First, Second and Third Hadīth Of The Day

﷽ *First Hadīth Of The Day* حَدَّثَنِي  إِسْحَاقُ، أَخْبَرَنَا حَبَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ قَتَادَةُ  أَخْبَرَنِي عَنْ صَالِحٍ أَبِي الْخَلِيلِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ  الْحَارِثِ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ حَكِيمَ بْنَ حِزَامٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ عَنِ  النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏"‏ الْبَيِّعَانِ بِالْخِيَارِ  مَا لَمْ يَتَفَرَّقَا، فَإِنْ صَدَقَا وَبَيَّنَا بُورِكَ لَهُمَا فِي  بَيْعِهِمَا، وَإِنْ كَذَبَا وَكَتَمَا مُحِقَتْ بَرَكَةُ بَيْعِهِمَا ‏" ‏‏.‏  Narrated Hakim bin Hizam:                         The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "The buyer and the seller have the option of canceling or confirming the bargain  unless they separate, and if they spoke the truth and made clear the defects of the goods, them they  would be blessed in their bargain, and if they told lies and hid some facts, their bargain would be  deprived of Allah's blessings."  Sahih Bukhari  (Sale...

Surah Al-Araf, Verse 51 and 52

﷽ *Surah Al-Araf, Verse 51:* الَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُوا دِينَهُمْ لَهْوًا وَلَعِبًا وَغَرَّتْهُمُ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا فَالْيَوْمَ نَنسَاهُمْ كَمَا نَسُوا لِقَاءَ يَوْمِهِمْ هَٰذَا وَمَا كَانُوا بِآيَاتِنَا يَجْحَدُونَ "Who took their religion as an amusement and play, and the life of the world deceived them." So this Day We shall forget them as they forgot their meeting of this Day, and as they used to reject Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.). #COMMENTARY "Forgetfulness" may be involuntary, from a defect of memory, or figuratively, a deliberate turning away from, or ignoring of, something we do not want, as when we say in an argument, "you conveniently forget that so-and-so is so-and-so." Here the latter kind is meant. If men deliberately ignored the Hereafter in spite of warnings, can they expect to be received by Almighty ALLĀH (Sub-haanahu wata'aala), Whom they themselves rejected? ﷽ *Surah Al-Araf, Verse 52:* وَلَق...

REGULAR FASTING IS A SHIELD FOR OUR EEMAAN

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum ath-thalaatha. 14th day of Jumaadal Awwal. (Tuesday. 29th December. 2020). *_REGULAR FASTING IS A SHIELD FOR OUR EEMAAN_*. BismilLah.  With the many temptations in our modern world, regularly fasting is the best means to protect us from any satanic influences. It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah (may ALLAAH be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of ALLAAH (peace and blessings of ALLAAH be upon him) said: “Fasting does not just mean giving up food and drink, rather fasting means giving up idle speech and obscene conduct. Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 6057. This week is one of the best week to fast as it contains the 3 White days within Monday and Thursday so it's important to fast from Monday yesterday to Thursday in shaa ALLAH. If you couldn't fast yesterday, you can start from today till Thursday in shaaALLAH.  *_May ALLAH aid us in our efforts to be steadfast in our acts of worship and live a life of a true Muslim/Muslimah_*. Aameen.

How Sura Ad-Duha Can Change Your Life!

🌴Praise be to Allah Almighty.            *How Sura Ad-Duha*   *Can Change Your Life!*     *____________________*       ```Very Important``` *Many of us know surah ad-duha off by heart and have probably read its meaning many times as well, which seems quite straightforward. How many of us, though, have actually gone into the reason behind its revelation and derived the lessons and implications this surah has in our lives?* *This surah was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) at a time when he had not received any revelation for six months, not even in the form of a dream! The Prophet (peace be upon him) was in a very disturbed state of mind, feeling negative and depressed and believing that Allah was displeased with him, had forgotten him, and did not want him as a Nabi anymore.* *Don’t we have similar feelings in our lives? Times when our level of imaan is low, our khushoo in salah wavers and we feel a drop i...

*An Interview with Shaykh IBN 'UTHAYMEEN’S Wife regards the everyday life of the SHEIKH*   The following article is a transcribed interview conducted with Umm ‘Abdullah, the wife of Shaykh ibn 'Uthaymeen. It’s a great question and answer session because you get an inside look into everyday greatness. Inshaa’Allah, we can benefit from the Shaykh’s example as well as his wife’s, who is to be immensely respect for her role as one who helped the Shaykh in seeking and propagating such beneficial knowledge to the Ummah. One can also see the amazing respect and love she had for her husband. Sisters whose husbands are into da'wah and teaching are especially advised to read this interview. Question 1: Was there any change in the motivation of the Shaykh regarding ‘ilm (knowledge), da’wah, and worship between his youth and his elder years? Answer: I did not find any diminishing or weakness in his motivation in knowledge, da’wah, and worship despite his advancing age. On the contra...

The ISLAMIC Q&A

🌴Praise be to Allah Almighty.            *The ISLAMIC Q&A*      *____________________*       ```Very Important```             *QUESTION 49* *There was a discussion about the issue of putting one’s trust in Allah (tawakkul) and taking measures; the trust of some of the righteous is like that of Maryam, to whom summer fruits used to come in the winter and vice versa without her taking any measures; rather she focused completely on worship. Please advise us about that, may Allah bless you.*           *ANSWER 49:* *Putting one’s trust in Allah involves two things:* *(i) Depending on Allah and believing that He is the One Who causes measures to be effective; His decree comes to pass; He has decreed all things, counted them out and ordained them, may He be glorified and exalted.* *(ii) Taking appropriate measures; putting one’s trust in Allah does not mean refraining f...

I am interested in it because I am in a Religious Studies class and I am interested in learning more. It is achieved by living a life in which, ironically, one abstains from the things with which he or she will be rewarded in paradise. In addition to this abstentiion, one must follow the five Pillars of Islam.* *It seems to me that the Islamic faith is a do-it-yourself proposition.* *Follow this "way of life", they say, and you will gain favor with God and eventually achieve salvation. There is NO assurance. I would hate to live like th...

Love Truth Even if it Hurts You. And Hate Lies Even if it Helps You.

*🌴Peace be upon you all.*        *Love Truth Even if it Hurts You.* *And Hate Lies Even if it Helps You.*     *I dare say that the most important thing in this world is truth. Without truth we do not know the value of anything. Whether or not we are wise is ultimately shown in our attitude towards the truth. Truth means more than fact. In fact truth is not fact. Facts can change but truth is changeless. Truth is not relative as many think. If truth is relative then the statement itself "truth is relative" is also relative. How do we measure or judge anything if there is no such thing as absolute truth? If there was no such thing as absolute truth, there will be no such thing as a lie and by extension no such persons as liars. What standard will you use to say that a person is a liar? Truth is absolute and can be expressed in relative terms. That said, of all truths the truth about our selves is the most critical. Without admission of the truth about ...

Owners of the Garden

🌴Praise be to Allah Almighty.            *Owners of the Garden*     *____________________*       ```Very Important``` *_The following story is mentioned in Surah Qalam, Chapter 68 of the Holy Quran. Read and take heed_* *Once there was a wealthy and pious man. He had a big garden full of green trees laden with fruits. After the fruits were picked, this rightful man used to distribute some fruits among the poor who would gather at the garden every season to take their share.* *Allah liked this act of the man. By the grace of Allah the garden used to give rich harvest every season. Truly, one who spends for the sake of Allah gets the reward in the hereafter as well as in this life.* *This man had many sons who were not so pious as him. When their father died, they discussed a plan and said to each other that their father was not a wise man. He did not know how it was difficult to earn livelihood. They did not like the habit of ...

Pearls Of Motivation

*Pearls Of Motivation* If you put your hope in situations or people, you’re likely to be let down. Put your hope in Almighty ALLĀH (Sub-haanahu wata'aala). He won’t leave you disappointed. *Habits Of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ*   Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) used to perform i'tikaaf in every Ramadan.

What Every Person Needs To Know About Jannah (Paradise) Episode 13 The Highest Position in Paradise

﷽ *What Every Person Needs To Know About Jannah (Paradise)* *Episode 13* *The Highest Position in Paradise* The highest position in Paradise which will be attained by only one person is called al- Waseelah. It will be attained, insha'Allah, by the Chosen Prophet, the best of Allah's creation,  our Prophet Muhammad (Salallahu Alayhi Wasalam ). This is narrated in a hadith narrated by al-Bukhaari from Jaabir ibn 'Abdullaah (Radi-Allahu Anhu) according to which the Prophet (Salallahu Alayhi Wasalam) said, "Whoever says, when he hears the call to prayer,  "Allahumma Rabba hadhihi-da'wati-tammah, was-salaatil-qaa'imah, aati muhammadan al-waseelata wal-fadeelata, wab'aththu maqaaman mahmoodan alladhi wa'adtahu." Let's Change Our Mindsets About Marriage Episode 336. ﷽ The Muslim Woman And Her Husband

﷽ *Let's Change Our Mindsets About Marriage* *Episode 336* ﷽ *The Muslim Woman And Her Husband* (Part 5) *5. She does not disclose his secrets*   The chaste Muslim woman does not disclose her husband’s secrets, and does not talk to  anyone about whatever secrets and other matters there may be between him and her. The serious Muslim woman is above that; she would never sink to the level of such cheap and shameless talk as goes on amongst the lowest type of people. Her time is too precious to be wasted in such vulgar behaviour. She would never accept for herself to be counted as one of  those people whom the Prophet described as one of the worst types:  “Among the worst type of people in the sight of Allah (subhaanahu wa ‘ta’aalaa) on the Day of  Judgment is a man who enjoys his wife’s intimate company, and she enjoys his intimate  company, then one of them goes and discloses the secret of the other.”   Talking about that which is private between a...

Surah Al-Araf, Verse 49 and 50

Are they those, of whom you swore that Allah would never show them mercy. (Behold! It has been said to them): "Enter Paradise, no fear shall be on you, nor shall you grieve." And the dwellers of the Fire will call to the dwellers of Paradise: "Pour on us some water or anything that Allah has provided you with." They will say: "Both (water and provision) Allah has forbidden to the disbelievers." #COMMENTARY The Companions of the Fire will thirst for water and not get it, and for sustenance which will not be theirs, while the Companions of the Garden will have the crystal waters of the spring...

HOW TO PROTECT OUR MARRIAGES

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul ithnayn. 13th day of Jumaadal Awwal. (Monday. 28th December. 2020). *_HOW TO PROTECT OUR MARRIAGES_*. BismilLah.  One of the most striking and most alarming hadiths that draw our attention to a major problem we may not be paying attention to is the following. Please read it carefully: Allah’s Messenger SAW said: “Iblis places his throne upon the sea; he then sends his agents, the evil jinns to the entire world on daily basis; the nearer to him in rank are those who are most notorious in creating dissension. One of them will return and says: “I did so and so.” And he says: “You have done nothing.” Then one amongst them comes and says: “I did not spare so and so until I sowed the seed of discord between a husband and a wife.” The Satan goes near him and says: “You have done well. He then embraces him.” [Sahih Muslim]. So to Iblis (Satan/Shaytan/the accursed devil) there is an ultimate goal considered most beloved and pleasing to him. This is:...
