*THE HAPPIEST WOMAN IN THE WORLD*
(A TREASURE CHEST OF REMINDERS)
Episode 62
*BE CONTENT WITH WHAT ALLĀH HAS DECREED FOR YOU*
"Work is the fuel of hope and the enemy of failure." How beautiful are the words of Hajār (may Allāh be pleased with her), the wife of Ibrāhīm and the mother of Ismā'īl, when she followed her husband, after he had left with her son in a valley that was not cultivated, and departed. She kept asking him, "O' Ibrāhīm! Where are you going and leaving us in this valley, where there are no people and nothing?" He did not answer her, so she said: "Has Allāh commanded you to do this?" He said: "Yes." She said: "Then He will not forsake us." Indeed, Allāh does not forsake His righteous slaves. Did not Allāh compensate the man and his wife in Surah al-Kahf?
Surah Al-Kahf, Verses 80-81:
"And as for the boy, his parents were believers, and we feared lest he should oppress them by rebellion and disbelief.
"So we intended that their Lord should change him for them for one better in righteousness and near to mercy.
Did Allāh not take care of the treasure of the righteous man for his two sons. When He commanded the companion of Mūsa to rebuild the wall so that it would remain strong until the two boys grew up and could take their father's treasure?
Surah Al-Kahf, Verse 82:
"And as for the wall, it belonged to two orphan boys in the town; and there was under it a treasure belonging to them; and their father was a righteous man, and your Lord intended that they should attain their age of full strength and take out their treasure as a mercy from your Lord. And I did it not of my own accord. That is the interpretation of those (things) over which you could not hold patience."
"I cannot change the past nor know what is to come, so why should I regret anything or worry?"
