Today’s Hadith is about Kindness to Parents

It is reported on the authority of 'Abdullah (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) observed: The best of the deeds or deed is the (observance of) prayer at its proper time and kindness to the parents.

(Sahih Muslim, Book 1, Hadith 162)

What a wonderful Hadith that mentions the high status of prayer at its proper time and then kindness to parents. This is the high status of parents in Islam that after prayer, being good to them is one of the best deeds. Alhamdulillah. We only have our parents for an allotted time, treat them well, learn from them and benefit from their company while we can.

﷽ ➖➖➖ *IMPORTANCE OF SEEKING KNOWLEDGE* ➖➖➖ *An obligation upon every Muslim* ➖➖➖ Allah ﷻ says *وَعَلَّمَ ءَادَمَ الأَسْمَآءَ كُلَّهَا* _And He taught Adam all the names of everything_ Meaning, the names that people use, such as human, animal, sky, earth, land, sea, horse, donkey, and so forth, including the names of the other species" *ثُمَّ عَرَضَهُمْ عَلَى الْمَلَـئِكَةِ* _Then He showed them to the angels_ Meaning, the creations.
