*N10, N20 Doesn't Befits Anymore*

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Can we compare the monthly collection of two workers - Mr A who saved N10 or N20 everyday for 30days and Mr B who saved N50 or N100 everyday for 30days?

Obedient Servants Of Allah!

We all know that the prices of things have triplicate especially in Nigeria. Yes. We can hardly see N10 biscuits now (except in remote villages - maybe). The present high cost of living did not leave anything and this include - *the maintenance of the Masjid*. This is why it has become very necessary to call on the attention of people who drop N10 or N20 inside Fissabilillahi box that *N10, N20 Doesn't Befits* anymore.. After all, encouraging Muslims to drop something reasonable inside Fissabilillahi box everyday is not different with encouraging Muslims to *Save in their Accounts of Good Deeds*. So, it's not the person who remind you to drop something reasonable inside Fissabilillahi box that benefit from the reminder. Yes. And Allah (swt) have already told us to save for ourselves something reasonably better so that we get something reasonably better in return.

Evidences:

إِن تُقْرِضُوا اللَّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا يُضَاعِفْهُ لَكُمْ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ

If you lend to Allah a handsome loan, He will double it for you, and will forgive you. 📚Suratul Taghabun, verse 17

Allah considered giving charity as if it is a loan to Him, just as Allah said in a Qudsi Hadith,

مَنْ يُقْرِضُ غَيْرَ ظَلُومٍ وَلَا عَدِيم

"Who will give a loan to He Who is neither unjust nor poor"

This is why Allah the Exalted said in Surah Al-Baqarah,

فَيُضَاعِفَهُ لَهُ أَضْعَافًا كَثِيرَةً

So that He may multiply it to him many times. 📚(2:245).

Oh My People!

It's a pity to check what is collected at end of every collection made😃. Sometimes you see N260, sometimes you see N320 in a Masjid where you have upto 30, 40 or more worshipers.. Amount which can not even buy 2 litres of petrol.. Even in bigger Masaajid where Friday prayer conducted with 300-500 worshipers hardly generate 3K (ie - N4000) at the end of collection.. Is this fair?

Oh My People!

Our beloved Prophet Muhammad would have asked Allah (swt) to send Angels to come with money directly from the sky to enable him spread the religion of Islam, but instead, the prophet asked his companions to give Fissabilillah, telling you and I that the maintenance of our Masaajid and Deen of Allah generally is our responsibility. This why dropping N10, N20 inside Fissabilillahi box *Doesn't Befits Anymore*.

Obedient Servants Of Allah!

▪️What happen to the food or drinks you or any other person consume?

*Answer:*

It gives you energy which is used to do (1) things that benefit your duniya or worldly life (2) things that benefit your Akhirah or hearafter (3) things that does neither benefits your duniya nor your Akhirah

▪️What happen to the money you spent on your clothing or dresses, and those you spent in the maintenance of your cars and house?

*Answer:*

With time, the dresses end up in dustbin while your car, generator etc got devalued day-in-day-out

▪️What happen to the money you spent on your wife, husband or children?

*Answer:*

If you are wise by using your wealth to make sure that your family members become righteous, then, *there is probability that, they may or may not benefit you, since it's ONLY Allah (swt) who gives guidance to whom HE will*. Yes. We have countless situations where all the efforts of parents towards insuring that their children become righteous yeild no positive results.

▪️What happen to the money you drop inside Fissabilillahi box for the maintenance of the Masjid? What happen to the money you spent in the cause of helping people who are not your family members? What happen to your efforts of making sure that the Deen of Allah keep growing or reach the door steps of Millions of Ummah worldwide cheaply using your wealth?

Now,

Continuation of the previous episode - as promised:

▪️What happen to the money you drop inside Fissabilillahi box for the maintenance of the Masjid? What happen to the money you spent in the cause of helping people who are not your family members? What happen to your efforts of making sure that the Deen of Allah keep growing or reach the door steps of Millions of Ummah worldwide cheaply using your wealth?

*Answer:*

Any of these ways give you *Direct Credit Alert* which is free of any probability or doubt. Your account of good deeds receive credit alert anytime you do these.

Oh My People!

A wise person is the one who always put himself or herself first before anyone else, since no matter how we suffer in this world 🌎 to give all the comfort to our family members (wife, husband or children), there is probability that, we will not receive *Direct Credit Alert* compare to when we drop something inside Fissabilillahi box in the Masjid or any Allah's cause mentioned above.

Today,

You see someone who have 1K (ie - N1000 Nigeria currency) inside his or her pocket for instance, turn face 😈 to the other direction just because Masjid Fissabilillahi collector is going round with the box😃. He or she don't want to be tempted to give even N100 out of the 1K as Fissabilillah, and what will surprise you is that, this same person will leave the masjid, enter provision store to spend everything on bread, coffee, Milk, butter and sugar to wife, husband or children.. I pray you won't regret one day. Regret?😳 Yes. Allah says in Surah Abasa - chapter 80 verse 34-37,

That Day shall a man flee from his brother, and from his mother and his father, and from his wife and his children. Because horror will be so great and the matter will be so weighty.

This is why a wise person will not pour all his or her efforts in keeping wife husband and children comfortable without dropping something reasonable inside Fissabilillahi box or anytime a call is made demanding for Fissabilillah.

Remember that,

Prophet (saw) said: *"Every Muslim has to give in charity."* The people asked, *"O Allah's Prophet! If someone has nothing to give, what will he do?"* He said, *"He should work with his hands and benefit himself and also give in charity (from what he earns)."* The people further asked, *"If he cannot find even that?"* He replied, *"He should help the needy who appeal for help by helping to reach out to those who can render the help."* Then the people asked, *"If he cannot do that?"* He replied, "Then he should perform good deeds and keep away from evil deeds and this will be regarded as charitable deeds."  📚Bukhari  2.524

But,

You see Muslims with upto N200 in their pockets and decline dropping even N50 inside Fissabilillah box.

To end this reminder,

Special package goes to women who.......

*Final Episode:*

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Our beloved Prophet Muhammad would have asked Allah (swt) to send Angels to come with money directly from the sky to enable him spread the religion of Islam, but instead, the prophet asked his companions to give Fissabilillah, telling you and I that the maintenance of our Masaajid and Deen of Allah generally is our responsibility. This why dropping N10, N20 inside Fissabilillahi box *Doesn't Befits Anymore*.

Today,

You see Muslims with upto N200 in their pockets and decline dropping even N50 inside Fissabilillah box.

Therefore,

Both men and even women who pray at their houses should make it a point of duty in any masjid around them,, by STRETCHING their hands into Fissabilillah box  everyday.. At least a minimum of N50 in FISSABILILLAH box. In 30days, you will only spend N1500.. Is giving N1500 per month too much?

*Women Who Pray At Home:*

Hadeeth Narrated by Abu Said Al-Khudri: *Once Allah’s Apostle went out to the Musalla (to offer the prayer) o ‘Id-al-Adha or Al-Fitr prayer. Then he passed by the women and said, “O women! Give charity, as I have seen that the majority of the dwellers of Hell-fire were you (women)...."* 📚Sahih al-Bukhari Book 6 Hadith 301

For this reason,

Women who pray at home should also not be left behind in budgeting something reasonable for the maintenance of the house of Allah. Yes. Many masaajid have account details which she can use to send her contribution. She can also send her husband or son to help her drop something inside Fissabilillahi box *(ie - if she knows that her husband or son will not corner it into his pocket)*. She can also send it directly through the Imam or Fissabilillahi collector of any masjid close to her.

*The Stingy Amongst Muslims:*

Hadeeth Narrated by Abu Huraira: The Prophet (saw) said, *“There is not a day upon which the servant awakens but that two angels descend. One of them says: O Allah, repay one who spends in charity! The other says: O Allah, destroy one who withholds charity!”* 📚̣Bukhārī 1374, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 1010

Oh The Stingy Ones!

How would u see people dropping something inside Fissabilillahi box and to make the spread of Deen easy & possible, yet, you don't compete? Are you this bad? Good people compete in doing good deeds.

Evidence:

In the time of Abu Bakr (ra), in a small area of Madeenah, there lived a blind elderly woman who had no one to help her and attend to her needs.

When Umar ibn Al Khattab (ra) came to know of this, he became very uneasy and decided to take it upon himself to attend to her need.

The next day Umar (ra) went in secrecy, but when he reached, he was surprised to find someone had already been and had already attended to the needs of this blind woman.

When this happened for a few days, Umar (ra) became very frustrated at someone surpassing him in this golden opportunity to serve a person in need.

He was curious too and so hid in one corner the next day. Umar (ra) did not have to wait long as soon a man entered. When Umar (ra) looked closely, it was non-other than the Caliph of the time, Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (ra)

Alhamdulillah!!!

Through technology and internet, Allah (swt) has made it easy for us to receive the guidance easily, cheaply & simply. Yes. Our jobs (as students of knowledge) is not to FORCE people to comply BUT to remind them.

Evidence:

فَذَكِّرْ إِنَّمَأ أَنتَ مُذَكِّرٌ

لَّسْتَ عَلَيْهِم بِمُسَيْطِرٍ

So remind them -- you are only one who reminds. You are not a dictator over them. 📚(88:21-22

GIVE CHARITY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Ath-thalaatha. 28th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Tuesday 7th May 2024). *_GIVE CHARITY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD_*. Aameen.  Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: The Prophet (SallallahuAlaihiWasallam) said, "Charity is obligatory everyday on every joint of a human being.* If one helps a person in matters concerning his riding animal by helping him to ride on it or by lifting his luggage on to it, all these will be regarded as charity. A good word, and every step one takes to offer the compulsory congregational prayer is regarded as charity; and guiding somebody on the road is regarded as charity." [Sahih Al-Bukhari, 4/2891]. To show gratitude to ALLAH for keeping your body safe and sound, you should give in charity or do charitable deeds. NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will p
