 *Interest-Free Loans* [[---Episode Six---]] -------------------------------- *Final Episode* بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم For refusing to pay back loans, the people who have not have made the people who have money, to be weeked by refusing to render help to the genuine borrowers who have intentions to pay back.. And the manner in which Islam encourages those who have enough wealth to give interest free loans to those who request it,, the same way Islam encourages the beneficiaries of the loan (ie - borrowers) to fulfill their promises of paying back ontime and in full. Although, When it comes to payment date but the borrower is GENUINELY in difficulty or short of money and asks for some time, if the lenders give him times, then, for ever each day the payment is delayed, the lender will get the reward of giving sadaqah.  The muslims and who should we take as role models?  Allah says,  And we have verily in the life of the messenger an exemplary life for anyone who believe in Allah and the last day.  Surah Ahzab 33;21. Anyone who claims to be a believer and believes in Allah and the last day should take the prophet as role model. The best example for humanity. Evidence: Abu Huraira (ra) reported: The prophet (PBUH) said, *“Among the signs of a hypocrite are three, even if he fasts and prays and claims to be a Muslim: when he speaks he lies, when he gives a promise he breaks it, and when he is trusted he betrays.”* 📚Source: S‌ah‌i‌h‌ al-Bukha‌ri‌ 33, S‌ah‌i‌h‌ Muslim 59 In the same vein, When somebody gives loan of say - 5,000Naira and the due date has come but the debtor asks for time because he is in difficulty.  *The Da’wah of Isa* _(AS)_ When Isa AS was around twelve, certain incidents happened, initiated by the king at the time, which necessitated he and his mother Maryam AS to flee Jerusalem and seek refuge in Egypt (and according to some less popular accounts, Damascus). Isa AS grew up in a life of frugality, having with him the minimum of possessions and worldly attachments. As with all Prophets and Messengers, he displayed the utmost of good manner and morals.  Story to reflect.  The hadith on Amanah and justice.  Abu Huraira reported God’s Messenger as saying, “A man of those who were before your time bought some real estate from another, and the buyer found in what he had bought a jar containing gold. The buyer told the other to take his gold from him as he had bought from him only the property and had not bought the gold from him, but the man who had sold the land said he had sold him the land and its contents. They brought the matter before another for decision and he asked whether they had any children. When one said he had a boy and the other said he had a girl, he told them to marry the boy to the girl and spend* some of the gold on them and givesadaqa.” *While the dual has been used with reference to the two men, the plural is used for “marry" and “spend’’.  The dangers of intentionally missing the prayers.  Allah says,  Verily the prayers is enjoined by believers at its stated times  Surah 4;103. A believer is required to pray at the right time and not anything.  As reported in the hadith,  A man came and asked the messenger of Allah peace be upon him saying,  Which deed is the beloved in the sight of Allah?  The prophet PBUH said,  To pray at its stated times.  The man asked, Next?  The Prophet said to be dutiful to one's parents.  The man asked next?  The prophet said to perform jihad for the sake of Allah.  Adab ul Mufrad.  Intentionally leaving the prayer is a sign of hypocrites and even if one observes it later is not accepted.  And such peoples have punishment on the day of qiyaamah.  Allah says in Quran,  Maryam 19:59 فَخَلَفَ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِمْ خَلْفٌ أَضَاعُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَٱتَّبَعُوا۟ ٱلشَّهَوَٰتِۖ فَسَوْفَ يَلْقَوْنَ غَيًّا  But there c...

I am a Servant to the Creator,  ALLAH, so refer to me as ‘God’s slave or servant and a Messenger.''
