THE COLD SEASON*
[[Episode Three 3 - of - 4]]
-------------------------------------

*Men who establish fajr swalat at home for the fear of cold instead of going to the masjid:*

1⃣ Allah (swt) would have say - *"husband & wife who had intercouse in the night and does not have WARM water to purify themselves, and can not use cold water to bath janabah should WAIT until sun rises ☀ very well b4 they establish fajr swalat"* - but He (Allah) instructed them to go for *dry ablution* just to ensure that they pray fajr ontime and preferably in congregation for men.

2⃣ it is established in shareeyyah that a traveler should pray obligatory swalawat inside a moving vehicle 🚗 sitting irrespective of the direction the vehicle takes,, with or without water to perform ablution,, with or without sand or dust to perform dry ablution... All just to ensure that obligatory swalawat are not delayed for any reason.

3⃣ Allah (swt) did not say - *"Any of my servant who is sick and concious should go on vacation😀, that is they should not pray until they are ok health-wise"* - but He (Allah) instructed them to pray sitting or laydown on sick bed.

4⃣ Infact Allah (swt) commanded men not ONLY to pray ontime but to establish obligatory swalawat in congregation even in WAR fare😳. Yes.. Pls just check the TRANSLATION of *suratul - Nisa,, chapter 4 verse 102* .. Now,, If praying in congregation was something NOT SERIOUS,, it would be more appropriate for people to be excused from it at times of fear/war - [the situation referred to in this verse]

Now......

From the ABOVE 4 points i raised,, did i need to say that - "praying ontime and preferably in congregation for men is an obligation"❓No❗

*Lets call a spade a spade:*

Few people find it easy to wake up if there is a plane to catch the next morning😀, or a lucrative job interview.. Yes..  This is because we are so desirous to take that trip or get that job,, so our eyes open with vigor when it is time or we even set the alarm to wake us😀.  Some people might awaken even before the alarm, due to their anticipation.

➡ *Why some of us miss establishing fajr swalat ontime* ❓

The only reason this does not happen for Fajr is because we haven’t attached the same importance to the Hereafter as we have attached to our worldly lives.. Yes.. Our awe and sense of duty to Allah Most High might be weaker than our desire for the ephemeral things around us.

But.....

Those who are attached to Allah, however, see Fajr as more important than the rest of the day’s affairs put together, and so they find it easy to rise to worship their Lord, in submission and gratitude whether in cold weather or any season.

👉Qur'an: Al-Maa'un (107: 4 & 5)

TRANSLATION:

So woe to those who pray - [i.e. made their Swalât (prayers) to be lost, either by not offering them or by not offering them perfectly or by not offering them in their proper fixed times] and have followed lusts.. So they will be thrown in Hell. And: So woe unto those performers of Swalât (prayers) (hypocrites), Those who delay their Swalât (prayer from their stated fixed times)

➡ *Another reasons why men should not miss any obligatory swalat in congregation ESPECIALLY fajr:*

Abu Hurayrah narrated that the Messenger of Allaah (saw) said: 👉 “By the One in Whose hand is my soul, I had thought of ordering that wood be gathered, then I would command the call to prayer to be given, and I would appoint a man to lead the people in prayer, then I would go to men [who do not attend the congregational prayer] and burn their houses down around them...."
📚Al-Bukhaari, 7224; Muslim, 651.

And......

“Whoever prays the dawn prayer [Fajr], then He is under Allah’s protection.  So beware, O son of Adam, that Allah doesn’t call you to account for being absent from His protection for any reason.”
📚 [Muslim]

Therefore......

If the rewards do not convince us, once we understand the seriousness of going about our day without Allah’s protection around us for the day in which we missed Fajr in *congregation* ,, that should push us to make every effort to wake up the next morning, and keep trying, until we establish its observance as a habit.

*Men & Women who pray fajr lately anytime they wake up from sleep* - This is what EPISODE 4 of this article will address InshaaAllah.

*THE COLD SEASON*
[[Episode Four 4 - of - 4]]
-------------------------------------

*Men & Women who pray fajr lately anytime they wake up from sleep:*

The Prophet [saw] said: 👉 “The most burdensome prayers for the hypocrites (munafeek) are ‘Isha and Fajr because they prefer the comfort of sleep to prayer,, but if they only knew what they contain, they would come even if they had to crawl.”
📚[Ahmad]

Now.......

Many of us complain that we miss Swalat al-Fajr and hardly even Pray it at right time.. Some of us wake up after the sun has risen. Some complain that they try to wake up at Right time but don’t succeed.

Honestly speaking.....

Many of us are just careless about putting efforts not to miss fajr swalat by maybe sleeping early or setting the alarm clock, and if they do set the alarm,, they do not pay attention to it, because they need to sleep after staying up late for a long time or bcos they take obligatory swalat to be something to toy with.

➡ If it is established in shareeyyah that a traveler should pray obligatory swalawat inside a moving vehicle 🚗 sitting irrespective of the direction the vehicle takes,, with or without water to perform ablution,, with or without sand or dust to perform dry ablution... All just to ensure that obligatory swalawat are not delayed for any reason.. What excuse did we have to delay any obligatory swalat❓

➡ If Allah (swt) did not say - *"Any of my servant who is sick and concious should go on vacation😀, that is they should not pray until they are ok health-wise"* - but He (Allah) instructed them to pray sitting or laydown on sick bed.. What excuse did we have to delay any obligatory swalat❓

 *The Reality Of Fajr:*

And.....

The only reason this does not happen for Fajr is because we haven’t attached the same importance to the Hereafter as we have attached to our worldly lives.. Yes.. Our awe and sense of duty to Allah Most High might be weaker than our desire for the ephemeral things around us.

So they will be thrown in Hell. And: So woe unto those performers of Swalât (prayers) (hypocrites), Those who delay their Swalât (prayer from their stated fixed times)

*Some Importance of the Fajr Prayer:*

In the Qur’an, Allah Most High says:

“So establish the Prayer after the declining of the sun [from its zenith, for Dhuhr and then Asr] to the dusk of night [Maghrib and then ‘Isha] and the [Quranic]recitation of Fajr [prayer].  Indeed, the [Quranic] recitation of Fajr is witnessed.”
📚[al-Quran 17:78]

The meaning of witnessed here means that both the angels of [previous] night and the angels of the [new] morning intently listen to the Fajr prayer being recited aloud because of its great status and virtue. 📚 [al-Suyuti, Tafsir al-Jalalayn]

In addition;

“Whoever performs the Prayer before the rising of the sun [Fajr] and before its setting [‘Asr], will not enter the Hell.”
📚[Muslim]

the reward mentioned in the ABOVE hadeeth indicates that the one who regularly prays Fajr and ‘Asr can be expected to have a good ending to their life: that they die upon faith as a Muslim.. And which of us would not be eager to rise for the Fajr prayer if we truly understood the benefits: a death on faith and eternal success❓
📚 [Ibn ‘Allan, Dalil al-Faliheen]

Also......

“Whoever prays the dawn prayer in congregation, it is as if he had prayed the whole night long.”
📚(Muslim, p. 454, no. 656; al-Tirmidhi, 221).

Finally.....

Those who are attached to Allah, however, see Fajr as more important than the rest of the day’s affairs put together, and so they find it easy to rise to worship their Lord, in submission and gratitude whether in cold weather or any season.. Bcos many of us today combine by carrying-over 2, 3 or even 4 swalat.. Habbah❗

May Allah Most High make us all among those who rise and pray Fajr easily and consistently, out of joy and fear of Allah.. Ameen❗

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

One of the question asked is can a Christian enter Jannah today?

One of the question asked is can a Christian enter Jannah today? Alhamdulillah, it is clear from Quran and hadiths that any christian who dies believing Jesus is God or son of God and do not believe in prophet Muhammad Peace be Upon Him will enter hellfire. Allah says, Al-Ma'idah 5:17 They have certainly disbelieved who say that Allāh is Christ, the son of Mary. Say, "Then who could prevent Allāh at all if He had intended to destroy Christ, the son of Mary, or his mother or everyone on the earth?" And to Allāh belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them. He creates what He wills, and Allāh is over all things competent.

Friday and it's dignity. O you who have believed, when [the adhān] is called for the prayer on the day of Jumuʿah [Friday], then proceed to the remembrance of Allāh and leave trade. That is better for you, if you only knew. Friday is the best day of the week because it was the day Adam was created, the day he entered paradise and the day he was removed from paradise. it was also the day he died and the hour(qiyaamah) will not come except on this day. Sahih. It was narrated from Aws bin Aws that: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Whoever washes (ghassala) and performs ghusl, comes early to the masjid and sits near the imam and does not engage in idle talk, he will have for every step he takes (the reward of) a year's worth of good deeds, fasting it and...
