*The deciding factor*

We often hear of the Trials in the grave and how important the grave is in terms of our progression to Jannah in Al Akhirah, *but how important really is the grave?*
_
Uthmaan رضي الله عنه used to pass by graves and weep and the people enquired _'Ya Uthmaan why is it when Al Akhirah (Jannah, Jahannam) is mentioned you do not weep, but when you remember the graves you weep?'_ He رضي الله عنه replied *_'The grave is the first stage in Al Akhirah, if it is easy then the rest of the stages will be easy, if it is difficult and tormenting then the rest of the stages will be the same'_*
[Sunan al-Tirmidhi 2308]
_
The grave is where our Soul is tested.
Everyone will answer and what they answer depends solely on what they did in their lives.

A man who didn't worship Allah ﷻ nor did he practice Islam, how could he say My Rabb is Allah ﷻ and My Deen is Islam?

A man who strove to please his Nafs and his desires and became a slave to them, how can he say his lord was Allah?

A man who didn't strive to commit to the Sunnah of Muhammad ﷺ and who didn't make an effort to know him and love him as he should be, how will he say the man sent amongst us was Muhammad ﷺ?

We shall only be rewarded for what we strove for!
If we strove for Allah ﷻ, then with Allah ﷻ is our reward.
If we strove for worldly gain, then our reward is in that gain we made in the Dunya.
_
As Muhammad ﷺ said in one narration _'Every Deed is according to its intention, and every man shall get what he intended'_
[Sahih al-Bukhari 54, Sahih Muslim 1907]
_
We may think that the beating from Munkar and Nakir and the squeezing of the grave is something we can comprehend and match to an experience in this  Dunya, think again!

This is Al Akhirah, you cannot comprehend anything here! Don't take this issue lightly, because Every Soul shall taste death.

The only way to avoid these things is to submit to Allah ﷻ and follow Islam as it should be followed.

For the believer a window looking into Jannah will be opened and he will lie in bliss knowing what awaits him next.
The disbeliever will be shown his eternal abode in the Hellfire and he will be disgraced.
In which category do you want yourself to be in?
_
May Allah guide us and save us all.

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

Friday and it's dignity.

Friday and it's dignity. O you who have believed, when [the adhān] is called for the prayer on the day of Jumuʿah [Friday], then proceed to the remembrance of Allāh and leave trade. That is better for you, if you only knew. Friday is the best day of the week because it was the day Adam was created, the day he entered paradise and the day he was removed from paradise. it was also the day he died and the hour(qiyaamah) will not come except on this day. Sahih. It was narrated from Aws bin Aws that: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Whoever washes (ghassala) and performs ghusl, comes early to the masjid and sits near the imam and does not engage in idle talk, he will have for every step he takes (the reward of) a year's worth of good deeds, fasting it and...

The story of taqwa

The story of taqwa. Taqwa means fear of Allah. There once lived a young woman who was very beautiful lady and had all the qualities a man needed. She was well covered and oneday ,she was attacked with her families. This woman was taken away and brought to a man who was the bandits leader. As she was brought, the man wanted to sleep with her as she was so sad and in pain. As she undressed and coming to her, she said fear Allah and know death can come to you now. If you have a mother or sister like me, don't disgrace and destroy my honor for I won't forgive you  The leader immediately remembered he had a sister he loved a lot and so he quickly stopped and dressed and said to the lady, you can go.
