Your Bodyguard

*Your Bodyguard* ------------------ بسم الله الرحمان الرجيم Some people pray Tahajjud for some nights. Then they miss a night. They miss two. They miss five, six, or seven days in a month. They think, "It's okay, I will try again." But there is a difference between trying and being chosen. Sure! The hardest thing is not the midnight prayer. The hardest thing is waking up. Your body wants sleep. Shaytan tells you to forget. Shaytan whispers, “Tomorrow. Just rest.” You feel so tired. But what happens if you don’t listen? If you win this fight? Not for one night, but for every night. For years without missing. Here is the truth that will split the crowd right away: Yes! And someone who has never done this will say, "This cannot be true." But the one who has stood in Tahajjud for years, without missing a night? They will read this write-up, nod slowly, and swear by Allah: "This is the pure truth." Here is that truth: If you prove to Allah—for years—that y...

TAFSEER OF SUURATUL KAWTHAR, Qur'an 108 WITH PRACTICAL LESSONS FOR DAILY LIFE

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Arba'a, 11th day of Rajab, 1447AH, Wednesday, 31st December, 2025. *_TAFSEER OF SUURATUL KAWTHAR, Qur'an 108 WITH PRACTICAL LESSONS FOR DAILY LIFE_*. BismilLahir Rahmanir Raheem.  Let's continue with our studies of suuratul Kawthar from yesterday's reminder; Verse 2 فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَانْحَرْ “So pray to your Lord and sacrifice.” This verse teaches gratitude through action. Prayer (Ṣalaah) → sincerity and connection with ALLAH Azzawajal  Sacrifice (Naḥr) → devotion, obedience, and giving for ALLAH’S sake. 🔹 Scholars explain this as: Establishing prayer purely for ALLAH Azzawajal sake and  Offering sacrifices without shirk or showing off. Gratitude is not just spoken, it is lived. Verse 3   إِنَّ شَانِئَكَ هُوَ الْأَبْتَرُ “Indeed, your enemy is the one who will be cut off.” Those who mocked the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam are forgotten. The Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam is remembered every second across the world and t...

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER.  *_TAFSEER OF SUURATUL KAWTHAW, Qur'an 108 WITH PRACTICAL LESSONS FOR DAILY LIFE_*. BismilLah.  Background and Context of Revelation: Suurat al-Kawthar was revealed in Makkah, during a period when the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu  alaiyhi wassallam faced mockery, grief, and emotional pain. The Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam had lost his sons (Qāsim and Abdullāh). The Quraysh mocked him, calling him “Abtar” (cut off, without legacy). This surah came as divine comfort, honour, and reassurance from ALLAH Azzawajal. ALLAH Azzawajal responded to human insult with eternal honour.   Verse-by-Verse Tafseer and Commentary Verse 1: “Indeed, ALLAH Azzawajal have granted you, Mohammed  Al-Kawthar.” Meaning of Al-Kawthar Linguistically: abundant, overflowing goodness Includes: A river in Paradise given exclusively to the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam. Chapter Five The Jealous Wives

Chapter Five The Jealous Wives After the death of Sakina’s child, the atmosphere in the house changed completely. Grief spread beyond the walls of their home and reached the ears of neighbors, relatives, and people in the community. Instead of comfort and sympathy, suspicion slowly began to grow. All eyes turned toward Ameera. Whispers followed her wherever she went. Women gathered in corners, lowering their voices when she passed. Some openly questioned her character, while others hinted at things too painful to repeat. “Why did the child die?” “Such things don’t just happen.” “Isn’t Ameera always at home?” “Maybe there is more to this story.” Ameera heard the rumors. Each word pierced her heart like a knife. She was shocked, exhausted, and deeply hurt. Never in her life had she imagined that patience and kindness would be repaid with such accusations. She cried in silence, turning only to Allah in the depths of the night. Maikudi noticed the tension and the growing noise from th...

DON’T RELATE IT!

FAJR REMINDER: DON’T RELATE IT! By: Umm ‘Affān Rajab 8, 1447 (29-December-2025) When Prophet Yūsuf (‘Alayhi Salām) was a young boy, he woke up one morning and shared with his father a dream he had. Verily, I saw (in a dream) eleven stars and the sun and the moon - I saw them prostrating themselves to me.” [Sūrah Yūsuf (12) Verse 4] Prophet Ya'qūb (‘Alayhi Salām), who had the gift of interpreting dreams, was filled with joy. He perceived the dream as a divine sign that his son had been selected for a significant purpose. Abū Hurayrah reported that the Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) said, أَصْدَقُكُمْ رُؤْيَا أَصْدَقُكُمْ حَدِيثًا وَالرُّؤْيَا ثَلَاثَةٌ فَرُؤْيَا الصَّالِحَةِ بُشْرَى مِنْ اللَّهِ وَرُؤْيَا تَحْزِينٌ مِنْ الشَّيْطَانِ وَرُؤْيَا مِمَّا يُحَدِّثُ الْمَرْءُ نَفْسَهُ فَإِنْ رَأَى أَحَدُكُمْ مَا يَكْرَهُ فَلْيَقُمْ فَلْيُصَلِّ وَلَا يُحَدِّثْ بِهَا النَّاسَ “The mo...

A Message 4 You* [[--- Part 21 ---]]

*A Message 4 You* [[--- Part 21 ---]] ------------------ بسم الله الرحمان الرجيم Think of a sin you did. One you remember alone in the dark. Your face gets hot with shame. Your heart feels heavy. You think, "Will Allah forgive me for that?" This worry is a mercy. It is Allah (swt) calling you back. But listen carefully. That shame is a gift. It is your key to escape. My People, Allah (swt) is The Most Merciful. But His anger is real. Yes. And there is one thing that brings His anger fast. It is when you know a thing is wrong, and you say, "Allah, forgive me for what I am about to do," and then you do it anyway. This is not a mistake. This is a choice. You are telling Allah to His face, "I know Your rule, and I choose to break it now." This is a dangerous game. It angers Allah (swt) more. This is why, The Prophet (PBUH) gave us a clear promise: "Everyone from my nation will enter Paradise except those who refuse." They said, “O Messenger of Allah...

A Message 4 You* [[--- Part 20 ---]]

*A Message 4 You* [[--- Part 20 ---]] ------------------ بسم الله الرحمان الرجيم Imagine two gifts. One gift is wrapped in beautiful paper. The other is a simple key. The beautiful paper is nice to look at. But the key can open doors to a great treasure. Our children are a trust from Allah (swt). We love them. We want to give them everything. We work hard to give them nice clothes, good food, a safe home, and best western education. This is good. But this is the beautiful wrapping paper. The real treasure is their heart, their faith, correct islamic upbringing, the type of school they attended, and their connection to Allah. This is the key. *A Story of a Father’s Prayer (Du'a):* Think of Zayd, the father of Sa'id. Sa'id is one of the ten companions promised Paradise while on earth. His father, Zayd, wanted more than anything to meet the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). But he was killed before he could. With his last breath, he did not ask for anything for himself. H...

Chapter Four The Jealous Wives

Chapter Four The Jealous Wives Sakina’s work as a medical doctor demanded most of her time and strength. Her days were spent within the walls of the private hospital, moving from ward to ward, attending to patients, writing reports, and responding to emergencies. Many times, she left home early in the morning and returned late at night, exhausted and mentally drained. Her profession was respected, and the community admired her dedication, but the reality inside the household slowly began to change. While Sakina was away at work, Ameera remained at home. Day after day, she handled almost everything alone. She cooked, cleaned, washed clothes, fetched water, cared for the children, and managed the house entirely. Maikudi also left for work daily, trusting that peace still existed at home as it once did. Ameera rarely complained. She reminded herself of patience, believing that Allah saw her efforts. Over time, the burden grew heavier. Ameera began to feel like a house girl rather than a w...

TAFSEER OF SUURATUL KAAFIRUN (Qur’an 109), WITH CONTEXT, COMMENTARY, MEANINGS, and PRACTICAL LESSONS WE CAN APPLY IN OUR DAILY LIFE

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum al-ithnayn, 9th day of Rajab, 1447AH, Monday, 29th December, 2025. *_TAFSEER OF SUURATUL KAAFIRUN (Qur’an 109), WITH CONTEXT, COMMENTARY, MEANINGS, and PRACTICAL LESSONS WE CAN APPLY IN OUR DAILY LIFE_*. BismilLah.  Let's continue with our studies on suuratul Kaafirun.  Verse 2 لَا أَعْبُدُ مَا تَعْبُدُونَ “I do not worship what you worship.” 🔹 A clear statement of separation in acts of worship. 🔹 Worship is not negotiable or shared. Lesson: Faith is not flexible when it comes to who and how we worship. Verse 3 وَلَا أَنتُمْ عَابِدُونَ مَا أَعْبُدُ “Nor are you worshippers of what I worship.” 🔹 They do not worship ALLAH sincerely or exclusively. 🔹 Worship without sincerity and obedience is not true worship. Lesson: True worship requires ikhlāṣ (sincerity), not just words. Verse 4 وَلَا أَنَا عَابِدٌ مَّا عَبَدتُّمْ “And I will never worship what you have worshipped.” 🔹 Emphasizes permanence and finality. 🔹 The Prophet ﷺ will never accep...

TAFSEER OF SUURATUL KAAFIRUN (Qur’an 109), WITH CONTEXT, COMMENTARY, MEANINGS, and PRACTICAL LESSONS WE CAN APPLY IN OUR DAILY LIFE

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaumul ahad, 8th day of Rajab, 1447AH, Sunday, 28th December, 2025. *_TAFSEER OF SUURATUL KAAFIRUN (Qur’an 109), WITH CONTEXT, COMMENTARY, MEANINGS, and PRACTICAL LESSONS WE CAN APPLY IN OUR DAILY LIFE_*. BismilLah.  Context and Background of Revelation: The leaders of Quraysh proposed a compromise to the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam: They suggested that he worship their idols for a year, And they would worship ALLAH Azzawajal for a year. Their goal was not peace, but to dilute Tawheed (pure monotheism). In response, ALLAH Azzawajal revealed Suuratul Kafirun as a firm, dignified, and peaceful rejection of all forms of religious compromise. This surah draws a clear line between truth and falsehood, without hatred, abuse, or aggression. Verse-by-Verse Tafseer and Meanings Verse 1 قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ “Say: O disbelievers,” 🔹 ALLAH commands the Prophet ﷺ to openly address those who reject faith. 🔹 The term kaafirun here refers specifica...

THE DREAM OF YŪSUF

FAJR REMINDER: THE DREAM OF YŪSUF (Stars, sun, and moon prostrating to him) By: Umm ‘Affān Rajab 7, 1447 (28-December-2025) There are indeed many stories, especially those of Allāh's Prophets and the challenges they encountered, that provide valuable lessons for those who reflect. A notable example is the narrative of Prophet Yūsuf (‘Alayhi Salām) and the trials he faced with his brothers, which offers numerous lessons for us to contemplate. Allāh states: لَّقَدْ كَانَ فِي يُوسُفَ وَإِخْوَتِهِ آيَاتٌ لِّلسَّائِلِينَ “Verily, in Yūsuf (Joseph) and his brethren, there were Āyāt (proofs, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) for those who ask.” [Sūrah Yūsuf (12) Verse 7] Prophet Yūsuf (‘Alayhi Salām) is the son of Prophet Ya’qūb (‘Alayhi Salām), the grandson of Prophet Ishaque (‘Alayhi Salām), and the great-grandson of Prophet Ibrāhīm (‘Alayhi Salām). Allāh Akbar! This lineage is certainly a profound blessing for the family of Prophet Ibrāhīm (‘Alayhi Salām). Allāh declares about Prophe...

A Message 4 You* [[--- Part 19 ---]]

*A Message 4 You* [[--- Part 19 ---]] ------------------ بسم الله الرحمان الرجيم Your heart can turn to stone. And it is your own hands that do it. Every time you choose the wrong. Every time you know what Allah wants, and you turn away. Every small sin, every big sin. It is like throwing mud on a clean glass. One drop. Then another. You cannot see through it anymore. It becomes dirty. Then it becomes hard. A hard heart is a dead heart. It cannot feel. It cannot love what Allah loves. It cannot hate what Allah hates. And worst of all… a hard heart can never cry from the fear of Allah (swt). My People, Do you remember the last time you cried out of the fear of Allah? A real tear, from shame, from the love you have for Allah?, from fearing Allah? That tear was a sign of life. Yes. It was a soft heart. Allah (swt) say: "You see their eyes overflowing with tears because of what they have recognized of the truth." 📚Al-Ma'idah 5:83 Look at the promise for a soft, crying heart...

Chapter Three The Jealous Wives (Continuation)

Chapter Three The Jealous Wives (Continuation) All this while, Maikudi’s heart remained confused. Though he had finally agreed outwardly, inwardly he struggled with the weight of the decision Ameera had placed before him. He did not doubt her wisdom, but he feared the unknown. Many nights, he lay awake thinking deeply, asking himself whether he was truly ready to take such a step. He remembered the years of struggle, the patience Ameera had shown, and the peace they had built together. The thought of introducing another woman into that peace filled him with both fear and hesitation. Maikudi spent long moments in silent prayer, asking Allah to guide him and protect his household from regret. He feared injustice, emotional imbalance, and the possibility of hurting the woman who had sacrificed so much for him. Yet, each time he looked at Ameera, he saw no doubt in her eyes. Her confidence unsettled him more than her words. One day, after much inner struggle, Maikudi made a decision t...

PRACTICAL LESSONS FROM SUURAH AN-NASR (Qur’an 110), FOR OUR DAILY LIVES

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum As-sabt, 7th day of Rajab, 1447AH, Saturday, 27th December, 2025. *_PRACTICAL LESSONS FROM SUURAH AN-NASR (Qur’an 110), FOR OUR DAILY LIVES_*. BismilLah.  1️⃣ Success Is From ALLAH Azzawajal Alone. Whether in work, family, da‘wah, or personal goals, ALLAH Azzawajal is the true source of victory. Never attribute success solely to intelligence, effort, or position. ➡️ Action: Say Alḥamdulillāh sincerely after every success. 2️⃣ Be Humble When You Achieve. The higher you rise, the more humble you should become. Pride after success leads to downfall. ➡️ Action: Increase worship and charity when things go well. 3️⃣ Keep Repenting Even When Things Are Going Well. The Prophet ﷺ was sinless, yet commanded to seek forgiveness. Istighfaar purifies the heart and protects blessings. ➡️ Action: Make daily istighfaair part of your routine (at least 100 times). 4️⃣ Patience Leads to Breakthrough Years of struggle in Makkah were followed by victory. ALLAH’S help ...

SHE IS Ā’ISHAH! By: Umm ‘Affān

FAJR REMINDER: SHE IS Ā’ISHAH! By: Umm ‘Affān Rajab 6, 1447 (27-December-2025) Previously, I touched upon the remarkable figure of Ā’ishah (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anha) briefly, but I would like to delve deeper into her life. She was the beloved wife of our Prophet (ﷺ) following the passing of his first wife, Khadījah Bint Khuwaylid (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anha). Her name, Ā’ishah, is derived from the Arabic word Ā’ish, which means “living.” The name is often given to a girl with the hope that she will live a long and healthy life. The Prophet (ﷺ) affectionately referred to her as “Ā’ish!” In a notable instance, he (ﷺ) said to her: “O Ā’ishah, here is Angel Jibrael sending you greetings (of peace).” To which Ā’ishah responded, “And upon him be peace, the mercy of Allāh, and His Blessings. You see what I do not see.” [Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 6249, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2447] Allāh Akbar! This reflects her elevated status. Furthermore, he (ﷺ) often called her “O Bint Aṣ-Ṣiddīq” and sometimes “Ḥumayrā’,” a te...

Chapter Three The Jealous Wives

Chapter Three The Jealous Wives For some years, Mallam Maikudi and Ameera lived together, trying as much as possible to build happiness from the little they had. Their home was not filled with luxury, but it was filled with patience, understanding, and mutual respect. They learned how to manage scarcity, how to smile through difficulty, and how to thank Allah even when things seemed tight. Every day was a lesson, and every challenge strengthened their bond. They shared responsibilities without complaint. Ameera managed the home wisely, stretching small resources to meet daily needs. Maikudi worked tirelessly, refusing to be idle. He took on small businesses, assisted farmers, and accepted temporary work wherever it appeared. Though progress was slow, they never lost hope. Their nights were often spent in prayer, asking Allah to open doors and place barakah in their efforts. Then, after a long period of struggle and patience, Allah answered their prayers. One morning, Maikudi retur...
