*DEATH*
Remembering our own death is a sign of consciousness of Allah. Sometimes it is encouraged to sit and reflect on your death. How it will occur, where it will occur, will there be janaza, how you will be placed in the grave, what happens when everyone leaves, what happens to the people you left behind, then for how long will you lie in there before the day of Qiyamah, what will happen on that day, with whom will you be resurrected, will you be able to cross the sirat, with which hand will you receive your book of records, who did you cheated that needs compensation, who had cheated you, will you get to jannah, or it is hell for you, if it is hell, for how long will you stay in it, if it is jannah, will you see the Prophet, will you see Allah, and lastly, how will the life continue in Jannah.
Those are questions we should always contemplate in our minds. Such questions strengthen your faith in Allah and prevent you from haram or hurting others and remain conscious of your limits. Above all, reflecting on those questions is rewardful. Allah rewards people who do tadabbur. Just by sitting down and reflecting about the creation of the heavens, the night, the day, the moons, the stars, the animals, the insects, the oceans etc, Allah rewards you.
To this end I must say, May Allah ta'alah guide us, may Allah have mercy on us, may Allah grant us goodness in this world and the next, may Allah ta'alah prevent us from crossing the limits, may Allah ta'alah choose the best ending for us, may Allah ta'alah make us from those who will die uttering La'ilaha illallah Muhammadur rasulillah SAW. Amin ya rabbil alamin. O Allah forgive our parents and grant them ease in their graves and admit them in Jannah, and grant us the best reunion with them in Jannah. Amin thumma amin.
