IT IS NOT COMPULSORY

*IT IS NOT COMPULSORY*
*-----------------*
*-----------------*

*I used this phrase as the heading of this message bcos,,, this is the EXACT phrase iblis/shaytan is using to convince 97% of ummah (Muslims) about standing to pray at night (Tahajjud).*

*Alhamdulillah for the gift of our beloved prophet Muhammad SAW... He was instructed by Allah SWA to revive some parts in the night to observe prayers and recite Qur'an. (Suratul muzammil).*

*If the prophet Muhammad SAW who is not committing any SIN is instructed to observe night prayers,, what about ME and YOU???.*

*Majority of ummah (Muslims) today believe that,, observing 5 obligatory prayers daily is OK, and they don't need to sacrifice FEW MINUTES AT NIGHT everyday to worship Allah SWA (while others are sleeping)... BUT, who told u that, ur 5 daily obligatory prayers {{filled with distractions}} is Ok/accepted???*
*-------------------*

*There is difference between continuous assessment and examination. Yes, I know this.*

*Ur 5 daily obligatory prayers is EXAMINATION and Tahajjud (night prayers) is CONTINUOUS ASSESSMENT.*

*Q U E S T I O N*
*------------------*
*How many students will pass examination with good grade without the help of continuous assessment???*

*Only 5% or even less than 5% will pass examination without the help of continuous assessment. I am very sure of this statistics.*
*-------------------*

*Don't be deceived by ur mind or iblis that,,, standing at night in prayers is not compulsory. Yes,,, it is not compulsory. BUT it is very very necessary.*
*-------------------*

*B4 I mention few benefits of standing at night in prayers,,, I will like us to reflect on the following verses from the glorious Qur'an::--*

*Suratul Al-Muzzammil (Folded in Garments)*

*O you wrapped in garments (i.e. Prophet Muhammad SAW)!*

*Stand (to pray) all night, except a little.*

ﻧِﺼْﻔَﻪُ ﺃَﻭِ ﺍﻧﻘُﺺْ ﻣِﻨْﻪُ ﻗَﻠِﻴﻠًﺎ

*Half of it - or subtract from it a little*

*Or a little more; and recite the Quran (aloud) in a slow, (pleasant tone and style.*
*-----------------*

*In another verse, Allah says::--*

*Their sides forsake their beds, to invoke their Lord in fear and hope, and they spend out of what We have bestowed on them*
 *(32:16).*
*------------------*

*In another verse,Allah said::--*

*And in some parts of the night offer the Salah with it (the Qur'an), as an additional prayer for you. It may be that your Lord will raise you to Maqam Mahmud.*
 *(17:79)*
*----------------*

*In another verse, Allah says::--*

*O you wrapped up! Stand all night, except a little.*
*------------------*

*Hmmnnnn...{{And we spend hours chatting BUT can not sacrifice JUST 20minutes for Tahajjud}}.*

*If the prophet Muhammad SAW who is not committing SINS is instructed to be standing up at night to pray,,, then, ME & U should take it as more serious as people tagged it... NOT COMPULSORY. {{Nawafil/voluntary}}.*
*------------------*

*FEW BENEFITS*

*Each time u wake up while others are sleeping to worship Allah::--*

*1.. U are loved and pulled closer to Allah SWA;*

*2.. Angels register ur name among those who revive that night worshiping Allah SWA;*

*3.. Ur SINS will be forgiven and DU'A made accepted;*

*4.. U will wake up the following morning with all ur affairs brighten up with Allah's NOOR (light);*

*7.. No matter the bundles of worries, troubles, discomfort etc etc. It will be InshaaAllah be over with TAHAJJUD (praying at night);*

*-------------------*

*TIPS TO SUCCEED*

*-- Strike a deal between ur heart and soul to be waking up every night to pray Tahajjud. Even if it is going to be JUST 20minutes. This is not too much to be given.*

*-- Set Alarm to be waking you up everyday for Tahajjud.*

*-- Make it a HABIT to be waking up everyday for Tahajjud. Allah SWA love CONSISTENCY in any act of IBADAH. So do it everyday.*

*-- If it is 20minutes u will be able to spend every night to worship Allah SWA, and u will maintain it for a long time, may be 2years without missing out one night,,, it is better. Allah SWA is interested in consistency.*

*-- U can always go back to sleep each time u are done with Tahajjud b4 subhi/fajr prayer time. This will enable u to GAIN strength b4 fajr/subhi prayer.*

*-- Incase of health condition,,, if u can not pray Tahajjud standing, pray sitting. If u can not perform ablution, do Tayyamam (dry ablution)... Atleast, u should not allow any reason to CUT YOU OFF from the benefits and rewards of standing at night for Tahajjud.*

*-- Do Tahajjud JUST to please Allah SWA.*

*So that together, we use our phones to get closer to Allah SWA.*

*DON'T FORGET TO SHARE THIS TO UR CONTACTS FOR THE SAKE OF ALLAH*

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Thursday, 13th November, 2025.  *_HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN_*. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality, we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W) said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH Azzawajallah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will make it easy for him in the world and the hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will conceal his faults in this ALLAH Azzawajallah world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ "Muslim 2699. AlhamdulilLah.  With this I hope with immediate effect we will all strive to help each other in any possible way such as making dua for each other, supporting our relatives and those in need in ou...

THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm athalaatha, 3rd day of Rabeeul Awwal 1447AH, Tuesday, 26th August 2025. *_THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF_*. BismilLah.  Islam encourages Muslims in general to stand out among people, readily distinguishable by their dress, appearance and behaviour, so that they will be a good example, worthy of the great message that they bring to humanity. According to the hadith narrated by the great Sahabi Ibn al-Hanzaliyyah, the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam ) told his Companions, when they were travelling to meet some brothers in faith: "You are going to visit your brothers, so repair your saddles and make sure that you are dressed well, so that you will stand out among people like an adornment, for ALLAH (SWT) does not love ugliness." Reported by Imam Abu Dawud, 4/83, in Kitab al-libas, bab ma ja'a fi isbal al-izar. The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) considered an unkempt and careless appearance, and scruffy clothes and furnishings, to be...
