LET'S REMIND EACH OTHER ON HOW TO PRAISE THE PROPHET AS HE TAUGHT US TO DO

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaumul Jumuat, 26th day of Shaw'waal. (Friday, 27th of May, 2022).

*_LET'S REMIND EACH OTHER ON HOW TO PRAISE THE PROPHET AS HE TAUGHT US TO DO_*. BismilLah.

Sending blessings upon the Prophet (blessings and peace of ALLAH be upon him) is one of the greatest acts of worship encouraged in Islam, and it is one of the most beneficial supplications for a person in this world and the hereafter, and it is one of the requirements of loving, venerating and respecting the Prophet (blessings and peace of ALLAH be upon him) and giving him his rights. It's a command from ALLAH for us to do so for our own benefit not for the Prophet to benefit in anyway as he is already guranteed Jannatul Firdaus.

With regard to the ideal way of sending blessings upon the master of mankind (blessings and peace of ALLAH be upon him), there are two sunnah ways of doing that. Among the soundest and most well-known of these ways are the two format that the Prophet (blessings and peace of ALLAH be upon him) taught his Companions (may ALLAH be pleased with them) when they asked him how they should send blessings upon him. These two ways are as follows:

(A)

“Allaahumma salli alaa Muhammad wa alaa aali Muhammad kamaa swalayta alaa Ibraaheem wa alaa aali Ibraaheem, innaka hameedum majeed. Allaahumma baarik alaa Muhammad wa alaa aali Muhammad kama baarakta alaa Ibraaheem wa alaa aali Ibraaheem, innaka hameedum majeed (O ALLAH, send prayers upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad, as You sent prayers upon Ibraaheem and upon the family of Ibraaheem; You are indeed Worthy of Praise, Full of Glory. O ALLAH, send blessings upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad as You sent blessings upon Ibraaheem and upon the family of Ibraaheem; You are indeed Worthy of Praise, Full of Glory).” Narrated by al-Bukhaari (3700) and Muslim (406).

(B)

“Allaahumma swalli alaa Muhammadin wa alaa azwaajihi wa dhurriyyatihi kama swalayta alaa Ibraaheem, wa baarik alaa Muhammadin wa alaa azwaajihi wa dhurriyyatihi kama baarakta alaa aali Ibraaheem, innaka hameedun majeed (O ALLAH, send Your salaah (grace, honour and mercy) upon Muhammad and upon his wives and offspring, as You sent Your swalaah upon Ibraaheem, and send Your blessings upon Muhammad and upon his wives and offspring, as You sent Your blessings upon the family of Ibraaheem. You are indeed Praiseworthy, Most Glorious).”

Narrated by al-Bukhaari (3369) and Muslim (407).

The Prophet (blessings and peace of ALLAH be upon him) did not choose anything but that which is noblest and best. Please let's follow what the prophet taught us and its more than enough for us.

It is better to vary the phrases used, switching between the versions that have been narrated, sometimes reciting one and sometimes reciting another, so as to follow the Sunnah and sharee‘ah, and so that always reciting one version does not lead to neglecting another which is also proven. Please remember to take your pure bath(ghusul for jumuat), brush your teeth, wear nice clothing and recite suuratul Kahf Quran chapter 18 as the prophet recommended. Please recite at least 10 salawaat to the prophet today if you can't recite 100 or 1000.

*_May ALLAH accept it from us all and purify our intentions_*. Aameen.

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Thursday, 13th November, 2025.  *_HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN_*. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality, we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W) said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH Azzawajallah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will make it easy for him in the world and the hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will conceal his faults in this ALLAH Azzawajallah world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ "Muslim 2699. AlhamdulilLah.  With this I hope with immediate effect we will all strive to help each other in any possible way such as making dua for each other, supporting our relatives and those in need in ou...

THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm athalaatha, 3rd day of Rabeeul Awwal 1447AH, Tuesday, 26th August 2025. *_THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF_*. BismilLah.  Islam encourages Muslims in general to stand out among people, readily distinguishable by their dress, appearance and behaviour, so that they will be a good example, worthy of the great message that they bring to humanity. According to the hadith narrated by the great Sahabi Ibn al-Hanzaliyyah, the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam ) told his Companions, when they were travelling to meet some brothers in faith: "You are going to visit your brothers, so repair your saddles and make sure that you are dressed well, so that you will stand out among people like an adornment, for ALLAH (SWT) does not love ugliness." Reported by Imam Abu Dawud, 4/83, in Kitab al-libas, bab ma ja'a fi isbal al-izar. The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) considered an unkempt and careless appearance, and scruffy clothes and furnishings, to be...
