 Shirk and the greatest sin in Islam

Alhamdulillah, let's remind ourselves as verily in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find satisfaction.

Shirk الشرك is the greatest sin in Islam

Shirk means to associate partners with Allah s.w.t that is taking the right of Allah s.w.t to give it to someone else.

Allah says,

Al-An'am 6:100

But they have attributed to Allah partners – the jinn, while He has created them – and have fabricated for Him sons and daughters without knowledge. Exalted is He and high above what they describe.

Today many associate partners with Allah s.w.t the jinns.

The jinns are spirits and many today like Hindus worship snake and stones.

Allah says,

As-Saffat 37:158

And they have made [i.e., claimed] between Him and the jinn a lineage, but the jinn have already known that they [who made such claims] will be brought [to punishment].

Allah says,

Saba' 34:41

They will say, "Exalted are You! You, [O Allah], are our benefactor excluding [i.e., not] them. Rather, they used to worship the jinn; most of them were believers in them."

The prophet pbuh said,

Anyone who dies without associating partners with Allah will enter paradise and anyone who dies while associating partners with Allah will enter hellfire.

(Saheeh).

Worshipping graves, stones, believe in superstitious beliefs.
