THE REALITIES OF DREAMS

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 5th day of Dhul Qa'adah (Friday 26th June, 2020).
*_THE REALITIES OF DREAMS_* BismilLah.

Sheikh Muhammed Saalih Al-Munaajjid mentioned in one of his articles that;
Towards the end of time, hardly any dreams will be untrue, The Prophet (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him, his family and companions) said so. “That will be because the Prophethood and its effects will be so far away in time, so the believers will be given some compensation in the form of dreams which will bring them some good news or will help them to be patient and steadfast in their faith.”
(al-Bukhaari, 6499; Muslim, 4200).

Dreams are of three types: Rahmaani (Inspiration from ALLAH), nafsaani (psychological, they come from within a person) and shaytaani (those that come from the Shaytaan). The Prophet (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) said: “Dreams are of three types: a dream from ALLAH, a dream which causes distress and which comes from the Shaytaan, and a dream which comes from what a person thinks about when he is awake, and he sees it when he is asleep.”(al-Bukhaari, 6499; Muslim, 4200).

The dreams of the Prophets are wahy (revelation) for they are protected from the Shaytaan. The Ummah is agreed upon this. This is why Ibraaheem set out to fulfil the command of ALLAH to sacrifice his son Ismaa’eel when he saw that in a dream; may peace be upon them both.
The dreams of people other than the Prophets are to be examined in the light of the clear Wahy [i.e., the Qur’aan and Sunnah]. If they are in accordance with the Qur’aan and Sunnah, all well and good; otherwise, they should not be acted upon. This is a very serious matter indeed, for many of the innovators have gone astray because of this.
Whoever wants to have true dreams should strive to speak honestly, eat halaal food, adhere to the commandments of sharee’ah, avoid that which ALLAH and HIS Messenger (peace and blessings of ALLAH h be upon him) have forbidden, sleep in a state of complete purity facing the Qiblah, and remember ALLAH until he feels his eyelids drooping. If he does all this, then his dreams can hardly be untrue be-iznillah.

The most truthful of dreams are those that are seen at the time of suhoor [just before dawn], for this is the time when ALLAH'S MERCY descends and when mercy and forgiveness are close. It is also the time when the devils are quiet, unlike the time of darkness just after sunset, when the devils and devilish souls spread out.
(See Madaarij al-Saalikeen, 1/50-52).
Please remember today is Friday as such we should remember to prepare well for it. *_May ALLAH keep guiding us all and protect us from any satanic influences_*. Aameen.

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

 DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

Friday and it's dignity.

 Friday and it's dignity. O you who have believed, when [the adhān] is called for the prayer on the day of Jumuʿah [Friday], then proceed to the remembrance of Allāh and leave trade. That is better for you, if you only knew. Friday is the best day of the week because it was the day Adam was created, the day he entered paradise and the day he was removed from paradise. it was also the day he died and the hour(qiyaamah) will not come except on this day. Sahih. It was narrated from Aws bin Aws that: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Whoever washes (ghassala) and performs ghusl, comes early to the masjid and sits near the imam and does not engage in idle talk, he will have for every step he takes (the reward of) a year's worth of good deeds, fasting it and...

The story of taqwa

 The story of taqwa. Taqwa means fear of Allah. There once lived a young woman who was very beautiful lady and had all the qualities a man needed. She was well covered and oneday ,she was attacked with her families. This woman was taken away and brought to a man who was the bandits leader. As she was brought, the man wanted to sleep with her as she was so sad and in pain. As she undressed and coming to her, she said fear Allah and know death can come to you now. If you have a mother or sister like me, don't disgrace and destroy my honor for I won't forgive you  The leader immediately remembered he had a sister he loved a lot and so he quickly stopped and dressed and said to the lady, you can go. All the bandits were amazed of what their leader did. Three days later,the man whose sister was there and everyone in the sister knew her brother was wicked man. So every man was sacred.
