*Preparing for the Real Success*

_Jabir b. Abdullah رضي الله عنه reported that Allah's Apostle ﷺ happened to walk through the bazar coming from the side of 'Aliya and the people were on his both sides. There he found a dead lamb with very short ears. He took hold of his ear and said:_

_"Who amongst you would like to have this for a dirham?"_

_They said: "We do not like to have it even for less than that as it is of no use to us."_

_He said: "Do you wish to have it ?"_

_They said: "By Allah, even if it were alive we would not have liked to have that for there is defect in it as its ear is very short; now it is dead also. "_

Thereupon Allah's Messenger ﷺ said:

*فوالله لدنيا أهون على الله من هذا عليكم*

_*"By Allah, this world is more insignificant in the eye of Allah than it is in your eye.*"_

[Sahih Muslim 2957]

On the other hand

In Jannah, is that which no eye has seen, no ear has heard, no heart is able to perceive.

This is the comparison between The Dunya we chase and the Jannah we neglect.

Allah ﷻ says:

*كَلَّا بَلْ تُحِبُّونَ ٱلْعَاجِلَةَ*

_Nay! Rather you love the present life._

*وَتَذَرُونَ ٱلْءَاخِرَةَ*

_And you neglect the hereafter._

[75:20-21]

_

Even though numerous times Allah ﷻ pointed out its fatal flaw, and reminded us that Jannah is waiting.

Like

_And the life of this world is nothing except play and amusement, and the abode of the hereafter is better for those with Taqwa, will you not reason?_

[6:32]

It's fatal flaw being is it being temporary!

_

Yet we continue to exchange that which is priceless for that which is worth less than a dead goat!

_

So will we not use our 'Aql (intellect)?

_

Turn back to Allah ﷻ and prepare for the real success, in the hereafter!

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

The questions of the grave?

The questions of the grave? Alhamdulillah, every Muslim should have belief that there is questions in the grave. As reported in hadith of the trials of the grave like that of the dajjal Two angels that will appear to. Person, Munkar and Nakir As reported in hadith, It was narrated form Al Bara bin Azib that the Prophet said: Allah will keep firm those who believe, with the world that stands firm in this world, and in the Hereafter. This was revelated concerning the torment in the grave. It will be said to him (the deceased: 'Who is your Lord?' and he will say: 'My Lord isAllah and my Prophet is Muhammad. That is what is (the meaning of) His saying: Allah will keep firm those who believe, with the word that stands firm in this world, and in the Hereafter". Sunan an-Nasa'i 2057. Abd Allah (b. Mas’ud) told that when the evening came, the prophet (May peace be upon him) would say: we have come to the evening, and in the evening the dominion belongs to Allah: “Praise b...

As Time passes

╔✽̤̥̈̊‎ As Time passes ✽̤̈̊╗ Abdullah bin Mas’ud & said: “Indeed I hate to see a man idle, neither working for this world nor for the Hereafter.”  Hasan Basri sé said: “O son of Adam, indeed you are only but a number of days.
