Series On The Incomparable Personality and Appearance of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ)
*Episode 24. HIS LOVE FOR PEACE*
The general notion regarding Islam and Rasūlullāh is that they both encouraged violence in people and were/are not in favor of peace. This is totally baseless, because the religion Islam itself is peace and Rasūlullāh was a lover of peace. He wanted people to live in harmony and always encouraged people resolve their differences by opting for peace, instead of going for violence. In one of His hadith Rasūlullāh said: “Let us go to resolve the situation and make peace between them.” (Bukhari)
Thus, Muslims should spread His message of peace by giving examples out of the actions He undertook to ensure peace.
*Thought For The Day*
Brothers and sisters in Islam, know that the days of this world are shorter and that the days of the hereafter are longer: no matter how much the person does of the good deeds in this life, he will benefit from it in the hereafter which has no end. So come on and seek blessings, goodness, obedience, learning and teaching the religious knowledge and in particular the personal obligatory knowledge in the month of forgiveness and mercy, and the month of the Qur-ān. Do remember that the Messenger of Allāh (Blessings and Peace of Allāh be upon him) used to be the most generous in Ramadān.
