camel) saddle from `Azib for thirteen Dirhams. Abu Bakr said to `Azib, "Tell Al- Bara' to carry the saddle for me." `Azib said, "No, unless you relate to me what happened to you and Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) when you left Mecca while the pagans were in search of you." Abu Bakr said, "We left Mecca and we traveled continuously for that night and the following day till it was midday. I looked (around) searching for shade to take as shelter, and suddenly I came across a rock, and found a little shade there. So I cleaned the place and spread a bed for the Prophet (ﷺ) in the shade and said to him, 'Lie down, O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ).' So the Prophet (ﷺ) lay down and I went out, looking around to see if there was any person pursuing us. Suddenly I saw a shepherd driving his sheep towards the rock, seeking what we had a...

The beauty of a righteous woman.

The beauty of a righteous woman.  Narrated Asma' bint Abu Bakr: When Az-Zubair married me, he had no real property or any slave or anything else except a camel which drew water from the well, and his horse. I used to feed his horse with fodder and drew water and sew the bucket for drawing it, and prepare the dough, but I did not know how to bake bread. So our Ansari neighbors used to bake bread for me, and they were honorable ladies. I used to carry the date stones on my head from Zubair's land given to him by Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and this land was two third Farsakh (about two miles) from my house. One day, while I was coming with the date stones on my head, I met Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) along with some Ansari people. He called me and then, (directing his camel to kneel down) said, "Ikh! Ikh!" so as to make me ride behind him (on his camel). I felt shy to travel with the men and remembered Az-Zubair and his sense of Ghira, as he wasone of those people who had ...

BismilLah.  The purpose of fasting is to develop the quality of righteousness (taqwa), inwardly and outwardly, by abstaining from sinful deeds and training ourselves to control our thoughts and desires Fasting is a deeply spiritual practice that is meant to benefit us in body, mind, and heart. Our beloved Messenger of ALLAH said: Fasting is a shield from the Hellfire just like the shield of any of you in battle: Sunan Ibn Mājah 1639. There are three levels of fasting that correspond to its outward and inward components: abstaining from food and drink, abstaining from sins, and abstaining from bad thoughts. ALLAH says:  O you who believe, fasting is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you that you may become (TAQWAH) righteous. Quran 2:183. The word taqwa comes from the root meaning “to guard” and it is vario...

Our enemies, who want to tear our marriage may not be known by face. Yes. Recall what happened with Abu Bakr. The person he supported financially, his own relative, Mistah bin Uthatha was one of those who spearheaded the slander of Nana Aʾishah (r.a.). But, Allah (swt) sent Revelation to the Prophet (PBUH) to wash Nana Aʾishah off the allegations. Now, Continuation of the previous episodes - as promised: *Lesson No 3:* The response of the other wives of the Prophet Despite the jealousy that existed in the  hearts of some of the other wives of the prophet, none of them took the least part in the slander nor even expressed the slightest approval of it. Even Zainab, for whose sake her real sister, Hamnah bint Jahsh, was taking part in the slander, did not utter anything about her rival (Aishah (r.a.) except good words. According to Aishah (r.a.) herself: "Zainab among the wiv...

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul Jumuat, 12th day of RabeeulAwwal, 1446AH (Sunday, 15th September 2024). *_GAMBLING IS EVIL STAY AWAY FROM IT PLEASE_*. Bismillah.  Gambling means to give or take money or goods depending on something that is not known how it will end. No matter what the name is, any game or bet that has this property and that is played in return for money or goods is called gambling in Shariah.  ALLAH says: "O ye who believe! Intoxicants (Alcohol) and gambling (dedication of) stones and (divination by) arrows are an abomination of Satan's handiwork: eschew such (abomination) that ye may prosper. Satan's plan is (but) to excite enmity and hatred between you, with intoxicants and gambling, and hinder you from the remembrance of ALLAH, and from prayer (al-Maida, 5/90, 91. There is no difference between alcohol and gambling in terms of being forbidden and being a sin. ALLAH renders them haram in the same verse above, so please stop the football betting and all ...

A group of ‘munafiqs’ (hypocrite's) leader, Abdullah bin Ubai along with other hypocrites, made use of simple incident which happened when Nana Aʾishah forgot her necklace and returned back to search for it, which made her missed walking with the group of army. They expressed their evil intention by Slandering Nana Aʾishah that she stayed behind to commit zina with a pious companion of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) But, Nana Aisha (r.a.) was neither afraid nor worried about these rumors. She knew that she was innocent and that Allah (swt) would not treat her unjustly. Then, Allah (swt) sent Revelation to the Prophet (PBUH) to wash Nana Aʾishah off the allegations. Allah clearly declared in the verses of Quran (Surah Nur-24: Verses 11-20) that Aisha (r.a.) was innocent. Thus, Allah told His Messenger (PBUH) in these verses that what was said about Aisha bint Abi Bakr (r.a.) was n...

Mankind is One Ummah.

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm As-Sabt, 11th day of RabeeulAwwal, 1446AH (Saturday, 14th September 2024). *Mankind is One Ummah.* BismilLah. Assalaamu Alaikum WarahmatulLah my brothers and sisters in Islam. It's important for us to note that mankind was created by ALLAH as ONE UMMAH to worship only HIM through HIS final Messenger, our beloved Messenger Muhammad sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam. We are one, so it's important we make dua for ALLAH to guide the misguided people from this ummah as they are not our enemies but our lost brothers and sisters in human hood. Truly, this, your Ummah is one religion, "Meaning, Your path is one path. Certainly, this is your Shariah (Divine Law) which I have clearly explained you." So ALLAH says: وَأَنَا رَبُّكُمْ فَاعْبُدُونِ and I am your Lord, therefore worship Me. The Messenger of ALLAH said: نَحْنُ مَعَاشِرَ الاَْنْبِيَاءِ أَوْلَادُ عَلَّتٍ دِينُنَا وَاحِد "We Prophets a...

The story of Amanah from the noble hadith of Rasulullah salla Allahu alayhi wasalam.  Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "An Israeli man asked another Israeli to lend him one thousand Dinars. The second man requiredwitnesses. The former replied, 'Allah is sufficient as a witness.' The second said, 'I want a surety.' The former replied, 'Allah is sufficient as a surety.' The second said, 'You are right,' and lent him the money for a certain period. The debtor went across the sea. When he finished his job, he searched for a conveyance so that he might reach in time for the repayment of the debt, but he could not find any. So, he took a piece of wood and made a hole in it, inserted in it one thousand Dinars and a letter to the lender and then closed (i.e. sealed) the hole tightly. He took the piece of wood to the sea and said. 'O Allah! You know well that I took a loan of one thousand Dinars from so-and-so. He demanded a surety from me bu...

THE HYPOCRITE

*THE HYPOCRITE* Allah describes the munafiqoon in surah al-Nisa' by saying: [ وَإِذَا قَامُوا إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ قَامُوا كُسَالَىٰ يُرَاءُونَ النَّاسَ وَلَا يَذْكُرُونَ اللَّهَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا] And when they stand for prayer, they stand lazily to be seen by people and they only remember Allah a little. [142] In his tafsir, Imam al-Tabari wrote: Qatadah said: "And when they stand for prayer, they stand lazily to be seen by people" - I swear by Allah, if it weren't for the people, a munafiq wouldn't even pray. He only prays to be seen and heard by others.  "And they only rememb...
