*The Arrival of Death*

*يا اخي*

_Oh my brother_

*تذكر اذا نزل بك هادم اللذات*

_Remember when descending upon you is the destroyer of pleasures,_

*و مفرق الجماعات*

_And the disperser of gatherings,_

*تذكر و انت تنظر الى هذه الدنيا آخر النظرات*

_Remember when you will look at this Dunya with the last glances,_

*تذكر إذا ثقل منك اللسان*

_Remember when the tongue will become heavy_

*و بردت القدمان*

_And the feet will become cold_

*و خرس اللسان*

_And the tongue will be muted_

*و شخصت العينان*

_And the eyes will be fixed in horror_

*تذكر و انت تنظر الى هذه الدنيا آخر النظرات*

_Remember when you will look at this Dunya with the last glances_

 *الله أكبر*

Allah ﷻ says in the glorious Qur'an,

*كُلُّ نَفْسٍۢ ذَآئِقَةُ ٱلْمَوْتِ ۗ*

_Every soul shall taste death._

[3:185]

And Allah ﷻ says 

*وَٱتَّقُوا۟ يَوْمًۭا تُرْجَعُونَ فِيهِ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ ۖ*

_And fear a day in which you are returned to Allah_

[2:281]

_

And Allah ﷻ says 

 *وَمَا تَدْرِى نَفْسٌۢ بِأَىِّ أَرْضٍۢ تَمُوتُ*

_And a soul does not know which land it will die in_

[31:34]

_

Oh Walking Corpse! 

Nothing of the unseen is known with certainty to you except that you will die!

But you don't know where, when or how you will die! 

_

Oh you who will be returned to the dust! 

Death comes swiftly at its appointed time,

Decide quickly whether you want your last breath to be in a state of Imaan, Worship and Obedience!

Or in a state of Kufr, Disgrace and disobedience! 

Whether You want your death place to be pure!

Or a place of impurity, of disgrace! 

Whether you want your soul to be extracted softly and to the sound of glad tidings!

Or whether you want to enter the hereafter harshly to the beatings of Angels and to the curses of angels! 

_

Prophet ﷺ said 

*اكثروا ذكر هاذم اللذات*

_Increase remembrance of the destroyer of pleasures_

*يعني الموت*

_Meaning 'Death'_

[Sunan al-Tirmidhī 2307,  Grade: Sahih]

_

Remember Death, for it will rip you from the arms of your loved ones! 

From the embrace of your Dunya! 

And towards the embrace of the grave! 

Towards its trials and its subsequent squeezing! 

_

Ya Ibn Adam! How much time have you wasted? How have you got left? Will you still remain heedless towards Allah ﷻ?

_

Ya Ibn Adam! How many are below the ground on which you walk, scream for the chance to be in your place, so that they may  do a good deed or say الحمد الله just once more..
