*around when a small dog barks*
*That`s not being proud — it’s about priorities! To turn around in this case is to be distracted. In the pursuit of our big dreams, many little things will try to distract us. It would always be up to us to choose whether to stay focused or be distracted. There will also be people who will try to drag us along their life of mediocrity. Again, it will be up to us to choose whether to continue on our path to greatness or be derailed from it. Always choose to be focused! In doing so, they will bark at us i.e. criticise us. But that should not discourage us. The secret is that while they outwardly criticize and chastise us, inwardly they respect and admire our resolve. Of course, pride will not let them admit it. But it's the truth! One of the main reason why many people are unable to reach their goals or fulfil their dreams is because they allow themselves to be easily distracted by things that either don't matter or things they don't have any control over. So have a dogged determination. Soldier on. If you turn around every time a dog barks, you will never reach your destination in time. Remember, dogs bark out of fright and not might. Be unmoved!*
