A Message 4 You* [[---- Part 7 ----]]

*A Message 4 You* [[---- Part 7 ----]] ------------------ بسم الله الرحمان الرجيم The stories of the early Muslims? They are not just stories in a book. They are a mirror for you and me. Allah (swt) says our life is a test. The hard times? A test. The easy, comfortable times? Also a test. Everything that comes to us—what feels good and what feels bad—is chosen by Allah for a reason. It is for our own good, even if we cannot see how. My People, What Allah (swt) has chosen for us, no one can change it. What Allah (swt) has not chosen for us, no power can get it for us. So what is the key? Continuous Du'a & Patience. Yes! Worrying, being angry, complaining about our challenges (marital or non-marital, sickness or financial)—this does not stop Allah’s plan. It only hurts our own hearts. Complaining is the opposite of patience. Yes. True patience means staying firm in our faith when panic, trials, and hardship hit us. This is not easy, but it is obligatory. It is our duty. The real...

*A Message 4 You* [[---- Part 6 ----]]

*A Message 4 You* [[---- Part 6 ----]] ------------------ بسم الله الرحمان الرجيم Look at your challenges now. It feels big, right? It feels heavy. You feel helpless. But to Allah, it is small. Yes. Allah (swt) is the One who moved a mountain from a cave. Allah is the One who saved Prophet Yunus (A.S) from the dark inside a huge fish. Your trouble? Allah (swt) can remove it in a second. So why do we panic? Why do we cry,: saying "Why me?" We act as if Allah (swt) cannot see us. We forget HIM. This is our biggest mistake. Let’s remember this: *“Three persons of a people before you, were on a journey when they were overtaken by a storm and therefore they took shelter in a cave. A rock slipped down from the mountain and blocked the exit from cave. One of the 3 men supplicated: “O Lord, I had a cousin that I loved more passionately than any man could love a woman. I tried to seduce her but she would refuse, till in a season of great hardship due to famine, she approached me (for...

TAFSEER OF SURAH AL-FĀTIḤAH WITH CONTEXT, COMMENTARY, MEANINGS, and PRACTICAL LESSONS WE CAN APPLY IN OUR DAILY LIFE

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-ithnayn, 17th day of Jumaadal Aakhir 1447AH, Monday, 8th December, 2025. TAFSEER OF SURAH AL-FĀTIḤAH WITH CONTEXT, COMMENTARY, MEANINGS, and PRACTICAL LESSONS WE CAN APPLY IN OUR DAILY LIFE_*. BismilLah. Surah Al-Fātiḥah is the opening of the Qur’an, recited in every unit of prayer (ṣalāh). It is a dua’ taught by ALLAH Azzawajal HIMSELF, a conversation between a servant and His LORD. The Prophet ﷺ said: “There is no prayer for the one who does not recite Umm al-Kitāb (Sahih al-Bukhari). This shows its spiritual weight: Our salah is a conversation with ALLAH Azzawajal. Let's study it's meaning, lessons and reflections.  1️⃣  بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ “In the Name of ALLAH, the Most Merciful, the Especially Merciful.” We begin everything with ALLAH’S name, symbolising dependence, not independence. “Ar-Raḥmān” = ALLAH’S mercy that covers everything. “Ar-Raḥīm” = a special, continuous mercy for the believers. Lesson: Begin your ta...

AT THE END OF TIME

FAJR REMINDER: AT THE END OF TIME By: Umm ‘Affān Jumādā al-Ākhirah 16, 1447 (8-December-2025) As referenced yesterday in the Ḥadīth narrated by Anas Ibn Mālik (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anhu), the occurrence of the Last Hour will take place when knowledge becomes increasingly scarce. The Prophet (ﷺ) elucidated this shortage of knowledge by stating: “Verily, Allāh does not withhold knowledge by snatching it away from his servants, but rather he withholds knowledge by taking the souls of scholars, until no scholar remains and people follow ignorant leaders. They are asked and they issue judgments without knowledge. Thus, they are astray and lead others astray.” [Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 100, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2673] The Ḥadīth further notes the widespread occurrence of open illegal sexual intercourse alongside an increase in the female population. It is evident that women now surpass men in number within society, a fact supported by statistics from various health and medical institutions. Additional...

FAJR REMINDER: BELIEF IN THE DAY

FAJR REMINDER: BELIEF IN THE DAY By: Umm ‘Affān Jumādā al-Ākhirah 15, 1447 (7-December-2025) A fundamental aspect of being a true Muslim is the belief in the certainty of the Day of Judgment. Indeed, this belief forms an essential part of the articles of Faith in Islām. Therefore, we must await its arrival in a state of purity. The Prophet (ﷺ) has foretold a series of events that will serve as indicators on how we should prepare for this Day. The emergence of certain minor signs has demonstrated that the Day is indeed approaching. Yet, the allure of this fleeting world has blinded many, preventing them from recognizing its imminent arrival. They pay little to no heed to the signs that lie directly before them; they may think the Day is far away, which is a grave error. Allāh states: “Draws near for mankind their reckoning, while they turn away in heedlessness.” [Sūrah Al-Anbiyā (21): 1] It is crucial to be aware of both the minor and major signs leading up to this Day, as this kno...

THE SERIAL MASK BY MORUFAT AJANI CHAPTER THIRTY-THREE

THE SERIAL MASK BY MORUFAT AJANI CHAPTER THIRTY-THREE Badru finally lifts his head, stealing a glance at Hanan, then at Akin. His lips tremble, but he forces himself to talk. “Where…where did you..did you… take Leila to yesterday? Wh-why did you go and pick her up when you knew I wasn’t there?” Badru stammers. He is obviously anxious and intimidated by Akin. Akin snaps. “Badru, are you insane? What are you even saying? Who told you I picked her? Did you see me there? Do you have proof that I did so? How dare you show up in my office to accuse me wrongly. Are you mad? You don’t have proof.” Wait, how come these two are talking like they know each other prior today. Oh no, God please. “You were…you…are… having an affair with her. So I don't think going to pick…pick…her should be a big deal,” Badru blurts, almost in a whisper and Hanan freezes. “What?” Hanan says under her breath. Badru continues, trying to steady his voice and sound more confident. “I saw your chats two days ago. An...

THE SERIAL MASK BY MORUFAT AJANI CHAPTER THIRTY-TWO

THE SERIAL MASK BY MORUFAT AJANI CHAPTER THIRTY-TWO Later that evening, around 8pm, after dinner and some light gist with her mother, Leila steps outside to get fresh air. She is scrolling through her phone when Akin’s name flashes across her screen. He’s calling. He has been calling her since an hour ago but she didn't pick the call. She stares at it for a moment, then picks it with the mindset that she will end things with him tonight once and for all. Now that Badru has turned a new leaf, she wants to stop cheating on him. “Hello,” she says quietly. Akin’s voice comes in, calm but heavy. “Leila, what’s going on? You’ve been avoiding me all day.” Leila sighs, leaning against the rail. “Akin, I didn't pick because I need this relationship to end. I want it over. It's over between us.” Silence. Then Akin responds, sounding firm. “No. We’re not ending anything on the phone. I need to see you.” “Akin—” “Please. Just one last talk. Where are you or tell me wherever you will w...

THE SERIAL MASK BY MORUFAT AJANI CHAPTER THIRTY-ONE

THE SERIAL MASK BY MORUFAT AJANI CHAPTER THIRTY-ONE After their meal, Leila finishes dressing up while Badru is already seated in the living room, scrolling through his phone. He looks up at her and smiles faintly. “You look good,” he compliments Leila. Leila grins and ties her scarf tighter. “Thank you.” She says, excited that her lovely Badru is back. As she grabs the car key, Badru looks at her with a teasing smirk. “Hope you know you’re the one driving today. I’m not fit.” Leila chuckles. “Seriously?” He shrugs. “I’m serious o. Or are you scared?” Leila rolls her eyes, smiling. “Watch and learn, Mr. Badru.” They leave the house together, enter the car, and start driving. The journey feels light. Leila is smiling too much. She still can’t believe how peaceful the morning has been. It almost feels like a dream. The opposite of what she expected. Halfway through the journey, Badru’s phone rings. He picks it and talks for a few seconds with a serious look. Then he hangs up and exh...

GOOD DEEDS WITHOUT FAITH IN ALLAH (AZZAWAJAL) IS NULL AND VOID continues

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaumul ahad, 16th day of Jumaadal Aakhir 1447AH, Sunday, 7th December, 2025. *_GOOD DEEDS WITHOUT FAITH IN ALLAH (AZZAWAJAL) IS NULL AND VOID continues_*. BismilLah.  Lessons from our reminder yesterday; 1. Faith is the foundation of accepted deeds. No matter how beautiful, generous, or kind an action might appear, any deed disconnected from belief in ALLAH Azzawajal becomes like dust on the Day of Judgement. Eemaan gives weight to deeds. 2. Do not rely on your deeds but rather rely on ALLAH Azzawajal. Even believers must learn humility as our deeds are fragile. We need ALLAH to accept them. Sincerity (ikhlāṣ) is what gives deeds value 3. Sincerity is everything. A deed done for showing off, for reputation, for worldly gain or for praise…can also turn into ashes, even for a believer. Let's Protect our intentions. 4. The parable reminds us of the Day of Judgement. On that day: deeds will be weighed, intentions will be exposed, only actions done for ALLA...

A Message 4 You* [[---- Part 5 ----]]

*A Message 4 You* [[---- Part 5 ----]] ------------------ بسم الله الرحمان الرجيم When you hear about Prophet Zakariyyah or Prophet Musa (A.S), don't just listen. Look at your own life. Yes. Their stories are not old tales. They are Allah's way of teaching you how to live today. Here is how. Sometimes, things don't go your way. You feel sad. This is where your test begins. Look at Prophet Zakariyyah (A.S). He wanted a child. He prayed for a child for so, so long. But did he stopped making Du'a? No! He never gave up on Allah. And when Allah finally said "yes," Allah (swt) did not give him just anyhow child. HE gave him  - Yahya (A.S) —a noble Prophet for that matter. The long, painful "delay" was actually Allah preparing a perfect "long-lasting joy." To prove this, Allah (swt) Himself said about Zakariyyah's son in the Quran: *"And affection from Us and purity, and he was fearing of Allah."* 📚(Maryam 19:13)... After all that ...

Imam's Friends* [[-- Episode 3 --]]

*Imam's Friends* [[-- Episode 3 --]] ------------------ بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم *Offering obligatory prayer behind someone establishing nafil prayer:* There is nothing wrong with one who is offering an obligatory prayer to pray behind one who is offering an optional prayer. Evidence: Mu adh ibn Jabal (r.a.) used to pray Isha’ with the Prophet (pbuh), then he would go back to his people and lead them in praying ‘Isha’, and the prayer was optional for him and obligatory for them. An-Nawawi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: “In this Hadith, we see that it is permissible for one who is offering an obligatory prayer to pray behind one who is offering a optional prayer, because Mu‘adh used to offer the obligatory prayer with the Messenger of Allah (pbuh), so he discharged his duty, then he would pray the second time with his people, so it was voluntary for him and obligatory for them. This is stated clearly elsewhere than in Muslim, and this is permissible according to Ash-Shafa‘i (may...

Imam's Friends* [[-- Episode 2 --]]

*Imam's Friends* [[-- Episode 2 --]] ------------------ بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم *Praying Maghrib behind one who is praying ‘Isha’:* Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The correct view on this is that if a person comes (to the mosque) and the imam is praying ‘Isha’, whether he is with a group or not, he should join the imam, with the intention of praying Maghrib. It does not matter if the imam’s intention is different from that of one who is praying behind him, because the Prophet (pbuh) said: “Actions are but by intentions, and each person will have but that which he intended.” If they join him in the second rak’ah, they can say the tasleem with him, because they will have prayed three rak’ahs, and it does not matter if they sit for the Tashahhud during their first rak’ah. If they join him in the first rak’ah, then when he stands up for the fourth rak’ah, they can sit and recite the Tashahhud and say the tasleem, then join him in what remains of ‘Isha prayer....

Imam's Friends* [[-- Episode 1 --]]

*Imam's Friends* [[-- Episode 1 --]] ------------------ بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم *Praying Asr behind an Imam Praying Maghrib:* It is not permissible to observe ‘Asr prayer behind an Imam observing Maghrib prayer; rather one should pray Maghrib with that particular Imam, then pray ‘Asr afterward, as agreed upon by all leading scholars and he does not have to repeat the Maghrib prayer after praying ‘Asr according to the most correct opinion. Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taimiyyah said that he should pray Maghrib with the Imam, then pray ‘Asr afterward, as agreed upon by all leading scholars. He does not have to repeat Maghrib.....This is the saying of Ibn Abbas, the Shafi’i madhab. This is more correct (amongst all opinions on this), for Allah (سبحانه و تعالى) did not make it obligatory on the person to pray a swalaat twice if he has feared Allah as much as he can [Allah knows best]). 📚(From the book ‘What Should You Do in the Following Situations… ?’ by Majmooa Fatawi Ibn Taimiyyah) *Praying...

HE PARTOOK IN OTHER BATTLES

FAJR REMINDER: HE PARTOOK IN OTHER BATTLES  By: Umm ‘Affān Jumādā al-Ākhirah 14, 1447 (6-December-2025) During the conquest of Makkah, Khālid Ibn al-Walīd (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anhu) emerged as one of the commandants of the Muslim Army and the broader Muslim community. Khālid (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anhu) stood at a point reminiscing about his childhood and youthful memories. These reflections weighed heavily on him, filling him with remorse for the years he had devoted to worshipping lifeless and powerless idols. However, before succumbing to regret, Khālid (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anhu) was uplifted by the monumental joy that was approaching Makkah, eclipsing everything in its path. He lifted his gaze, filled with reverence, ecstasy, and satisfaction, as the flag of Islām waved on the horizon. It was narrated that he remarked to himself: “Indeed, it is a Promise of Allāh and He fails not in His Promise.” Overwhelmed with gratitude, Khālid (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anhu) thanked Allāh for guiding him to Islām and a...

GOOD DEEDS WITHOUT FAITH ALLAH (AZZAWAJAL) IS NULL AND VOID

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum As-sabt, 15th day of Jumaadal Aakhir 1447AH, Saturday, 6th December, 2025. *_GOOD DEEDS WITHOUT FAITH ALLAH (AZZAWAJAL) IS NULL AND VOID_*. BismilLah.  ALLAH Azzawajal command the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam to say to mankind in Qur'an 14:18 and I quote; “The example of those who disbelieve in their Lord is that their deeds are like ashes blown violently by the wind on a stormy day. They have no power to gain anything from what they have earned. That is extreme misguidance.” Explanation of the verse.  1. “Their deeds are like ashes…” ALLAH Azzawajal gives a powerful parable: the deeds of those who reject HIM, by not adhering to the teachings of Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam, no matter how many good works they think they have done or doing, are like ashes which have no weight, cannot be gathered, and are easily scattered. This means their deeds will not benefit them because they lack the foundation of eemaan (faith). 2. ...
