 DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-khamis, 16th day of Ramadhan, 1447AH, Thursday, 5th March, 2026. *_TAFSEER OF SUURAH ASH-SHARH (QUR’AN 94) WITH SOME PRACTICAL LESSONS FOR DAILY LIFE continues_*. BismilLah. Let's continue from yesterday's reminder on the last verses 7 & 8 of Qur’an 94. Verse 7. فَإِذَا فَرَغْتَ فَانصَبْ So when you have finished (your duties), strive (in worship). Meaning: When you finish dunya tasks → stand in worship. When you finish one good deed → move to another. Islam doesn’t promote spiritual laziness. Ramadan teaches productive worship: After iftar → Maghrib. After Maghrib → Qur’an. After ‘Isha → Taraweeh. After Taraweeh → Tahajjud (if possible). Momentum matters. Verse 8.  وَإِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَارْغَبْ And to your LORD alone turn your longing.This is powerful. Not: Turn to people, NOT Turn to status. NOT Turn to money.  FAJR REMINDER: CHANGE FOR THE BETTER!  By: Umm Affān Ramaḍān 16, 1447 (5-March-2026) Sadly, some individuals among us display a remarkable fear of Allāh during the day in Ramaḍān, yet immediately after breaking their fast, they revert to sinful behaviors that they neglected during the daylight hours. It is important to recognize that what is Ḥarām (forbidden) during the day in Ramaḍān remains Ḥarām during the night. Fornication, adultery, masturbation, the consumption of intoxicants, backbiting, slandering, and any other sins are prohibited in Ramaḍān, both during the day and the night, just as they are in all other months. Our consciousness of Allāh should guide us throughout our lives, without allowing ourselves a moment to transgress His Boundaries.  FAJR REMINDER: MAKE IT COUNT! By: Umm Affān Ramaḍān 15, 1447 (4-March-2026) During Ramaḍān, you may notice that even those Muslims who don’t typically pray in the Masjid are motivated to do so. This month is recognized as a time for sincere worship, where we strive to draw nearer to Allāh. It serves as an opportunity to passionately supplicate, engage in Istighfar, and sincerely abandon sins. To truly embrace the essence of this fasting month and achieve excellence, let us deepen our relationship with the Qur’ān through abundant recitation—especially at night—listening to its recitation, and participating in Tafsīr sessions. The Prophet Muḥammad (ﷺ) would routinely review the Qur’ān during Ramaḍān, sitting in front of his teacher, Angel Jibreel (‘Alayhi Salām). Ibn ‘Abbās (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anhuma) remarked that: “...He (i.e. the Prophet ﷺ) would meet him every night during Ramaḍān and recite the Qur’ān to him...” [Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 1902, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2308] So, who are we to r...

BismilLah.  This beautiful short suurah is a message of comfort from ALLAH Azzawajal to our beloved Prophet ﷺ, and also to every believer who feels burdened, overwhelmed, or exhausted. Especially in Ramadan, its message hits deep. بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ Verse 1. أَلَمْ نَشْرَحْ لَكَ صَدْرَكَ “Did I (ALLAH) not expand for you your chest?” This refers to: Spiritual clarity, Strength, patience and Peace despite difficulty. When ALLAH Azzawajal expands our chest, problems don’t disappear but our heart becomes bigger than the problem. Fasting trains the heart. The hunger softens us. The Qur’an opens us. By: Umm Affān Ramaḍān 14, 1447 (3-March-2026) Undoubtedly, the fundamental principles and significance of interacting with others were eloquently conveyed by our beloved Prophet Muḥammad (ﷺ). Social cohesion and behavior play a crucial role in human existence. The foundation of good character in our interactions is primarily to refrain from causing harm, annoyance, or inconvenience to others. Consequently, any action that harms or troubles others without justifiable reason is deemed a negative act, deviating from the Sunnah of the Prophet (ﷺ). When asked about the actions that facilitate entrance to Paradise, the Prophet (ﷺ) responded: “God-fearing (i.e. Taqwā) and good character.” [Sunan At-Tirmidhī 2004] He also stated: “And among the most perfect of believers are those best in character...” [Sunan At-Tirmidhī 2612] Ramaḍān is recognized as a month of immense compassion, during which kindness is encouraged and significant rewards are attainable...

 🌷*How to benefit in Ramadhaan even during menses*🌷 by Asma bint Shameem I see many sisters, who are ma sha' Allaah, very enthusiastic about their prayers, duas and Ibaadah during the month of Ramadhaan. But, come their time for menses, it's like someone turned their switch 'off'. They completely stop all forms of worship and think that their menses is a reason to take a 'vacation' from remembering Allaah.... totally. They start spending their time shopping, watching TV or just doing other stuff, just because they are 'on it', although previously they were very eager to spend their time remembering Allaah. And then, there are some of my sisters, who are genuinely very distraught and feel kind of deprived and sad and so helpless that they cannot pray or fast during these days.  *Why many Muslims at the masjid they prolonged their Qunoot Du'a and also recite it melodiously?* As Salamu alaikum my dear brothers and sisters in Islam, wallahi I've seen many masājid are prolonging their Qunoot Du'a and reciting it melodiously as they are reciting Quran.
