*THE POWER OF QUR'AN*

*Is your heart sealed?*

Allah ﷻ says in Surah Hashr

*لَوۡ أَنزَلۡنَا هَـٰذَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ عَلَىٰ جَبَلࣲ لَّرَأَیۡتَهُۥ خَـٰشِعࣰا مُّتَصَدِّعࣰا مِّنۡ خَشۡیَةِ ٱللَّهِۚ*

_Had We sent down this Quran upon a mountain, you would have certainly seen it humbled and torn apart in awe of Allah.._

[59:21]

If this is the case with a mountain which is hard and huge, that if it was made able to comprehend and understand this Qur'an, will feel humble and crumble from fear of Allah ﷻ

Then what about you *O mankind?*

Why do your hearts not feel softness and humbleness from the fear of Allah ﷻ, not even attempting to understand or comprehend the Kalam of Allah ﷻ even though you have the ability to do so! 

*وَتِلۡكَ ٱلۡأَمۡثَـٰلُ نَضۡرِبُهَا لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمۡ یَتَفَكَّرُونَ*

_We set forth such comparisons for people, ˹so˺ perhaps they may reflect._

[59:21]

In another Ayah, Allah ﷻ asks

*أَفَلَا یَتَدَبَّرُونَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ أَمۡ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبٍ أَقۡفَالُهَاۤ*

_Do they not then reflect on the Quran? Or are there locks upon their hearts?_

[47:24]

Ask yourself, when the Qur'an is being recited and you don't know the Ayaat, do you sit there and just listen inattentively?

Don't you WANT to know what Allah ﷻ is saying?

Go upto the Imaam and ask after Salah, what were the Ayaat that were recited or go home and look them up yourself! 

But if it was music, we would feel genuine emotion!

So many of our Ummah is another level of lazy in terms of Deen, if it isn't handed to us on a plate, we don't do it.

If the act isn't easy for us or requires sacrifice and isn't beneficial in this world, we do everything to avoid it.

And when it is easy, we jump on it and we make it look like we are pious. 

The Best Deeds are the ones done in private!

Just imagine, we the same lazy people say we want to live in the times of the previous generations.

If we were alive during the time of the 3 Pious generations, would we have gone through the effort they went through?
