ALHAMDULILLAH, let's remind ourselves as verily in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find satisfaction.

The greatness of istighfar.


ALHAMDULILLAH, there once lived a seeker of knowledge who was travelling around a city and then night came, so he decided to seek a place to sleep.

But no one gave him a place to sleep so he decided to sleep inside a masjid and continue his journey.

So he arrived at the masjid but the gateman denied him the access to enter the masjid and pull him outside to the roadside.


There, a baker was passing by and saw this man and felt so sorry and then said to him,

Come to my place and rest for the night as I am a baker.

So he took him to his place and the baker at that night started to bake his bread but this man could not sleep as he washed this man uttering some words.

He was tired and said to the baker what are you reciting?

The baker said I am praising Allah saying,

Subhanallah, ALHAMDULILLAH, laa ilaha illa Allah, allahu Akbar.

And the baker said since I started saying this,

There is nothing I need from Allah but he grants me except one thing.

I always make dua to meet imam ibn hanbali.

This man was with tears and said I am imam ibn hanbali.


Subhanallah, the power of istighfar is beyond anything but we do not have time for it today.

May Allah make our tongue wet with dhikr. Aameen

 *BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD* It is best to delay this prayer to the last third portion of the night. Abu Hurairah reports that the Messenger of Allah said: "Our Lord descends to the lowest heaven during the last third of the night, inquiring: 'Who will call on Me so that I may respond to him? Who is asking something of Me so I may give it to him? Who is asking for My forgiveness so I may forgive him?"' This is related by the group.
