*THE REGRET IN THE HEREAFTER*

*Warnings from Surah Az-Zumar*

➖➖➖

Allah ﷻ says in Surah Az-Zumar

 *أَوْ تَقُولَ حِينَ تَرَى الْعَذَابَ لَوْ أَنَّ لِى كَـرَّةً فَأَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُحْسِنِينَ*

_Or he should say when he sees the torment: "If only I had another chance, then I should indeed be among the doers of good."_

Means, he will wish that he could go back to this world, so that he could do righteous deeds.

 *بَلَى قَدْ جَآءَتْكَ ءَايَـتِى فَكَذَّبْتَ بِهَا وَاسْتَكْبَرْتَ وَكُنتَ مِنَ الْكَـفِرِينَ*

_Yes! Verily, there came to you My Ayat and you denied them, and were proud and were among the disbelievers_

[39:58-59]

Meaning, `O you who regret what you did, My Ayat did come to you in the world, and My proof was established against you, but you rejected it and were too arrogant to follow it, and you were among those who disbelieved in it.'

_

After the Ayah of hope, where Allah ﷻ forgives all sin etc. Allah ﷻ clarifies that a person should seek this before a time comes where he will feel regret and loss for not doing so, before a time comes where he may say this or something of the like.

_

Allah ﷻ says earlier in the passage, that the regretful person will say

 *أَن تَقُولَ نَفْسٌ يحَسْرَتَى عَلَى مَا فَرَّطَتُ فِى جَنبِ اللَّه وَإِن كُنتُ لَمِنَ السَّـخِرِين*

_Lest a person should say: "Alas, my grief that I was undutiful to Allah and I was indeed among those who mocked."_

 *أَوْ تَقُولَ لَوْ أَنَّ اللَّهَ هَدَانِى لَكُـنتُ مِنَ الْمُتَّقِينَ*

_Or (lest) he should say: "If only Allah had guided me, I should indeed have been among those who have Taqwa_

[39:56-57]

_

Let us ponder for a moment!

These Ayaat are meant for the Kuffar!

But it contains a lesson for us aswell,

How many of us, have characteristics in common with the Kuffar?

Specifically the ones listed here!

_

Do we mock or belittle the Deen?

Are we arrogant towards the commands of Allah ﷻ?

Do we disobey Allah ﷻ, and disregard his obedience?

Do we waste our time without putting anything ahead for the hereafter?

Do we seek the guidance of Allah ﷻ?

_

We need to reflect and be truthful to ourselves!

We can change ourselves and make ourselves resemble the righteous and those whom Allah ﷻ loves, rather than sharing traits with those whom Allah ﷻ hates, the Kuffar and the Munafiqeen.

_

*Repent and change!*

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

GIVE CHARITY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Ath-thalaatha. 28th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Tuesday 7th May 2024). *_GIVE CHARITY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD_*. Aameen.  Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: The Prophet (SallallahuAlaihiWasallam) said, "Charity is obligatory everyday on every joint of a human being.* If one helps a person in matters concerning his riding animal by helping him to ride on it or by lifting his luggage on to it, all these will be regarded as charity. A good word, and every step one takes to offer the compulsory congregational prayer is regarded as charity; and guiding somebody on the road is regarded as charity." [Sahih Al-Bukhari, 4/2891]. To show gratitude to ALLAH for keeping your body safe and sound, you should give in charity or do charitable deeds. Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: ALLAH'S Messenger (sallallahuAlaihiWasallam) said, "The strong is not the one who overcomes the people by his strength, but the strong is the one w...

IMPORTANCE OF SEEKING KNOWLEDGE An obligation upon every Muslim

﷽ ➖➖➖ *IMPORTANCE OF SEEKING KNOWLEDGE* ➖➖➖ *An obligation upon every Muslim* ➖➖➖  Allah ﷻ says  *وَعَلَّمَ ءَادَمَ الأَسْمَآءَ كُلَّهَا* _And He taught Adam all the names of everything_ Meaning, the names that people use, such as human, animal, sky, earth, land, sea, horse, donkey, and so forth, including the names of the other species" *ثُمَّ عَرَضَهُمْ عَلَى الْمَلَـئِكَةِ* _Then He showed them to the angels_ Meaning, the creations. Qatadah رحمه الله said, _"Allah paraded the objects before the angels"_ *فَقَالَ أَنۢبِـُٔونِى بِأَسْمَآءِ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ* _And said, "Tell Me the names of these if you are truthful."_ [2:31] This was said to the Angels who in the previous verse said : *أَتَجْعَلُ فِيهَا مَن يُفْسِدُ فِيهَا وَيَسْفِكُ الدِّمَآءَ* _Will You place therein those who will make mischief therein and shed blood._ [2:30] _ So they the Angels said  *قَالُواْ سُبْحَـنَكَ لاَ عِلْمَ لَنَآ إِلاَّ مَا عَلَّمْتَنَآ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْعَلِي...
