*House Of Allah Is Crying*

[[----- Part One -----]]

-----------------------------

Umar ibn Khattab (ra) narrates, *“We were commanded by the Holy Prophet (saw) to present charity (in the path of Allah for the expedition to Tabook) and therefore I came to the prophetic court and presented half of my wealth with the intention of surpassing Abu Bakr’s contribution.  Rasoolullah (saw) asked me what I left behind for my family and I answered, “The same which I have presented (meaning the remaining portion of his wealth)”.  Then Abu Bakr (ra)  came with everything he possessed and presented it to the Holy Prophet (saw). When asked what he left behind for his family, he said, “I have left Allah and His Rasool for them.”* 📚 Authentic hadeeth

Obedient Servants Of Allah!

You will get to many masaajid (Houses Of Allah) today where there are more than 40 worshipers, looking dull & dark, because Fissabilillahi collected can not even buy 3 to 4 litres of petrol to fuel the generator per day not to talk of changing damaged facilities. Many houses of Allah are suffering with generators which are faulty and Angels of Allah from the sky have not descended to take them for repairs.

I know that, some of the readers of this article will say - *"Are you also giving everyday when you're disturbing people to part with their wealth?"* - Insha Allah, on the day of judgement, we will see if i only preach to do good deeds without doing practicing it myself. Yes. I always remember the saying of Allah (swt):

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لِمَ تَقُولُونَ مَا لَا تَفْعَلُونَ

O you who have believed, why do you say what you do not do? 📚As-Saf 61:2

Oh my people!

Many of us have problems of giving out something from what Allah bless us with as sadaqah Fissabilillah, and yet, we never care to invite Allah (swt) in our Du'a to help soften our harden hearts. Yes. Whoever is finding difficult to give Sadaqah is having a harden or diseaseed heart

*Questions:*

▪️Have you ever create time to ask Allah (swt) in your Du'a to soften your heart to always give out of your wealth on daily basis (no matter what) in support of reviving & maintaining masaajid (Houses of Allah)?

▪️Have you ever asked Allah (swt) in your Du'a to help you win the battle between you and shaytan who promised to destroy you?

▪️Did you really feel guilty each time there's call asking you to give Fissabilillah or drop something inside Fissabilillahi box and you refused despite your abilities and capabilities?

Is this how the Prophet Muhammad's companions reacted to the issues of Deen? I don't think this religion will get to us if Prophet Muhammad's companions reacted to the issues of Deen the ways we are doing.

We should remember the saying of Allah:

أَمْ حَسِبْتُمْ أَن تَدْخُلُوا۟ ٱلْجَنَّةَ وَلَمَّا يَعْلَمِ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ جَٰهَدُوا۟ مِنكُمْ وَيَعْلَمَ ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ

Or do you think that you will enter Paradise while Allah has not yet made evident those of you who fight in His cause and made evident those who are steadfast? 📚Aal-e-Imran 3:142

Today,

In our houses, we changed this and that because they are spoiled, but allowed masjid suffer lack of maintenance.

The Prophet (saw) said: *‘Generosity is near to Allah, near to Paradise, near to the people, and far from the Hellfire…’* 📚(Tirmidhi)

Therefore,

Both men and even women who pray at their houses should make it a point of duty in any masjid around them,, by STRETCHING their hands - that is, putting something into Fissabilillah box  everyday.. Let's assume you signed a contract in your mind to be dropping a minimum of N50 in FISSABILILLAH box. In 30days, you will only spend N1500.. Is giving N1500 per month too much? Even if your monthly salary is N15K, giving out N1500 every month is not too much *(if you really know that you are saving for your hearafter)*.

This remind me,

During the time of the prophet, in Madinah, water was scarce and control of.....

[[----- Part Two -----]]

Uthman ibn Affan is not only a pious person but a generous one. Yes. In Madinah, water was scarce and control of the wells was tightly held by several men. Because he (Uthman ibn Affan) was a skilful trader and negotiator, Uthman set about trying to procure a well for the use of the Muslims. He (Uthman) negotiated a price for half a well; he would have control one day and the other owner the next day. However, Uthman gave his water to the Muslims freely, so nobody wanted to pay for the water on the alternate days. The original owner of the well had no choice but to sell his half of the well to Uthman who nevertheless paid a fair price for it. Uthman continued to allow the water to be used freely by all.

Oh My People!

Our situation is so bad today to an extent that - the activities of our masjids where we worship Allah are in a *very serious sorry state* just bcos we are not ready to give little from our wealth.

I don't think this religion will get to us if Prophet companions reacted to the issues of Deen the ways we are doing.

Oh My People!

I have seen an Imam who have memorized complete Qur'an, who is the one bathing Muslims who are dead, who is leading 5 daily swalah, abandon all these duties, went and procure appointment with NNPC. Yes. I did not know about this until when somebody died in the area and they were looking for someone to help bath the dead body... I shed tears 😭 when i heard about it.... Did you blame the Imam? He almost lost his wife and 2 children due his inability to pay for their medical bills.. This is the person who studied Engineering, have family, use all his valuable time for the service of humanity (taking Islamic classes apart from duties listed above) while You & I are busy running around to put food on the table for our families... Is this how christians are treating their so-called pastors and church leaders? I'm not saying people should contribute to the wellbeing of imams, even though doing so is something greatly rewarding.

Furthermore,

If for instance, you have N500 in the pocket or Bank account, will somebody die if give out N100 as sadaqah? Will somebody go hungry?... But we will not give.. Yes.. If comes to swalah, shaytan will not defeat us but if it comes to dropping something inside Fissabilillahi box, we are something else. We cry of bad economy.

We shouldn't forget that,

Abu Huraira reported: A man came to the Prophet (saw) and he said, *“O Messenger of Allah, which charity has the greatest reward?” The Prophet said, “That you give charity while you are healthy, greedy, fearing poverty, and hoping to be rich. Do not delay giving....”* 📚Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 1419, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 1032

Oh My People!

Many of us feel or assume that, since they are establishing all the obligatory prayers which is compulsory on them, they don't need to give charity at all or they don't need to give charity frequently, because according to their own understanding of charity giving, it is not compulsory.. But, is this understanding or opinion correct❓Wallahi it is not correct.

Evidence:

In surah Al-Baqara, 2: verse 177:

"Righteousness is not that you turn your faces toward the east or the west, but [true] righteousness is [in] one who believes in Allah, the Last Day, the angels, the Book, and the prophets *and gives wealth in spite of love for it, to relatives, orphans, the needy, the traveler, those who ask [for help],*..."

Now,

*Women Who Pray At Home:*

Women who pray at home should...

[[---- Part Three ----]]

*Final Episode*

Today, i established fajr prayer in darkness, in masjid  where usually, there used to be more than 60 worshipers every prayer, and this is not my first time of praying without light in that masjid.. I also travel out time to time and notice the same in most bigger masaajid where i prayed.. This is the reason why i picked up courage to put up this reminder.

Obedient Servants Of Allah!

When Prophet Muhammad (saw) and the Muslim armies were going to fight the Byzantines at Tabuk, he called on people to give from their wealth and property to support and equip the soldiers. Uthman presented 200 saddled camels and 200 ounces of gold. He also gave 1,000 dinars. Prophet Muhammad asked for donations hoping to inspire others to give as freely as Uthman. However, it was Uthman who surpassed them all and gave a total of 900 equipped camels

Will somebody die if you spend N1500 to support daawah programs?

*Women Who Pray At Home:*

Women who pray at home should also not be left behind in budgeting something reasonable for the maintenance of the house of Allah. Yes. Many masaajid have account details which she can use to send her contribution. She can also send her husband or son to help her drop something inside Fissabilillahi box *(ie - if she knows that her husband or son will not corner it into his pocket)*. She can also send it directly through the Imam or Fissabilillahi collector of any masjid close to her.

*Final Word To The Miserly*

Upon all the preaching, if u still find it difficult to give sadaqah (frequently), especially in the revival of your masaajid, then, start making dua to Allah (swt) to soften your heart, so that you can derive joy in giving giving giving and giving.

The Prophet (saw) said:

*"A generous person is close to Allah, close to Paradise, close to people, and far from Hell. However, a miserly person is far from Allah, far from Paradise, far from people, but close to Hell. Allah loves more an ignorant man who is generous than a worshipper who is miserly"*. 📚(Tirmidhi)

Finally,

Giving of sadaqah frequently is a light (in this world & the next) for its doers.

In Surah al-Hadid, Allah (swt) say:

*"On that day hypocrites, both men and women, shall speak unto those Believers; Wait for us. Let us have light from your light.’ But they will be told: Turn back and seek a light of your own.’ And thereupon a wall will be raised between them (the givers of sadaqah & those who zip-up their pockets) with a gate in it. Inside it will be mercy and outside the wall will be suffering and punishment....... Verily, as for men and women who accept the Truth as true, and who offer up unto Allah a goodly loan, they will be amply repaid, and shall have a noble reward*.📚[al-Hadid 57: 12-18]

Therefore,

Whenever we face situations that warrant us to spend in the cause of Allah, we must conquer our emotion, by not believing the world of mathematics where 5-2=3, and that,, one can never increase what he or she have by giving it away.

*With hope that this reminder help us change our attitudes of not wanting to spend in the cause of Allah swt.*

GIVE CHARITY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Ath-thalaatha. 28th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Tuesday 7th May 2024). *_GIVE CHARITY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD_*. Aameen.  Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: The Prophet (SallallahuAlaihiWasallam) said, "Charity is obligatory everyday on every joint of a human being.* If one helps a person in matters concerning his riding animal by helping him to ride on it or by lifting his luggage on to it, all these will be regarded as charity. A good word, and every step one takes to offer the compulsory congregational prayer is regarded as charity; and guiding somebody on the road is regarded as charity." [Sahih Al-Bukhari, 4/2891]. To show gratitude to ALLAH for keeping your body safe and sound, you should give in charity or do charitable deeds. NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will p
