The four things that makes our deeds accepted by Allah.

 The four things that makes our deeds accepted by Allah. 

There are four things we need before our deeds are accepted. 

The first is ikhlas(sincerity)

The second is mutabba'a which is doing it as the prophet peace be upon did it. 

The third is having hope the deed is accepted

The fourth is having fear of the deed not accepted. 

That is khawf and Raja'. 

Allah says, 

Al-Anbiya 21:89

And [mention] Zechariah, when he called to his Lord, "My Lord, do not leave me alone [with no heir], while You are the best of inheritors."

Al-Anbiya 21:90

So We responded to him, and We gave to him John, and amended for him his wife. Indeed, they used to hasten to good deeds and supplicate[1] Us in hope and fear, and they were to Us humbly submissive.

So Allah accepted the dua of zakariyya because he prayed out of khawf and raja' seeking for hope and fearing Allah accepts his dua. 

So these four are things needed for our deeds to be accepted by Allah
