*I dare say that the most important thing in this world is truth. Without truth we do not know the value of anything. Whether or not we are wise is ultimately shown in our attitude towards the truth. Truth means more than fact. In fact truth is not fact. Facts can change but truth is changeless. Truth is not relative as many think. If truth is relative then the statement itself "truth is relative" is also relative. How do we measure or judge anything if there is no such thing as absolute truth? If there was no such thing as absolute truth, there will be no such thing as a lie and by extension no such persons as liars. What standard will you use to say that a person is a liar? Truth is absolute and can be expressed in relative terms. That said, of all truths the truth about our selves is the most critical. Without admission of the truth about our own lives our speaking the truth to others is but an act of hypocrisy. And by not knowing or willing to know the truth about ourselves, we make ourselves candidates for self-deception. Love truth even if it hurts you, and hate lies even if they help you. This is because the end of truth is freedom and the end of lies is futility. Love truth in every area pertaining to your life. Be undented!*
