The dressing of a muslimah today?
ALHAMDULILLAH, dressing in hijab is wajib(obligatory) in Islam.
Allah says,
Al-Ahzab 33:59
O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to bring down over themselves [part] of their outer garments. That is more suitable that they will be known and not be abused. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.
The hijab should not be transparent, should not be thin, tight to take the form of woman and should cover her complete body.
This is the hijab.
The whole body of a woman is awrah when she is going out of her home to cover her complete body accept what appear thereof.
The hands, face.
Some scholars say the face should be covered as some women wore the niqab.
But some scholars too say it isn't obligatory.
Today our women will dress but with short outfit and wear a handscarf in the name of hijab.
This is not hijab as some parts are exposed.
The messenger of Allah pbuh was shown hellfire and saw some people he did not recognise and one was the women who made theirs hairs like hump of camel and are clothed but naked and walking to enticing form. They will not scent the fragrance of jannah neither will they enter it.
