*THE HAPPIEST WOMAN IN THE WORLD*
(A TREASURE CHEST OF REMINDERS)
Episode 58
DO NOT TRY TO ESTABLISH A COURT OF VENGEANCE, FOR YOU MAY BE THE FIRST VICTIM
"...Nay, verily, with me is my Lord. He will guide me." [Qur'an 26:62]
Some people are easy going and do not care about settling scores or taking all their dues in full; they overlook many things and may even play dumb sometimes, but in generally they are easy-going, pleasant and do not examine things thoroughly or try to read between the lines. They do not worry about such things.
Others do not know the meaning of tolerance nor overlook the slightest thing. They are engaged in a constant battle with other people to get their dues in full.
Naturally, the one who is tolerant is more likely to be content, calm and free of anxiety, and more deserving of people's love and affection. The door of success is more likely to be open to him than many of those who think of themselves as being in a constant battle with people, and who analyze all words and situations, looking for evil intentions. Such persons bring anxiety upon themselves in all ways, and people hate them and try to avoid them. The doors of success are closed to them. The Messenger of Allāh (Blessings and Peace be upon him) was never given the choice between two things but he chose that which was easier, unless it was a sin, in which case he would be the most stringent of people in keeping away from it.
The Messenger of Allāh (Blessings and Peace be upon him) said: "May Allāh have mercy on one who is easy-going when he sells, easy-going when he buys, and easy-going when he asks for his dues from people."
"You should do what you can now, and do not worry about what tomorrow will bring."
