Allah ﷻ says in Surah Luqman Ayah 33

_Oh Mankind! Fear your Lord!_

Addressing everyone!

_and beware of a Day when no parent will be of any benefit to their child, nor will a child be of any benefit to their parent._

Which means, even if he wanted to offer himself as a sacrifice for his son, it would not be accepted from him. The same will apply in the case of a son who wants to sacrifice himself for his father. It will not be accepted from him.

_Indeed, the promise of Allah is truth_

_So then don't let the life of this world deceive you_

Meaning, do not let your feelings of contentment with this life make you forget about the Hereafter.

_nor let the chief deceiver deceive you about Allah._

[31:33]

Referring to the Shaytaan and his false promises.

_

This reminds us, we must fear Allah ﷻ in private as much as we are in public.

_

It starts with our intentions and that we must rectify them, and not let this life and Shaytaan deceive us, by making fame and adulation beloved to us.

_

It ends with our 'Amal, good or bad!

When we are in private, we must take extra care to avoid bad deeds and to have Taqwa.

And we must also take extra care in our good deeds and to not underperform in them just because we think we are alone, and we should take care not to expose them at the first opportunity.

_

Failure in these things results in a lack of sincerity

And also a lack of reward.

As Prophet ﷺ said

_Every Deed is according to its intentions._

[Bukhari & Muslim]

_

Don't let Shaytaan deceive you about your 'Amal and don't let the Dunya mess up your intentions.

_

Because the most horrifying thing we could imagine on Qiyamah, is coming with mountains of good deeds, but all of it is wasted because there is no reward left with Allah ﷻ due to insincerity.

_

And we should remember

that the best deeds are those done in secret and for the sake of Allah ﷻ !

_

It yields the best reward!

May Allah ﷻ purify our intention, grant us Taqwa, forgive our shortcomings and bless our affairs.

GIVE CHARITY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Ath-thalaatha. 28th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Tuesday 7th May 2024). *_GIVE CHARITY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD_*. Aameen.  Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: The Prophet (SallallahuAlaihiWasallam) said, "Charity is obligatory everyday on every joint of a human being.* If one helps a person in matters concerning his riding animal by helping him to ride on it or by lifting his luggage on to it, all these will be regarded as charity. A good word, and every step one takes to offer the compulsory congregational prayer is regarded as charity; and guiding somebody on the road is regarded as charity." [Sahih Al-Bukhari, 4/2891]. To show gratitude to ALLAH for keeping your body safe and sound, you should give in charity or do charitable deeds. Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: ALLAH'S Messenger (sallallahuAlaihiWasallam) said, "The strong is not the one who overcomes the people by his strength, but the strong is the one w

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will p
