بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
الحـمد لله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله وعلى آلـه وصحبه ومن والاه
The religion of Islam views man as an individual and a part of the society. Hence, Islam does not look at only personal and individual success; rather, it wishes for the collective success of the entire society.. Yes.. Islam teaches to love for others what we love for our own selves.
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “None of you will *have faith* until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself.” 📚Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 13, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 45
Now,
Tips on Learning How to Love for Others What You Love for Yourself - CONTINUATION of episode one as promised
1⃣ Never Wish Evil on Others
When you find yourself secretly wishing bad things for someone else, don’t allow it to be in you! Keep saying *a’oodhu billaahi mina shaytwani rawjeem* , because it is probably from Satan. And Just like any other evil feeling, we have to keep trying to expel it. Yes. Hasad/Envy is just like any other evil feeling.
2⃣ Don’t Exploit Other People’s Flaws
Some people see flaws in others and instead of hoping for them to improve, they put the person down further in order to feel better😀. This is common among co-wives and some bad neighbours. This is a disease of the heart❤, wanting to see others to do bad in order to feel better yourself
Oh My People!
When you see flaws in others, try to help them fix their problems secretly or even without them knowing about it,, advice them gently, offer help in reconciling between people and love for that person to grow closer to Allah.
3⃣ Share your Blessings:
Allah says: *"The believers are nothing else than brothers..."* 📚(Quran chapter 49 verse 10)
So,
If you have anything good and benefiting, share it with others who need it too. Yes. Money, food, anything, *even Islamic knowledge or islamic beneficial messages* . Yes, wish for others to have that knowledge and rewards as well.
Now,
Another important lesson from this hadeeth is that,, just like we love being guided as Muslims, we wish *rewards and guidance* for others too.. And this is why *we do sometimes call on people to support the propagation of online daawah in anyway they could* . Yes. As the writer of this reminder,, It doesn't remove my rewards of calling to goodness *(even by half)* if every member of my Whatsapp or Telegram group have supported us in what we do here *(ie - sending DAILY REMINDERS to millions of ummah worldwide)*
4⃣ Homework: Make Du’a
Making Du'a for someone secretly is a PASSWORD to getting ur own Du'a answered 😳. Yes. But on condition that, u do not go broadcasting it directly or indirectly to the person or anyone.
It's established in an automatic hadeeth: *"Verily your Lord is Generous and Shy.. If Allah's servant raises his hands in supplication,, He (Allah) becomes shy to return them empty”* 📚Ahmad, Abu Dawood, Tirmidhi
SubhanAllah!!!
We often forget how humbling the experience of making dua truly is. We forget how precious this time is and even when we do make dua,, we often forget to remember others😀. Unconsciously,, we become so caught up with ourselves.
The Prophet (saw) reminded us that *“The supplication of a Muslim for his brother in his absence will certainly be answered. Every time he/she makes a supplication for good for his/her brother,, the angel appointed for this particular task says: “Ameen!!! May it be for you too,”* 📚Muslim, 1494
Now,
Another important thing i want us to reminded about is - *"speaking a good word or remaining silent"*. Actually, the Muslim has to control his tongue and not speak unless he says something good.. Infact,, one of the best virtues in Islam is to be *highly aware of speaking outcome* ; In essence.......

Allah alone knows best.
