Suffering in Silence* [[---- Episode 7 ----]

*Suffering in Silence* [[---- Episode 7 ----]] ------------------------------ *Husbands Who Lavish Strangers While Starving Their Families* بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم In Islam, the permission to marry more wife is ONLY given to married men who pay a MINIMUM of 80% family bills and still have excess financial powers to carry more responsibilities. Yes. Outside this, it's a sin to engage in any relationship with the intention of marriage, because even the first marriage is not compulsory if you can't pay the bills. Evidence: وَلْيَسْتَعْفِفِ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَجِدُونَ نِكَاحًا حَتَّىٰ يُغْنِيَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِۦۗ "But let those who find not the means for marriage abstain from it and sexual relations until Allāh enriches them from His bounty. 📚An-Nur 24:33 *The Fleeting Men:* In general term, "A man who fails his family is like a tree with strong branches that provides shade for strangers while its roots wither in drought." — 📚African Proverb  My people, Marriag...

HOW CAN WE PROTECT OURSELVES FROM SHEITAN WITH REGARDS TO OUR RELIGIOUS COMMITMENT

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm athalaatha, 10th day of Shaw'waal 1446AH, Tuesday,  7th April 2025.  *_HOW CAN WE PROTECT OURSELVES FROM SHEITAN WITH REGARDS TO OUR RELIGIOUS COMMITMENT_*. BismilLah.  As Muslims, our enemy, whose efforts is to deviate us from our religious commitments is Shaitaan and he will never rest till he manage to deviate as many as possible on daily basis through his agents the evil jinns, fortune tellers, magicians etc. He has so many ways of doing that, and many Muslims fall into his traps without even realising it.  The soundness of a person’s religious commitment in this world means happiness and triumph in the hereafter. The capital of a Muslim is his religious commitment, so whoever neglects it and exposes it to trials and temptations is doomed to failure, whereas the one who preserves it and takes care to strengthen it will prosper and succeed.  Our weapon is dua, seeking ALLAH'S help with our efforts to please HIM and also avoi...

Suffering in Silence* [[---- Episode 6 ----]]

*Suffering in Silence* [[---- Episode 6 ----]] ------------------------------ *The Untold Story of Wives Who Bear the Weight of Family Survival Alone* بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم Many husbands pride themselves on having *"helped"* their wives by providing a small business capital—perhaps a few thousand naira or dollars or because the wife is working to collect monthly salary—then sit back, expecting miracles. But business or life generally is not magic; it requires continuous investment, strategy, and additional financial support. The wife runs up and down, while her husband assumes his *"duty is done,"* leaving her to stretch that meager capital given to the wife years back like *"a drop of water in a desert."*  My people! Islam and many traditional cultures actually uphold the principle that a wife can—and often does—support her husband in times of need. However, it becomes a grave injustice, a sin against both Allah and humanity, when a husband shirks his ...

SOME STEPS TO PROTECT US FROM SATAN'S RETURN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm al-ithnayn, 9th day of Shaw'waal 1446AH, Monday,  6th April 2025.  *_SOME STEPS TO PROTECT US FROM SATAN'S RETURN_*. BismilLahir Rahmanir Raheem Don't make the Qur'an a decoration piece until next Ramadan. Let's try our best each day to recite the Qur'an at least 30 minutes as minimum. We should also try to understand the meaning of what we read. If we don't do this, then we can't understand what it is that ALLAH Azzawajal is talking to us about. And of course, if you can not recite properly,  that's self abuse. As such, you must make it a priority to find a teacher to teach you. There is no justification that you can read English text but can not recite the Qur’an. It's never too late to learn to recite the qur'an and striving to understand the meaning. Not only the Qur'an but, more importantly, the sunnah of our beloved Messenger of ALLAH sallalLaahu Alaihi Wasallam. Without the sunnah, we can not even comp...

The dignity of the Sahaba

The dignity of the Sahaba. Alhamdulillah, the Sahaba meaning companions are the best Among the creations and ummah. Allah says, Aal-e-Imran 3:110 You are the best nation produced [as an example] for mankind. You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and believe in Allāh. If only the People of the Scripture had believed, it would have been better for them. Among them are believers, but most of them are defiantly disobedient. The best of generations evolved from mankind are the Sahaba and the reason was because they enjoin what is good and forbade what is evil. Allah says in Quran, At-Taubah 9:100 And the first forerunners [in the faith] among the Muhājireen[1] and the Anṣār[2] and those who followed them with good conduct - Allāh is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him, and He has prepared for them gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever. That is the great attainment. Allah s.w.t is pleased with the companions who were the foremost in t...

Suffering in Silence* [[---- Episode 5 ----]]

*Suffering in Silence* [[---- Episode 5 ----]] ------------------------------ *Stern Warning to Husbands Who Use Money to Punish their Wives* بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم The husband is obliged to spend on his wife’s maintenance, on a reasonable basis. This is why Allah (swt) say in Surah At-Talaq 65:7 لِيُنفِقۡ ذُو سَعَةࣲ مِّن سَعَتِهِۦۖ وَمَن قُدِرَ عَلَيۡهِ رِزۡقُهُۥ فَلۡيُنفِقۡ مِمَّآ ءَاتَىٰهُ ٱللَّهُۚ لَا يُكَلِّفُ ٱللَّهُ نَفۡسًا إِلَّا مَآ ءَاتَىٰهَاۚ “Let the rich man spend according to his means, and the man whose resources are restricted, let him spend according to what Allah has given him. Allah puts no burden on any person beyond what He has given him” 📚[at-Talaq 65:7]. And, It was narrated that Mu‘awiyah al-Qushayri (r.a.) said: I said: O Messenger of Allah, what are the rights of the wife of one of us over him? He said: “That you feed her as you feed yourself, clothe her as you clothe yourself, do not strike the face, do not disgrace her and if you want to shun her (b...

Hold upon tawheed and know Allah is in control of everything.

The story to reflect. Hold upon tawheed and know Allah is in control of everything. Alhamdulillah, there once lived a man who was a traveller and was a person who always said to people to believe in Allah alone and none else. So one-day, he was travelling and then came to a city, that city, before one enters, he has to make a sacrifice to a stone before he enters. So this man never knew and came to the city, as he came there, they asked him to slaughter the animal but this man said, I will never slaughter anything. So they said to him, If you do not slaughter we will imprisoned you  The man looked at them and said, I want to be imprisoned. So they tried but this man did not slaughter. So he was there and then they caught him and said they will slaughter him for their idols. So the man looked at the stone and said to them, I have a stone before that this and bigger than this, So he opened it but they looked at it so beautiful and said to them, I made this stone you are worship...

SERIOUS WARNING_

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul ahad, 8th day of Shaw'waal 1446AH, Sunday,  6th April 2025 *_SERIOUS WARNING_*. BismilLah. One of the beauties of Islam is that it teaches everything that will improve and reform mankind, including how to remove impurities by cleaning oneself properly after urinating or defecating. But some people are very careless and negligent about this matter and allow their clothes and bodies to become contaminated, thus causing their prayers to be invalidated. The Prophet (peace and blessings of ALLAH Azzawajal be upon him) told us that this is one of the causes for the punishment in the grave. Ibn 'Abbaas said: "The Prophet (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) passed by one of the gardens of Madeenah and heard the sound of two men being punished in their graves. The Prophet (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) said: "They are being punished, but they are not being punished for any major sin. One of them used not to clean himself prope...

HOW TO REMAIN STEADFAST IN ISLAM AFTER RAMADAN continues

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm As-sabt, 7th day of Shaw'waal 1446AH, Saturday,  5th April 2025 *_HOW TO REMAIN STEADFAST IN ISLAM AFTER RAMADAN continues_*. BismilLah. First of all, we say Innaa lillahi wa innaa ilaihi Raajiuun. May ALLAH Azzawajal grant our Sheikh Dr Idris Abdul-Azeez Jannatul Firdaus. He was one of the best when it comes to defending the Qur’an and Sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam. He died yesterday Friday AlhamdulilLah, for his blessed life.  Why is the Qur'an a means for steadfastness?  1.  It instils faith in the heart and purifies the soul by connecting it to ALLAH Azzawajal. 2.  It calms the heart of the believer and makes it tranquil. 3.  It provides the believer with the correct principles by which he can face the tough circumstances that he endures, as well as providing him with the appropriate criterion with which to weigh and judge matters. 4.  It refutes the false claims and suspicions that the enemies ...

Have U Finished?

*Have U Finished?* -------------------------------- بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم I'm aware of countless number of people who will be finishing their sitta-shawwal today or tomorrow. Yes. They started a day after Eidil Fitr festival. What about you? Even if you have not finished, have you started? Or you danced to the tunes of your greatest enemy (shaytan) who tricked you by saying - *"You can start next week; You can start next two weeks; You can fast sitta-shawwal when the month of shawwal remain one week to end"* and before you know it, the month of shawwal have ended without you fasting sitta-shawwal. Yes. The same shaytan will not tell you the rewards and benefits of sitta-shawwal fast. How would he? When he is your number one enemy? We must remember that, The Prophet (pbuh) is reported to have said, *“Whoever fasts the month of Ramadan, and then follows it up by (fasting) six days of Shawwal, it is as if he or she has fasted the whole year.”*📚(Muslim) My People! If you h...

End of Devotion* [[--Final Episode--]]

*End of Devotion* [[--Final Episode--]] ------------------------------ بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم As we witnessed increase in worshipping Allah in this year blessed month of Ramadan, we should never look down on others who may not *(for one reason or the other)* be worshipping Allah as much *(like us)*. Yes. We should never think we are better than them. Likewise, we should be careful of falling into the trap of ʿujb. ʿUjb refers to feeling pleased with one’s own accomplishments. This stems from thinking too highly of oneself, being ignorant of one’s own nature and faults. Ibn al-Qayyim (r.a.) writes “A sin that causes you to humble yourself to Allah (swt) is dearer to Allah than a righteous act accompanied by boastful self-righteousness. If you sleep all night then wake up feeling regret (for not having prayed qiyām al-layl), that may be better for you than if you were to pray all night and wake up in the morning filled with self-admiration or telling people about your Tahajjud. HOW TO REMAIN STEADFAST IN ISLAM AFTER RAMADAN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul Jumuat, 6th day of Shaw'waal 1446AH, Friday,  4th April 2025 *_HOW TO REMAIN STEADFAST IN ISLAM AFTER RAMADAN_*. BismilLah. Islam is a complete way of life till death, not only in Ramadhan. It's sad that Ramadhan is gone, so we must remind ourselves that we are Muslims of all times, not only in Ramadhan, and we have the Quran to guide us through all times.  The Quran is the main means for one to remain steadfast, and attachment to it preserves and safeguards a person during trials. ALLAH Azzawajal Says: “And those who disbelieve say: ‘Why was the Quran not revealed to him all at once?’ Thus [it is] that ALLAH may strengthen thereby your heart. And ALLAH has spaced it distinctly.” [Quran 25: 32].   *_May ALLAH Azzawajal keep guiding and protecting us from all satanic influences_*. Aameen.

Have You Started?

*Have You Started?* -------------------------------- بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم Some people have started their sitta-,shawwal a day after Eidil Fitr. Yes. When will you start yours? I'm advising that you start your 6days fast in this month (sitta-shawwal) immediately before your body system get used to eating & drinking during the day. Yes. This will make the fasting easier for you. Besides, people who say - *"I will start next week, I will start next two weeks, I will fast sitta-shawwal when shawwal remain one week to end"* - will lose it because this is how shaytan will be tricking them and before you know it, the month of shawwal have ended. My People! The Prophet (pbuh) is reported to have said, *“Whoever fasts the month of Ramadan, and then follows it up by (fasting) six days of Shawwal, it is as if he or she has fasted the whole year.”*📚(Muslim) Here, It is important to point out that it is not compulsory for a Muslim to fast the six days of Shawwal CONSECUTIVELY....

PURIFICATION OF THE SOUL

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm Arba'a, 4th day of Shaw'waal 1446AH, Wednesday,  2nd April, 2025 *_PURIFICATION OF THE SOUL_*. BismilLah.  The command to purify our hearts from sins was an essential Islamic teaching ever since the early stages of the revelation in Mecca. This is known as “purification of the soul” (tazkiyyat an-nafs).   ALLAH Azzawajal says: He has succeeded who purifies the soul, and he has failed who corrupts the soul. Surah Ash-Shams 91:9-10. Also, ALLAH Azzawajal says: A day when there will be no benefit in wealth or children, but only in he who comes  to ALLAH Azzawajal with a pure heart. Surah Ash-Shu’ara 26:88-89.  We learn from these verses that our success in the Hereafter depends upon the purification of our hearts in this life. We must purify our hearts from spiritual sins such as greed, malice, envy, arrogance, worldliness, fornication, stealing, etc. In their place, we must adorn the heart with spiritual virtues such as lear...

End of Devotion* [[----- Part Six -----]]

*End of Devotion* [[----- Part Six -----]] ------------------------------ بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم One of the best ways to keep us on the right track even after the end of the month of Ramadan is to reflect on the essence of life. Yes. If anyone doubts the vulnerability of this temporal world, let him ask after Prophet Sulaiman (AS) and the efficacies of his commands over mankind and Jinn. Today, Prophet Sulaiman (AS) is no more. Where is Dhul-Qarnayn; a man who had everything called wealth on earth? Today, he is no more. Ask of Namruzu bn Kan’an (upon whom is Allah’s curse) who was so strong and influential that he became the first “heartless oppressor” on earth. Today, he is no more. Where also are the companions of the Prophet (SAW) some of whom were granted special ‘tickets to Heaven’ here on earth? Yet, they are not here today. If you are still in doubts about how futile and vain this world is, ask yourself about your own great grandparents. Where are they? So, In life, *“What ...

EID MUBARAK ONCE AGAIN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm al-ithnayn, 2nd day of Shaw'waal 1446AH, Monday,  31st March 2025.  *_EID MUBARAK ONCE AGAIN_*. BismilLah. For our brothers and sisters offering their Eid today, we say Eid Mubarak to you all. May ALLAH Azzawajal accept it from us all. You will notice from how big the moon was yesterday, which means Saudi ulamaa was 100% correct when they confirmed sighting the moon on Saturday, but alhamdulillah alaa kulli haal.  May ALLAH Azzawajal accept our acts of worship and forgive our shortcomings during the blessed month. May ALLAH Azzawajal heal our sick brothers and sisters, May ALLAH Azzawajal protect all marriages from any satanic influences, May ALLAH Azzawajal grant us good wives and husbands, May ALLAH Azzawajal protect our jobs and aid jobless brothers and sisters to find good halaal jobs. May ALLAH Azzawajal unite this Ummah and protect us from divisions. May ALLAH Azzawajal aid HIS servants and guide the enemies of Islam into Islam. Le...

HAVE YOU STARTED FASTING FOR YOUR RAMADHAN DEBTS OR STARTED YOUR 6t SHAW'WAAL

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm athalaatha, 3rd day of Shaw'waal 1446AH, Tuesday,  1st April, 2025. *_HAVE YOU STARTED FASTING FOR YOUR RAMADHAN DEBTS OR STARTED YOUR 6t SHAW'WAAL_*? BismilLah.  AlhamdulilLah for guiding and blessing us to be part of the blessed month of Ramadhan. Many Muslims couldn't fast due to genuine reasons, and some ignored it without any genuine reasons. May ALLAH Azzawajal guide those Muslims from any satanic influences. Aameen.  It's important we don't delay any acts of worship that can get us closer to ALLAH Azzawajal. Those who missed any days in Ramadhan should start fasting now without delaying it unless with genuine reasons. Those who don't owe any days should start fasting the 6 recommended days in this month of Shaw'waal.  The Prophet (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) explained this when he said: “Whoever fasts for six days after (Eid) al-Fitr has completed the year: (whoever does a good deed (hasanah) will have ten h...

What To Do Next!

*What To Do Next!* -------------------------------- بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم It’s important to strive for continuous self-improvement and spiritual growth, even outside of Ramadan. As Allah says in the Quran 📚(29:69), *“And those who strive for Us – We will surely guide them to Our ways. And indeed, Allah is with the doers of good.”* This means making a conscious effort to avoid sin and negative influences, and to seek out opportunities for personal and spiritual development even outside of the month of Ramadan. My People! Having reminded us to strive hard to keep the spirit of Ramadan INTACT till the next year Ramadan - In Shaa Allah, there's another very important act of worship which follow the fasting in the month of Ramadan. *Fast Six Days in This Month (Shawwal):* It is highly recommended by the Sunnah for a Muslim to fast six days in the month of Shawwal. Yes. Fasting for six days in Shawwal entails great reward and blessings from Allah Almighty. Evidence: The Prophet (pbuh)...

End of Devotion* [[---- Part Five ----]]

*End of Devotion* [[---- Part Five ----]] ------------------------------ بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم May Allah (swt) count us amongst the successful ones in this year month of Ramadan and count us amongst people who will live long to witness very plenty decades observing Ramadan fast with sound health and faith in Allah (swt). Ameen Ya Hayyu La Yamootu Abadah. Servants of Allah! As we come to the end of this year month of Ramadan, let us end it keeping in mind the Fear of our "Actions Not Being Accepted". My people! Along with all the acts of worship we have performed in this year month of Ramadan, we must add another: (which is) - the fear that our deeds may not be accepted. Honestly speaking, The righteous predecessors would strive to perfect their deeds and then would worry about whether their deeds would be accepted. ʿAlī b. Abī Ṭālib (raḍiy Allāhu ʿanhu) said, *“Be more concerned with Allah’s acceptance of a good deed than with doing the good deed itself.* Have you not heard...

End of Devotion* [[---- Part Four ----]]

*End of Devotion* [[---- Part Four ----]] ------------------------------ بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم Our beloved Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) exemplified the beauty of PERSISTENT good deeds (even if it's small). He said: “أحب الأعمال إلى الله أدومها وإن قل“ “The most beloved of deeds to Allah are the most consistent, even if they are small.” 📚(Sahih Bukhari) *Bye-bye Qiyamul-lail & Tahajjud* If the month of shawwal crescent 🌙 is sighted tonight or tomorrow, then, 85% of Muslim Faithful (worldwide) who established qiyamul-lail and Tahajjud in the month of Ramadan will go on 11 months sabbatical leave 😀. Yes. They will not pray midnight prayer again until another Ramadan. And many who may establish midnight prayer will not be CONSISTENT as they do in the month of Ramadan. My people! Qiyamullail & or Tahajjud is one of Allah’s most beloved sunnah practices, performed by His servants. This worship is a good sunnah throughout the year and not only in the month of Ramadan. And Prophet ...

End of Devotion* [[--- Part Three ---]]

*End of Devotion* [[--- Part Three ---]] ------------------------------ بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم Ibn Rajab (raḥimahullāh) reminds us, *“O Servants of Allah! Ramaḍān is ending, and very little of it remains: whoever from you spent it well should finish it the same way; and whoever is falling behind should finish it in the best manner, for the reward of actions are determined by their ending.”* Now, “How can the believer not shed tears at the departure of Ramaḍān, when he does not know if he will live to the next Ramaḍān?” – 📚Ibn Rajab (raḥimahullāh) Alhamdulillah!!! It's our Du'a that, the way this year month of Ramadan will soon leaves us, May Allah (swt) count us amongst the successful ones in this blessed month and count us amongst people who will live long to witness very plenty decades observing Ramadan fast with sound health and faith in Allah (swt).  *End of Devotion* [[---- Part Two -----]] ------------------------------ بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم It's our Du'a that Allah (swt) count us amongst people who will live long to witness very plenty decades observing Ramadan fast with sound health and faith in Allah (swt). Ameen Ya Hayyu La Yamootu Abadah. However , We will soon be celebrating the peaceful end of the holy season of Ramadan - In Shaa Allah. But in terms of what an accepted Ramadan looks like, it’s important to remember that acceptance ultimately comes from Allah. And, there are certain signs that may indicate a successful Ramadan, such as feeling a sense of peace and closeness to Allah; experiencing spiritual growth and increased devotion; and seeing positive changes in one’s behavior and relationships (even after the end of Ramadan). *Negatively Bidding Farewell to Ramadan by Preparing to Display Nakedness* Eid is a joyous occasion for Muslims around the world.
