THE HAPPIEST WOMAN IN THE WORLD* (A TREASURE CHEST OF REMINDERS) Episode 65

﷽ *THE HAPPIEST WOMAN IN THE WORLD* (A TREASURE CHEST OF REMINDERS) Episode 65 *THE ULTIMATE HONOUR AND INFINITE GENEROSITY* "And stay in your houses..." [Qur'an 33:33] By Byzantines captured some of the Muslim women, and al-Mansūr ibn 'Ammār heard the news. They said to him: "Why don't you go and sit near the caliph and urge the people to attack?" So he went and sat near the caliph, Harūn ar-Rashīd, in ar-Raqqah, near Damascus. Whilst Shaykh Mansūr was urging people to fight in jihād (fighting for the sake of Allāh), a tied-up bundle with a letter attached was thrown to him. Mansūr opened the letter and in it he read: "I am a woman from among the Arab clans. I heard what the Byzantines did to the Muslim women, and I heard that you are urging the people to attack. I looked for the most honourable thing on my body, and it was my two braids, so I cut them off and wrapped them in this bundle. I urge you by Almighty Allāh to make them into a bridle for

﷽ *Ar-Raheeq Al-Makhtum (The Sealed Nectar).* Excellent Biography of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ Episode 79 *THE MILITARY ACTIVITIES BETWEEN BADR AND UHUD* The battle of Badr was the first armed encounter between the Muslims and Quraish. It was in fact a decisive battle that gained the Muslims a historic victory acknowledged by all the Arabs, and dealt a heavy blow to the religious and economic interests of the polytheists. There were also the Jews who  also used to regard each . Islamic victory as a heavy blow to their religioeconomic entity. Both parties were burning with rage and fury since the Muslims had achieved that great victory:  • “Verily, you will find the strongest among men in enmity to the believers (Muslims) the  Jews and Al-Mushrikûn (polytheists, pagans, idolators and disbelievers, etc.).” [5:82]  Both resentful parties had their much more indignant suite in the form of hypocrites who faked  Islam just to save their faces; at the head of whom came ‘Abdullah bin Ubai and his re

300 MIRACLES OF PROPHET MUHAMMAD ﷺ Number 210.

﷽ *300 MIRACLES OF PROPHET MUHAMMAD ﷺ* Number 210.  *The Messenger of Allah's status is unparalleled and will remain so until the Last Day.* • Hafiz ibn Kathir says, “He is the greatest Imam, who if he existed in any time period, deserves to be obeyed, rather than all other Prophets. This is why Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, led the Prophets in prayer during the night of Isra' when they gathered in Bayt al-Maqdis (Jerusalem). He is the intercessor on the Day of Gathering, when the Lord comes to judge between His servants.” [Tafsir ibn Kathir –Qur‟an 8:31]

LETS AVOID WASTING OUR TIME

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 25th day of Rabi-ul Aakhir. (Tuesday, 30th of November 2021). *_LETS AVOID WASTING OUR TIME_*. BismilLah.  The Prophet, peace be upon him, warned us, "Man shall not be let go or discharged on the Day of Judgement until he has been questioned about FOUR things: 1. With regard to his life, how did he spend it? 2. With regard to his youth, in what ways did he expend it? 3. With regard to his Wealth: where did he earn it from, and what did he spend it on? 4. With regard to his knowledge, what use did he put it to?"(Al-Bazzar and At-Tabarani). These are only a few just not to prolong the reminder. Let's be wise as the grave is waiting for each of us. It could be you or me tomorrow. *_May ALLAH keeps guiding us all and protects us from any satanic influences_*. Aameen.

The Superiority of Tauhid and what it removes of Sins

*The Superiority of Tauhid and what it removes of Sins* Allah the Most Exalted said:   “It is those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah and worship none but Him Alone) and  confuse not their belief with Zulm (wrong i.e. by worshipping other besides Allah), for them (only) there is security and they are guided ones.”  (Quran 6:82) Narrated Ubadah bin As-Samit (May Allah be pleased with him), that Allah’s Messenger (May  the peace and blessing of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever testifies that there is nothing worthy of worship in truth (no God) except Allah  Alone, Who is without (peer or) partner, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger, and  that ‘Iesa (Jesus) is the slave of Allah, His Messenger, and His Word which He bestowed in  Maryam (Mary) and a spirit (created) from Him, and that Paradise & Hell-fire are realities, Allah will admit him into Paradise, whatever his deeds might be.” (Sahih Al-Bukhari, Hadith No. 3252) ‘Itban (May Allah be pleased with him) narrated tha

The Oneness of Allah

*The Oneness of Allah* FUNDAMENTAL to the religious structure of Islam is the concept of tawheed, or monotheism. As the seed is to tree, so is tawheed to Islam. Just as the tree is a wonderfully developed extension of the seed, so is the religious system of Islam a multi-faceted expression of a single basic concept. For, monotheism in Islam does not mean simply belief in one God, but in God’s oneness in all respects. No one shares in this oneness of God. Allah the Almighty said: “And I (Allah) created not the Jinns and men except they should worship me (Alone).” (51:56) And He stated: “And verily, We have sent among every Ummah (community, nation) a Messenger (proclaiming): Worship Allah (Alone), and avoid (or keep away from) Taghat (besides Allah).” (16:36) And He said: “And your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him. And that you be dutiful to your parents. If one o f them or both o f them attain old age in your life, say not to them a word o f disrespect, nor shout at them

﷽ *Ar-Raheeq Al-Makhtum (The Sealed Nectar).* Excellent Biography of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ Episode 78 *THE BATTLE OF BADR IN ITS QUR'ANIC CONTEXT* The Chapter of Al-Anfal (spoils of war) was revealed on the occasion of the battle of Badr, Ramadan 17th 2 A.H. It constituted a unique Divine commentary on this battle. Allâh, the All-High, in the context of this Chapter draws on major issues relating to the whole process of Islamization. Allâh, here draws the attention of the Muslims to the still lingering moral  shortcomings in their character. He wants them to build an integrated, purified society. He speaks  about the invisible assistance he sent down to His obedient servants to enable them to accomplish  their noble objectives. He wants the Muslims to rid themselves of any trait of haughtiness or  arrogance that might sneak in. He wants them to turn to Him for help, obey Him and His Messenger  (Peace be upon him).  After that He delineated the noble objectives for which the Messenger

As he was leaving the house, he fell and broke his ankle. He bandaged it and went to his companions, then they rode back together to Madinah. The Messenger of Allah said, “Stretch your leg!” He passed his hand over the broken bones and they mended there and then. [Bukhari]

WATCHING/SHARING PORNOGRAPHY AS A MUSLIM IS A DISASTER FOR YOUR EEMAAN (FAITH)

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum al-ithnayn, 24th day of Rabi-ul Aakhir. (Monday, 29th of November 2021). *_WATCHING/SHARING PORNOGRAPHY AS A MUSLIM IS A DISASTER FOR YOUR EEMAAN (FAITH)_*. BismilLah. On every Friday we hear the Imam conclude his khutbah(friday sermon) by reciting the following verse of the Quran: "InnaAllah Yamuru bil adel, wal ehsane, wa itae zil qurba; wa yanha anilfuhshae, wal munkari walbaghi; yaizukhum la'allakum yatazakkaroon. "Surely ALLAH enjoins justice, kindness and the doing of good, to kith and kin; and He forbids all that is shameful, indecent, evil, rebellious and oppressive." Quran 16:90. Pornography and the culture of pornography has all the three elements which ALLAH has prohibited in the above verse of the Quran: Fahsha; Munkar, baghi. Here is a bit of terminology: Fahsha is obscenity, vulgarity, indecency, shamelessness and something that is dirty, filthy, foul and fornication. All scholars agree pornography is included in the te

This is unless he has constant doubt (waswasa), in which case he does not have to do anything. One must wash the entire penis if he experiences madhy, but does not have to wash the testicles. Madhy is the emission that occurs when one has minor pleasure by thinking, looking, or the like.

Types of Dead Animals that are permissible.

*Types of Dead Animals that are permissible.* Ibn 'Umar (RAA) narrated that Allah’s Messenger said,  “Two types of dead animals and two types of blood have been made lawful for us. The two types of dead animals are seafood and locusts, and the two types of blood are(tbe blood of) the liver and the spleen.” Related by Ahmad and Ibn Majah but with a weak chain of narrators. This implies that any other dead animal that is not listed in this category is considered haram based on the following ayah: [2.173] He has only forbidden you what dies of itself, and blood, and flesh of swine, and that over which any other (name) than (that of) Allah has been invoked; but whoever is driven to necessity, not desiring, nor exceeding the limit, no sin shall be upon him; surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

﷽ *THE HAPPIEST WOMAN IN THE WORLD* (A TREASURE CHEST OF REMINDERS) Episode 63 *DO NOT FEEL ANY REGRET ABOUT THIS WORLD* "Help comes with patience." Whosoever realizes how short this life is and how little joy there is in it, how unpredictable it is and how quickly things change for those whose main concern is this world, will not feel any regret for anything in it; they will never despair for whatever passes or feel sad about anything they have missed. For we have the Hereafter which is greater and more lasting, better than this world. So praise Allāh, for you believe in the meeting with the One, whilst others - non Muslim women - do not believe in that promised Day. Congratulations to those who believe in that Day and prepare for it. Doomed are those whose faith is weak and who forget about that Day, and get distracted by their palaces, houses, treasures and cheap luxuries.  ﷽ *Ar-Raheeq Al-Makhtum (The Sealed Nectar).* Excellent Biography of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ Episode 77 *MADINAH RECEIVES THE NEWS OF VICTORY* Two heralds, ‘Abdullah bin Rawahah and Zaid bin Harithah were despatched to Madinah, to convey the glad tidings of victory to the Muslims there. The multi-ethnic and ideological structure of Madinah featured different respective reactions.  Rumour-mongers amongst the Jews and hypocrites spread news to the effect that the Prophet  (Peace be upon him) had been killed, and tried to impress their false assumption on the fact that  Zaid bin Harithah was riding Al-Qaswâ’, the Prophet’s she-camel. Having reached, the two  messengers imparted to the Muslims the happy news of victory, and furnished accurate information  about the course of events in order to establish the sense of reassurance deep in the hearts of the  anxious, but now, joyous Muslims. Kindness to Parents is an act of Worship and Obligatory

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul ahad, 23rd day of Rabi-ul Aakhir. (Sunday, 28th of November 2021). *_Kindness to Parents is an act of Worship and Obligatory_*. BismilLah. ALLAH says, " Your Lord has decreed that you worship none but HIM, and to parents, good treatment. Whether one or both of them reach old age [while] with you, say not to them [so much as], "uff" and do not repel them but speak to them a noble word." - Surah Al Isra (17:23). Brothers and sisters in Islam: ALLAH swt has ordained the good treatment of parents and warned us against treating them with disrespect. There are several verses in the Quran where kindness to parents is coupled with the most important aspect of Islam, i.e. worshipping ALLAH alone. This indicates that being kind to parents, honouring, and respecting them, is extremely important in Islam. Honouring parents can be considered as ‘*ibadah*’ an act of worship if the intention is to please ALLAH swt by obeying HIS commands not ne

HAD I BUT KNOWN

⏳HAD I BUT KNOWN Anfal, a rich young girl, sat waiting impatiently at the doctor’s clinic to get the results of a medical test. She was in a hurry to attend a party and feared she might be late for her appointment with the hairdresser. She never thought the result would be anything important. It was just a precaution insisted upon by her family. She had never suffered any serious illness, apart from the odd ache in her limbs. Then, it was her turn to see the doctor. She hurried inside to get it over with as quickly as possible. She was surprised to see the doctor look sad and concerned as he asked, “Is this yours?” She answered, “No, it is my daughter’s.” She wanted to know the truth and thought that perhaps he would hide the truth, if she told him it was her own. He asked her to have a seat, so she sat feeling somewhat afraid. She looked at him anxiously, as he said,”Why did not you send a man to get the results?” Anfal said, “It was on my way so there was no need to send someone els

The Glance of Love

❤The Glance of Love Ibn Abbas (radi Allahu anhu) narrated that the Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “ The pious offspring who casts a single look of affection at his parents receives a reward from Allah equal to the reward of an accepted Hajj.” The people enquired: “O Prophet of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam), if someone casts a hundred such glances of love and affection at his parents, what then?” The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “ Yes, indeed, even if one does so a hundred times a day, he will get a hundred fold reward. Allah is far greater than you imagine and is completely free from petty narrow mindedness.” (Sahih Muslim) Love your parents and consider this act as a privilege and a source of reward in the eternal world. How much parents love their children, how much they happily sacrifice for them, and how much they want their child to be more privileged than they are, can only be understood when a person becomes a parent themself. What Are You Striving for: Dunya or Akhirah?

What Are You Striving for: Dunya or Akhirah? Many of us seem to spend an incredible amount of time and energy chasing the dream job. Afterall, a bigger paycheck often translates into a better car, a bigger house and a higher worldly social status. What Are You Striving for: Dunya or Akhirah? But we are warned about this in The Qur’an: “Rivalry in worldly increase distracts you (from the remembrance of Allaah), till you come to the graves” (102: 1-2). “Your wealth and your children are but a trial, and Allaah has with Him a great reward.” (64:15). Ever think of the results of all of your worldy efforts? ”It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof.” (79:46) Lavish homes and fancy vacations are temporary worldy fixes whereas dedicating time and effort into something that lasts an eternity make more sense, doesn’t it?  THE BEST INSURANCE The Prophet (Sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said in the hadith of Ibn Abbas, “ If you take care of the commands of Allah, Allah will take care of you (and you will find Allah with you).”Tirmizi Shareef Hadith No. 2516 How does that happen? Ibn Rajab al-Hanbali explains the hadith: 1⃣ If you take care of Allah’s commands and prohibitions, Allah will take care of you by keeping you away from vain desires and doubts in Imaan (Belief); 2⃣ If you take care of the commands of Allah when you are young, Allah will take care of you in your old age; 3⃣If you take care of the commands of Allah, Allah will take care of your children. As an example of the last point Ibn Rajab gave the story of Musa and al-Khidr. Allah (subhana wa ta’ala) says in the Quran, “ Then they both (Musa and al-Khidr) proceeded, till, when they came to the people of a town, they asked them for food, but they refused to entertain them.  *Deepthinking 73* _*Laundry 1*_ Assalamu alaikum warhamatullah wabarakatuhu  Good morning..   Of all house chores, laundry is not one that has a lot of fans..   Sub'hanaLlah, wearing a new clean and ironed dress is awesome..   But..  To wash it when it's dirty.. 😏😏 Oh..  Hear I mean a manual type of wash "hand washing"..  Even if our schedules are not too tight, we prefer to give it to a dry cleaner or laundry service.  Although, laundry is in fact not too difficult if it's one dress, or say two..  Or three..  😊😊😊🤔🤔 But the whole thing used for an entire week or more..?  Hmm  It's screening time..  Selective laundry..   We bring the whole thing out on a Saturday or Sunday morning like we meant business..  We begin by Washing one, two, three..  Then, check the time..  Then take a look at the mountain of unwashed clothes and say..   This is not very dirty,  I wore that only once..  One Wash suffices for this category...   Am I right??   _*To be continued..

﷽ *THE HAPPIEST WOMAN IN THE WORLD* (A TREASURE CHEST OF REMINDERS) Episode 62 *BE CONTENT WITH WHAT ALLĀH HAS DECREED FOR YOU* "Work is the fuel of hope and the enemy of failure." How beautiful are the words of Hajār (may Allāh be pleased with her), the wife of Ibrāhīm and the mother of Ismā'īl, when she followed her husband, after he had left with her son in a valley that was not cultivated, and departed. She kept asking him, "O' Ibrāhīm! Where are you going and leaving us in this valley, where there are no people and nothing?" He did not answer her, so she said: "Has Allāh commanded you to do this?" He said: "Yes." She said: "Then He will not forsake us." Indeed, Allāh does not forsake His righteous slaves. Did not Allāh compensate the man and his wife in Surah al-Kahf? Surah Al-Kahf, Verses 80-81: وَأَمَّا الْغُلَامُ فَكَانَ أَبَوَاهُ مُؤْمِنَيْنِ فَخَشِينَا أَن يُرْهِقَهُمَا طُغْيَانًا وَكُفْرًا "And as for the boy, h

﷽ *Ar-Raheeq Al-Makhtum (The Sealed Nectar).* Excellent Biography of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ Episode 76 *REACTION IN MAKKAH AFTER THE BATTLE OF BADR* The polytheists having received a large dose of disciplining and heavy defeat, fled away in great disorder in the vales and hillocks heading for Makkah panicked and too ashamed to see their people. Ibn Ishaq related that the first herald of bad tidings was Al-Haisaman bin ‘Abdullah Al-Khuza‘i. He narrated to them how their notables were killed. People there did not believe him at first and thought that he had gone mad, but soon the news was confirmed and a state of incredible bewilderment overwhelmed the whole Makkan scene. Abu Sufyan bin Al-Harith gave Abu Lahab a  full account of the massacre and the disgraceful rout they sustained, with emphasis on the role that the angels played in bringing about their tragic end. Abu Lahab could not contain himself and gave vent to his feelings of resentment in beating, abusing and slapping Abu Rafi‘, a
