 *What I Have Learnt*

[Episode 3 - of - 60]

------------------------------

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

الحـمد لله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله وعلى آلـه وصحبه ومن والاه

The Muslim has to control his tongue and not speak unless he says something good.. Infact,, one of the best virtues in Islam is to be *highly aware of speaking outcome*; In essence, a tongue might be a cause to go to Paradise or Hellfire.

Now,

From the hadeeth:

Abu Hurairah (ra) reported: The Prophet (saw) said, *"He who believes in Allah and the Last Day must either speak good or remain silent."*📚[Muslim].

Servants Of Allah!

Silence is wisdom, especially if there's no good words to say. Nowadays people tend to say anything for the sake of speaking, a few of them know that silence is one of the good deeds that will be heavy on the scale, as if you remain silent you will save your self from falling into a sin. Allah (swt) say:

مَّا يَلْفِظُ مِن قَوْلٍ إِلَّا لَدَيْهِ رَقِيبٌ عَتِيدٌ

"Not a word does he (or she) utter but there is a watcher by him ready (to record it).’' 📚 [50:18]

Oh My People!

It is also vital to know why silence is  preferred when there's no good words to say, as our tongue will trap us into backbiting, falling into speaking about others in bad intentions and say things that might cause regret later on.. On this,

Abu Hurairah (RA) said: - The Messenger of Allah (saw) said, *"Do you know what is backbiting?" The Companions said: "Allah and His Messenger know better." Thereupon he said, "Backbiting is talking about your (Muslim) brother/sister in a manner which he dislikes if he/she heard about it." It was said to him: "What if the person is as I say." He said, "If he/she is actually as you say, then that is backbiting; but if that is not in him/her, that is slandering."* 📚 Muslim

And,

Each day, all the other body parts of your body ask the tongue to fear Allah the Almighty in them.

Evidence:

Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudri (RA) reported: - The Messenger of Allah (saw) has said, 👉 “When the son of Adam wakes up, *all of his body parts defer to the tongue and say: fear Allah concerning us, we are only part of you; if you are upright, then we are upright; but if you are crooked, then we are crooked.”* 📚 [Sunan At-Tirmidhi, Book of Asceticism].

So,

The importance of becoming aware of the tongue, as if only goodness coming out of it then, the other body parts will follow and if it's the opposite then, they tend to follow as well.

Therefore,

*"Speak Good or Remain Silent"* - and the advice we should take from the mentioned ahadeehs include.........

Allah alone knows best.

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

The questions of the grave?

The questions of the grave? Alhamdulillah, every Muslim should have belief that there is questions in the grave. That is what is (the meaning of) His saying: Allah will keep firm those who believe, with the word that stands firm in this world, and in the Hereafter". Sunan an-Nasa'i 2057. Abd Allah (b.
