 Love for the sake of Allah ( Al walaa and baraa').


Love for the sake of Allah is important as today we do not have love in our society.

This is what shaitan promised to do instilling hatred among us.

Jabir (May Allah be pleased with him) said:

I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as saying, "The Satan has despaired of being worshipped by those who engage in prayer in the Arabian Peninsula but (has not lost hope) in creating dissension among them." [Muslim].

Riyadus saliheen.

Book 18, Hadith 84.


Narrated AbuDharr:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: The best of the actions is to love for the sake of Allah and to hate for the sake of Allah.

Sunan Abi Dawud 4599.


If we will do a good deed to our brother, it should be for the sake of Allah seeking his reward.


There is no two people that will love one another for the sake of Allah that anything can separate them except the sin of the other..

(Tirmidhee).

 DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm al-khamis, 20th day of Swafar 1447AH, Thursday, 14th August 2025. *_PURIFICATION OF THE HEART_*. BismilLah.  A sister asked me yesterday how we can purify ourselves to achieve the immense benefits mentioned in our reminder yesterday.  The command to purify our hearts from sins was an essential Islamic teaching ever since the early stages of the revelation in Mecca. This is known as “purification of the soul” (tazkiyyat an-nafs).   ALLAH Azzawajal says: He has succeeded who purifies the soul, and he has failed who corrupts the soul. Surah Ash-Shams 91:9-10. Also, ALLAH Azzawajal says: A day when there will be no benefit in wealth or children, but only in he who comes to ALLAH Azzawajal with a pure heart.
