Smoking wee and marijuana is haraam.
Alhamdulillah, let's remind ourselves of the Islamic perspective concerning smoking wee and hard drugs and cocaine.
In Islam, anything that is harmful to our system is haraam as this body Allah s.w.t gave us is Aamanah and has rights upon us.
On the day of qiyaamah, Allah s.w.t will ask us of it as a woman used to pray at night and when tired will hanged her sides with rope so as to stand, when rasulullah s.a.w saw it,he disapproved of it.
Narrated Anas bin Malik Once the Prophet (p.b.u.h) entered the Mosque and saw a rope hanging in between its two pillars. He said, "What is this rope?" The people said, "This rope is for Zainab who, when she feels tired, holds it (to keep standing for the prayer.)" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Don't use it. Remove the rope. You should pray as long as you feel active, and when you get tired, sit down."
Sahih al-Bukhari 1150.
Allah s.w.t forbids pig, alcohol and dead animals consumption because they are harmful to the body.
And anything that intoxicants in Islam is haraam.
Cocaine marijuana, Indian hemps are hard drugs from plants which has a purpose they are used for in medicine and research but not for human consumption that affects the body hormones and psychology.
Taking kkaba'ith(impure) substance in the body is haraam.
Allah says
Al-A'raf 7:157
Those who follow the Messenger, the unlettered prophet, whom they find written [i.e., described] in what they have of the Torah and the Gospel, who enjoins upon them what is right and prohibits them from what is wrong and makes lawful for them what is good and forbids them from what is evil and relieves them of their burden and the shackles which were upon them. So they who have believed in him, honored him, supported him and followed the light which was sent down with him – it is those who will be the successful.
If alcohol was forbidden at the time of rasulullah s.a.w, even if it is today such drugs are found at his time, it would have been forbidden for the effects is more than alcohol.
May Allah guides us. Aameen
