Culturally women that express interest in a man are often accused of being shameless. They are called names and even face harsh words from the parents or family.

Many women are afraid of showing interest in a man for marriage because they fear what society will say about them. Islam allows and gives women the right to choose who they want to marry. There is nothing wrong with feeling inclined towards someone. Islam provides a solution to channel your feelings in a halal and pure manner; marriage.

Narrated Sahl bin Sa'd (R.A); A woman presented herself to the Prophet S.A.W for marriage. A man said to him. “O Allah's Messenger if you are not in need of her marry her to me.” [Bukhari]

This hadith goes on longer but the point is Sisters, do not be to shy and think it to be not right for you to approach a brother for marriage. Remember one of the greatest woman in the world proposed to Prophet Muhammad S.A.W our mother Khadija (R.A).

It's not mean girls directly asking to boys about marriage they inform parents.

Note: dear sister/brother in Islam, let your Islam control your lifestyle and never let your lifestyle control your Islam!
