*The Levels of Paradise*


Evidence that Paradise has various levels and its inhabitants will be in different categories:


The Prophet (Salallahu Alayhi Wasalam) said, narrated by al-Bukhaari from Abu Hurayrah 

(Radi-Allahu Anhu), "...Paradise has one hundred levels which Allah has reserved for the mujaahideen who fight in His Cause and the distance between each of the two grades is like the distance between the heavens and the earth. So when you ask Allah for something, 

ask for al-Firdaws which is the best and highest part of Paradise. Above it is the throne of the Most Merciful, and from it originate the rivers of Paradise". [al-Bukhaari in as-Saheeh, 

Kitaab al-Jihaad, Baab Darajat al-Mujaahideen fi Sabeelillaah, Fath al-Baari, 6/11]


al-Bukhaari also reports from Anas (Radi-Allahu Anhu) that Umm Harithah (Radi-Allahu 

Anha) came to the Prophet (Salallahu Alayhi Wasalam) when her son Harithah (Radi-Allahu 

Anhu) had been martyred at Badr, killed by an arrow. She said, "O Messenger of Allah, you 

know how dear Harithah was to my heart. If he is in Paradise, I will not weep over him, but 

if he is not there, you will see what I do". He said, "Is there only one Paradise? There are many Paradises and he is in al-Firdaws, the Highest." [Saheeh al-Bukhaari, Kitaab ar-

Alhamdulillah, it is clear from Quran and hadiths that any christian who dies believing Jesus is God or son of God and do not believe in prophet Muhammad Peace be Upon Him will enter hellfire. Allah says, Al-Ma'idah 5:17 They have certainly disbelieved who say that Allāh is Christ, the son of Mary. Say, "Then who could prevent Allāh at all if He had intended to destroy Christ, the son of Mary, or his mother or everyone on the earth?"  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm al-khamis, 20th day of Swafar 1447AH, Thursday, 14th August 2025. *_PURIFICATION OF THE HEART_*. BismilLah.  A sister asked me yesterday how we can purify ourselves to achieve the immense benefits mentioned in our reminder yesterday.  The command to purify our hearts from sins was an essential Islamic teaching ever since the early stages of the revelation in Mecca. This is known as “purification of the soul” (tazkiyyat an-nafs).   ALLAH Azzawajal says: He has succeeded who purifies the soul, and he has failed who corrupts the soul. Surah Ash-Shams 91:9-10. Also, ALLAH Azzawajal says: A day when there will be no benefit in wealth or children, but only in he who comes to ALLAH Azzawajal with a pure heart.
