Today’s Beautiful Hadith is about Fear

It was narrated from Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudri (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) stood up to deliver a sermon, and one of the things he said was: “Indeed, fear of people should not prevent a man from speaking the truth, if he knows it.” Then Abu Sa'eed wept and said: "By Allah, we have seen things that made us scared (and we did not speak up)."

(Sunan Ibn Majah 4007, Book 36, Hadith 82)

Fear Allah, not man. The truth is eternal and cannot be buried by even a mountain of lies because it will always prevail. Speak the truth and be honest at all times. It is only those who distort or deviate from the truth that should be afraid because all rectification of affairs is with Allah (swt).

﷽ ➖➖➖ *IMPORTANCE OF SEEKING KNOWLEDGE* ➖➖➖ *An obligation upon every Muslim* ➖➖➖ Allah ﷻ says *وَعَلَّمَ ءَادَمَ الأَسْمَآءَ كُلَّهَا* _And He taught Adam all the names of everything_ Meaning, the names that people use, such as human, animal, sky, earth, land, sea, horse, donkey, and so forth, including the names of the other species" *ثُمَّ عَرَضَهُمْ عَلَى الْمَلَـئِكَةِ* _Then He showed them to the angels_ Meaning, the creations.
