The Oneness of Allah

 *The Oneness of Allah*

FUNDAMENTAL to the religious structure of Islam is the concept of tawheed, or monotheism. As the seed is to tree, so is tawheed to Islam. Just as the tree is a wonderfully developed extension of the seed, so is the religious system of Islam a multi-faceted expression of a single basic concept. For, monotheism in Islam does not mean simply belief in one God, but in God’s oneness in all respects. No one shares in this oneness of God.

Allah the Almighty said:

“And I (Allah) created not the Jinns and men except they should worship me (Alone).” (51:56)

And He stated:

“And verily, We have sent among every Ummah (community, nation) a Messenger (proclaiming): Worship Allah (Alone), and avoid (or keep away from) Taghat (besides Allah).” (16:36)

And He said:

“And your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him. And that you be dutiful to your parents. If one o f them or both o f them attain old age in your life, say not to them a word o f disrespect, nor shout at them but address them in terms o f honor. And lower unto them the wing o f submission and humility through mercy, and say: 'My Lord! Bestow on them Your Mercy as they did bring me up when I was young.’ ” (17:23,24)

Ibn Mas'ud said:

Whoever wishes to ascertain the very will o f Prophet Muhammad M on which the Prophet has put his seal, let him read the Statement of Allah:

“Say (O Muhammad) 'Come, I will recite what your Lord has prohibited you from: Join not anything in worship with Him....(up to) ...And verily, this is my straight path.’ ”

Lessons derived from above

1) Wisdom o f Allah in creating Jinn and mankind.

2) Worship is Tauhid, as in this issue there had always been dispute (between the Prophets and the polytheists).

3) The wisdom in sending the Messengers.

4) The message o f the Prophet (Tauhid) applies to all nations.

5) All Prophets have brought one and the same religion.

6) At-Taghut is inclusive o f all that is worshipped other than Allah.

7) To recognize A llah’s Right upon us.

8) To recognize the rights o f slaves on Allah, if they fulfill His Right.

9) It is correct to impart knowledge selectively to someone and not to others.

10) The humility o f Prophet Muhammad on riding a donkey with a companion behind.

11) It is legitimate to have a second rider behind.

12) Superiority o f Mu'adh bin Jabal ■

13) The great importance o f this issue (of Tauhid).

GIVE CHARITY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Ath-thalaatha. 28th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Tuesday 7th May 2024). *_GIVE CHARITY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD_*. Aameen.  Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: The Prophet (SallallahuAlaihiWasallam) said, "Charity is obligatory everyday on every joint of a human being.* If one helps a person in matters concerning his riding animal by helping him to ride on it or by lifting his luggage on to it, all these will be regarded as charity. A good word, and every step one takes to offer the compulsory congregational prayer is regarded as charity; and guiding somebody on the road is regarded as charity." [Sahih Al-Bukhari, 4/2891]. To show gratitude to ALLAH for keeping your body safe and sound, you should give in charity or do charitable deeds. Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: ALLAH'S Messenger (sallallahuAlaihiWasallam) said, "The strong is not the one who overcomes the people by his strength, but the strong is the one w

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will p
